An extremely difficult job done very well. Our team was thorough and professional, couldn't ask for anything more. Carlos was the lead guy and he did a superb job. Kent was the operations supervisor and visited often and he was the guy who got up and cleaned the registers and vents that were 28 feet high. Gave a B grade on price - how would I know what's competitive? Quote seemed high at first but more than fair when the job was done. Called some others highly rated by Angie's list and they didn't even bother to come out and look at the job - gave a quote over the phone. I even cautioned them about it, and they said if it was a house that was their bid. Knowing the extent of the job I dismissed them and their company. If they came out for their quote they would have either left immediately or done a half assed job.

About 45 minutes in to the job on the first staircase, I noticed they seemed to be having problems. The truck engine was surging very badly every time the turned on the suction, and they couldnt keep it running. They worked on it for a while. The driver told me that this truck had been deadlined for repairs for a week or more, but clearly wasnt fixed, that he had spent 3 hrs earlier just to clean one couch. I told him to pack it up and come back when he had a working truck. I then called Kent Cole, operations supervisor, explained the situation and told him to pick a day when he could send a working truck. He chose the following Thursday at noon. This was on a Friday at noon. Just before noon the following Thursday, the driver called to tell me he was on the way to my residence. He also said he was in the same truck as last week, and that it still was not running properly, and that I was not going to be happy with what they were able to do. I told him to forget showing up with non-functioning equipment. I then called the Operations Manager Kent Cole again, and asked him what was up with the same junk truck being sent out. He said it had been repaired. I told him apparently his driver disagreed and that he should either send me a new working truck or forget the whole thing. ANYWAY, I never got my stairs cleaned:( The end.

It went fine with booking. They called to confirm and I let them know that we were still on. They sent email confirmation that they would be there on the scheduled day and time. The day before the cleaning they called again to confirm the booking letting me know that everything was set up for tomorrow. Then they called back later that day and said that there had been a scheduling error and that they would not be able to make it. I've used Blackmon Mooring for years and this has never happened. But right before we are expecting them and without enough time to find an alternative during the holidays is just wrong. They didn't even respond to requests to escalate or have a manager call back. The lady on the phone was friendly but not helpful. They don't respond on social media when you ask them simple questions either. This company fails at customer service, scheduling and responsive communication.

We had water damage from a faulty water heater, Kory called and then arrived with 2 hours of the call to my insurance company. He inspected all areas around the leak and determined the expected amount or recovery and repair work that would be needed to effect repairs.

The duct cleaning service was performed okay and did get a lot of dust and other material such as insulation (in one of the ducts) but I was a little disappointed in that my expectations were that the whole duct system would be subjected to the cleaning process which was not the case due to the limitations of the equipment and the way it is performed. I can't say for sure but I don't think this is Blackmon Moorings problem but a problem industry wide. There is just no way to get the equipment that is used more than 6 to 10 or 12 feet in past the grill. While it did do some good I was in the attic a few days later putting in a booster fan in a long run of duct to boost air flow to a bedroom and there was still a layer of dust in the duct which would not have been accessible given the current equipment being used. I would not have this service performed again as it is just not that effective. I have no problems with the work that was performed by Blackmon Mooring just this type of service. It is not worth the money.

The first guy who showed up was nice and clean, the two guys who came to do the tear out were kind of scary. When they had to move my things they just threw everything around. They apparently just tossed my valuable, Tiffany Lamp onto my bed. My lamp was stained glass. He did come back out to look at damage and take pictures and told me that a specialist was going to come out to evulate the damage. The fact that they just came out and tossed my lamp is ridiculous. They just tossed the base of my lamp on the bed and the lamp side to smash in the area. Everything did end up getting dried out, but it was a huge mess. If they take care of repairing or replacing the lamp, I will edit my review.
