"Our apology to this member but we cannot find a record of her call(s) to our office. We did have a fence repair inquiry about the same time from a customer in Seguin, which is farther than we normally travel for service. Not sure if this was the same member or someone different."
It went very well. Mark arrived one time. He was very friendly and professional and I felt very comfortable that he could do the
tasks I had. Most were simple but he accomplished all efficiently and quickly. There was no job too small and I appreciated he
was so willing to do them since my husband nor I are able to. Plan to use him again in the near future for other jobs.

Had I followed the advice of an earlier handyman (not from their company), one of the changes wouldn't have met Code - but Ed knows details like that. He's also super-skilled in executing his work, so he doesn't have to dawdle - he is a mean motor scooter when it comes to running down the task list!
These guys also were very personable and professional and I felt completely comfortable having them in and around my home.
I would recommend HANDYMAN MATTERS for your home repairs to friends and neighbors without any reservation. I have their number on file, and next time I need something, I'll go right to them.

It went very well. Brett did an excellent job and was very professional and personable. He cleaned up after himself and even pointed out that a bookcase would need to be moved so the glass door would not meet up with the corner of the bookcase. He moved the bookcase for me as well.
Brett did an excellent job and worked quickly and efficiently. His work was meticulous. I would definitely hire him again.

My husband and I are in the process of getting estimates to have our master bath remodeled. He was interested in the Wedi shower system, however, very few licensed companies/individuals are certified in this process. Handyman Matters was recommended by the local Wedi representative. My husband first contacted the Boerne location, but was told that we were out of his area, so we were referred to the San Antonio location. He called and described what we were looking for and was told that their "craftsman" was booked up for the next month, and that the first appointment that we could get for an estimate was today, Monday July 13 at 5p.
I was off from work today, so we made sure that we scheduled everything that we had to do, with time to get back home for our appointment. At 4p, we were contacted by Handyman Matters to cancel. We were told that his truck had broken down this morning and he was unable to get it repaired to come out and give an estimate.
The other estimates we received were in the ballpark of 8,000-10,000, so I would expect that they would have been in that general area. This last minute cancellation, after waiting a month, indicates to me irresponsibility, and more importantly, complete disrespect for my time. The offered to "fit us in" tomorrow, however, we both work, and this is not an option.
If they can't keep an appointment just to give an estimate, why would I want to trust them with a 10,000 project?
