Responsive and easy to schedule. Craftsman Marc did an excellent job, completing all work within estimated time. He even made a run to a close by hardware store for a part that should have been left with the shelving, but wasn't. All work was completed carefully and expertly. We will definitely use Handyman Matters again.

EXCELLENT!!
The craftsman (Mark) was awesome! Very professional and insightful. From his communication prior to arrival to the finished task - SIMPLY PHENOMENAL!
Additionally, I had asked for him afterwards to take a look and provide a quote on an aging deck for add on railings and gates for my 19 month old daughter. EASY DAY - got his tape and provided me ideas and recommendations.
Mark and Handyman Matters will definately be at the top of my list for service!!! You will not be disappointed!

Booked this appointment about 30 days out after receiving a few bids from other vendors on Angie's List. Handyman Matters was far and away the best deal out there, and I booked them the same day I spoke with them. I opted for an 0900 appointment and was told David would be the handyman providing my services.
Fast forward to today, the day of the appointment, and things started off a little rocky. 0900 came and went. At 0930 there was still nobody here. I finally get a phone call at 0945 from Marc advising me that he was running late and asked if 1030-1045 would be a suitable arrival time. My radar immediately went off due to the fact that David was supposed to be our handyman, not Marc. It turns out David stopped showing up for work, and Marc got double booked at 0900 due to the fact that he had to absorb part of David's schedule. No biggie. Once Marc showed up at 1030 we both realized what had happened, and he promised to work hard to make it right.
Marc was outstanding, and had all the work completed within 3 hours. He was professional and friendly, and I intend to ask for him again the next time we use their service. On top of that, they came in well below the dollar figure I had budgeted for, so it was a definite win all the way around. Can't recommend these guys enough. Great job.

To start off, this is the second time we have used Handyman Matters. So that says something there.
Marc Chambers showed right on time and after I showed him what the problem was he was ON IT. Seems the old grout and caulk in our shower had cracked and after our grand son put a towel over the drain and had water 2 inches deep in the shower stall which then leaked into our den and bedroom. Grandson knows better now.
Marc had the problem solved in 20 minutes and looks GREAT. Re caulked all around the floor and up each cornor about 4 inches..
Another good job by Handyman Matters.

A fairly old sliding glass door had become more and more difficult to open. Marc Chambers of Handyman Matters figured out that the track was bent and that the rollers had become loose so that the door was actually grating along the track. He repaired the track and soaped it. Then he tightened the rollers so that the door actually rolls. He was ~30 minutes late because the previous client had found more new problems while he was working on the one about which they had called in the first place. But Mr. Chambers called to give me an updated time, so I was not inconvenienced.

Jerry was a few minutes late due to rain but called to notify me. He was very friendly knowledgeable efficient. He did a great job ! was able to work through complications that arose. Grete job!!

Handyman arrived on time . Quickly assessed repairs needed and promptly completed work. Inquired about fence repairs. Handyman agreed to return the next day. He returned next day with necessary supplies and repaired fence, fence gate, and siding on shed. All repairs were completed courteously and satisfactorily. Have made several requests for clarification on painting job but have not heard from handyman.

Jerry arrived a little early and went right to work, he didn't waste any of his or my time. He kept me aware of where he was with the repairs and estimated the ending cost for me. He was extremely polite and professional, I would not hesitate to recommend Handyman Matters or Jerry to anyone. They stated no job too small and they stand by that, spend a hundred or five thousand they treat you the same.

Steven arrived right at the agreed upon time and after reviewing the work to be done, got right to work. He was diligent and moved all of the tools he needed from his truck to the work site. Because our house (like many in SA) lacks gutters, the rain water splashes off the patio and onto the back door jams. Over many years, that water has caused the wood to rot. He cut out the decaying wood and replaced with milled cedar. After filling with wood putty, he primed and painted the jams with paint he matched perfectly with our existing paint color. I've had a gate fence that hasn't opened smoothly for years because it drooped and rubbed. Steven offered to install a small angle bracket to it shoring it up. Now the gate opens effortlessly! His attention to detail is excellent. Even though I wish this sort of quality work could be done for less money, I realize that skilled employees (not sub-contractors with questionable backgrounds) that are insured and bonded drive overhead costs up. My wife and I are very happy with the work performed by Handyman Matters!

The ladies in the office were awesome, professional, helpful and provided an estimate for the work. Nick was incredible. He was on time and finished earlier than anticipated. He was completely professional and the work is better than the originals. I have more projects on my 'to do' list and I will definitely use Handyman Matters again.

Everything went very well with the gutter cleaning service. The only unprofessional thing I found was that Zack had asked to use the restroom upon arrival. I find it unprofessional that he wouldn't have taken care of that before arriving at my home. Other than that the quality of the work was very good.

Jerry Settles was great. He went with me to Lowes to get what was needed, explained everything he was doing, and cleaned up afterwards. He was polite and efficient, and very pleasant to deal with.

Stephen arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently to perform the desired work. He was courteous and professional, and made sure to consult me with minor modification decisions as he built my banquette. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of the work performed, and I would definitely consider hiring Handyman Matters in the future for other projects.

Marc C. called me when he was on the way and arrived promptly. He adjusted the door and replaced the strike plate and now there is no daylight visible nor outside air drawing into the house and the door feels more secure. Marc was very professional and the quality work was quick and totally to my satisfaction.

The experience with Handyman Matters was pretty poorly. They canceled the first session we did. The second session, they came out and did some of the work but did not finish it. They said they would come back and finish it but never heard from them for more than a week. I ended up hiring another handyman company to finish the work. The sad thing about it is they left an open hole in my master bathroom floor where the toilet should have been. They removed it but they never installed the new one. They said they could not do it because they ran out of time or whatever but it’s only been two and a half hours. It was very annoying.
