Sean came out on three different occasions before I was finally ready to begin the project. He was patient throughout the process and never made me feel bad for changes or the delay to move forward. What impressed me the most was his creative ideas and vision for our backyard which was such a welcome relief; I was confident he was the best fit for our project. He did not disappoint. When the start date came, he and his crew showed up early and worked two and half long days. His crew was good and I liked the way Sean (and Josh) were hands-on the project and did oversee it until the end. The end results are amazing and we could not be happier with how it turned out. I highly recommend Southern Landscape Solutions and plan to use them in the (near) future.

Sean Radabaugh came out and looked over my property. He made notes of everything I wanted accomplished and then made several suggestions. After agreeing on the work to be provided, Sean prepared a detailed estimate. I asked for a few changes and he willingly made the changes and sent me a new estimate which I accepted. His crew arrived early on the agreed start date. They did an excellent job and did not take any shortcuts to finish early. The irrigation system works perfectly. They removed all trash including the trees that were cut down. My yard hasn't looked this good in a long time. I am extremely satisfied with the work performed and would not hesitate to use them again. Sean and his entire team were courteous, professional, and a pleasure to do business with.

I am very happy with the result. Sean was responsive when I was still in the planning phase, and he stopped by several times and gave me several options to fit my budget. Sean recommended steel edging to keep the path looking tidy. I was concern about the steel edging, as I have seen too many installed and looking shoddy after a season. He assured me that it be sturdy. He was correct. The steel he used is not what is found at the big box store. Its much sturdier, and does not buckle, His team installed it evenly. The rock was installed nicely as well. After 6 months, I have not seen any issues, except the normal (Bermuda grass, etc). 
I would consult Sean first for my other projects. His price is a little higher than the others, but he uses better materials, the proper insurance and his team seems to be qualified people. I guess the cost of of a job well done is worth it, because you won't have regrets or pay (someone else) to do it again!

Terrible.  At first glance the landscaping looks amazing, plant choices were great, and everything was satisfactory.   The problem began when we got a large rain a few weeks before Memorial Day 2015 and water built up very badly in the back of my house (they actually covered drains I had by mistake) and a small amount entered the home.  I let Sean know I had issues and he promptly sent the guys back out to install new drains.  He then sent me a bill for $1000 to pay for them when they were the ones who covered them up in the first place so I refused and he canceled the bill.  The bigger issue is during the design process I mentioned multiple times my number 1 concern was the lot grading and the fact that it slanted slightly towards my house.  They came in and "fixed it" however they didn't actually.  The entire back slopes directly towards my house enough that water builds up and I mean ALOT of water.  Unfortunately during Memorial Day weekend it rained heavy again and my house flooded costing $50k plus of damage throughout.  I let know Sean know I still had issues and the guys came out and did a terrible job adding another pipe in the front, it only made it worse.  At this point I gave up on these guys.
Buyer beware, if you have a simple project then they are fine but if you have anything to do with grading a lot or any kind of water issues I would highly recommend against them.   I have spent another $3k on additional drains because they graded the lot wrong and unfortunately I still have to sandbag my house when it rains.  Note I am not at the bottom of a hill, next to any body of water, or anything like that.  Normal central Austin neighborhood.  In order to fix it the entire back is going to have to be redone which Sean and team won't do. 

After repairs were completed, Mike explained how the zones were arranged and times for watering in each zone.

Southern Landscape Solutions Inc. initially sent a technician to do an evaluation of the entire sprinkler system to see what needed to be done to have it operate efficiently.  Upon review of the system, an estimate was submitted to us to make repairs and/or replacements.  
The technician returned a couple of days later and completed all of the work needed to the system.  The technician was professional and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was operating correctly before leaving.

Service was prompt, professional and courteous. I was especially impressed with Sean's immediate knowledge of the issues that needed to be addressed, suggesting the appropriate plants for the design, and with the follow up instructions on caring for the plants after the work was done. Sean and his team did a great job - the yard looks great!
