Description of Work: My AC unit is 14+ years old so I was expecting to get a sales pitch to buy a new unit from them but to my surprise that didn't happen. The service tech was Juan and he was professional and honest about my AC and didn't mind me watching him throughout the process, he actually encouraged me looking over his shoulder for several reasons. I will definitely use them for future service needs and when I need to purchase a new unit Tex-Perts will be the first I call.

Description of Work: I was quite surprised by the technician who arrived and provided the service to me. I expected he, like most others I've encountered in the related trades, would tell me how lucky I was to be alive, and thank goodness he was there to save me and my castle with a really fabulous deal that would only cost several thousand dollars! Not only did he define an existing problem of which I was aware, he gave me OPTIONs and quelled my concerns that I must do something immediately, immediately being sign a contract with his company! I do understand profit margin, and I do understand businesses are run for profit, but I've grown tired of literally every tech of a company trying to sell me something which is greatly inflated. Anyway, I ramble. The short of it? These guys are great! Maybe they're so rich they don't need to gouge me, but when the tech left I literally stood in rapt disbelief that he had done so many things for the price of service I had already paid! He cleaned, adjusted, pointed out issues, and ensured my system was running and would run! Want to see the back of a service tech without feeling you've just been mugged? Contact this company! They'll do you right!

Description of Work: Routine inspection and service of two A/C units.

Description of Work: I'm not sure. They had given me a price for $165 to repair a piece that was causing leakage. The repairman came down and said it would be $65. He couldn't repair what he had said needed to be repaired.

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal from them for a 24 point AC tune-up with 1 pound of refrigerant.

Description of Work: Signed up for one of Angie's "Big Deals" for a $59 AC tuneup. Like a lot of these, it is really a loss-leader so they can hit you up for additional parts and service. That said, they were on time, seemed to know what they were doing, and answered all my questions. I went ahead and got the 3 visit service plan because it's never fun to have the AC crash in a Texas summer.

Description of Work: Our air conditioning had stopped cooling and I called them, based on reviews from Angie's List. The technician arrived on time, was polite and gave good explanations for what he was going to do and why. He tested the lines, after determining it wasn't due a mechanical problem. He refilled the unit with freon. We haven't had a problem since. We used a Angie's List coupon. Very satisfied with this company. We will use them again, if needed.

Description of Work: Installed new A/C, adjusted ductwork, replaced some vents and have serviced equipment since it was installed. They are always great to deal with. Some initial communication issues (they thought their workers were at my house when they were not), but follow-up service has always been on-time and with a fair price.

Description of Work: They did a thorough and complete check of our heating and air conditioning system and checked the Freon. They are excellent as we have used them several times now and never had a bad experience.
