+ -1 moreThey put 2 pounds of Freon in my unit. They advised me that I may need to purchase a new unit, because my current unit is outdated. I have had it since 1988. They charged me $80 a pound for the Freon, which is a fair price compared to other companies in the area. I called them, and they came out the very next day. He seemed to be very trustworthy, and was very upfront about everything. I would recommend him to anyone.

+ -1 moreCame right out, quick response. Checked out the system, found I had a bad circuit breaker. Offered to go get one and replace it but I declined since I can easily do that myself. I offered to pay for the service call, but he insisted there was no charge - company policy. He was very polite and professional. I will certainly call him again when I need AC system service!

Description of Work: Chris returned my call and got out to my place fast. Air conditioner was out. He got it fixed and I thought he was reasonably priced. There were some communication issues for which I will take responsibility. However, when use him again, I would only communicate by phone calls and not text. I think he is old school or busy and the texting is what caused communication issues. I would only use text to follow-up to confirm an address or something basic.

+ -1 moreWe hadn't changed the filter in a while and he showed us where it was and fixed it. He didn't charge us. It was nice to get the help we needed. Even though the problem was our fault.

Description of Work: Repair broken sprinkler pipe. Went real well. Even gave us some soil to cover hole that they have to dig to get to pipe & told us to get some more so nobody will fall through. When I called they said will be @ my house btwn 4 to 6 pm but they showed up w/in 30 min of my calling in. They suggested that I sign up for their monthly plan of $6.95 a month this way if I ever need emergency plumbing service I will be put @ the top of the list as well as them showing up after hrs & wknds w/out extra charges. I have the same plan for my a/c & it is $12.95 a month & twice a year they will show up to make sure my a/c is running smoothly & should something happen to my a/c I will be @ the top of their list & no after hrs or wknds charges.

+ -1 moreI got Chris's name from some co-workers who had good experiences working with him. I needed the HVAC system installed in a remodel project that I was working on. Chris took the time to plan a good system and proposed a few features that other contractors had missed, like adding return air ducts in a new addition to the house. I was on an extended schedule and Chris was patient that I was taking a long time. I will definitely call Chris if I need HVAC work in the future.

Description of Work: I have been in my home in Hutto for 6 years and 5 months. The house was brand new built by DR Horton. About a month ago the AC stopped cooling. I called Chris because he had repaired the ac at my business and was very fair with the price and the system was up and running with in an hour. Chris checked my system one evening about 6 pm and said it was low. He added freon and the system was working again. He said there was a leak in the evaporator which is the part in the house and that the compressor was noisey. He told us it may last thru the winter or may leakout again with in a month. We returned from vacation two weeks later and the system was not working again. Chris checked it again and confirmed the leak. We opted for a replacement system from Carrier. The new system is a 3 ton and the old one was 2 ton which after a bit of research found out was too small for our home. Chris showed up with his crew,replaced the system,cleaned up and was out in a couple 3 hours. System is working great. I would highly reccomend AC by Chris. Thanks, Scott

+ -1 morePurchased a house and wanted someone to check out the A/C unit to make sure it was operating properly. Called Chris around 4pm in the evening and was able to get him out to the house by 9am the next morning. He did a through inspection of the system which is 11 years old and found it working properly although two electronic parts were starting to give issues. He said it was working properly and may need service in the future but I opted to get it replaced as the unit had never had any service. He was prompt, polite and made suggestions that would same me money rather than suggesting more expensive work. I would do business with him again.
Description of Work: Service call to check A/C unit. Replaced capacitor and relay that showed wear .
