I had a leaking hot water shutoff valve to my washing machine and after trying to fix it by using internet repair recommendations, I was not successful. So I turned to Angies List and found Partridge Plumbing who I called and reached reached someone on the first call (very rare). Shane came out later in the day (as promised) and was right on schedule. He promptly diagnosed the problem and replaced the valve. The cost was very reasonable, and even included an Angies List discount. I would definitely use Shane again and highly recommend him to others.

Shane is incredible. From our first interaction with him we knew he would be our plumber for life. This was our third time needing his services and as always, he was great. We last called him when the area under our kitchen sink appeared to be flooded because of the dishwasher had become disconnected. The problem turned out to be huge, something he recognized and didn't even charge us for the visit, saying he knew we had a whole lot ahead us. Can we just take a minute to appreciate that this is a plumber who DID NOT charge us knowing we would soon be deep in financial straights?? Also, knowing that his service is so good we would absolutely call him when the remediation got to that point. We have now had our kitchen gutted and found out that our washing machine was draining into our kitchen because of a clog in the drain line. Shane came out and not only unclogged the washing machine drain line, he did the kitchen drain line as a sort of two-for-one. The first time we used him, he unclogged a bathroom sink for us and fixed our water line to our refrigerator. At no extra cost, he looked at our bathroom shower. We had been told by our house inspector that the shower pan was broken when we purchased the house. He confirmed that this was not the case, and was just water leaking through the handles for the shower that were not caulked and were hanging loose. He saved us untold amounts of money that would have been spent demolishing that shower only to find the shower pan was fine. Beyond his willingness to go above and beyond, he is just a friendly, straightforward, and above all honest man. When you think of plumbers, or at least when I do, I think of people who can charge and arm and a leg because it's almost always a desperate situation. This is not the case with Shane. He will be there ASAP, he will treat you kindly and respectfully, and he will get the job done quickly and correctly. Seriously, Partridge Plumbing. Don't waste your time looking any further, this is the guy.

I was re doing my hall bathroom and was in search of a plumber that could come in and install my new tub and move my drain over and install the fixtures. I found Partridge Plumbing here on Angie's list. I called and got Shane on the phone and asked when he could come out he said he was in the area and would be by within the hour. He was there like he said he would and gave me a quote right there. And the price was spot on. We scheduled a time for him to come out, and he was there like he said he would. I purchased a new tub for my hall bathroom which was bigger than the original tub. Shane moved the drain over to accommodate the tub, he also installed the overflow pipe that that particular tub required and raised the pipe for the shower head.. He said he would come back after the tile was and install the fixtures. I had the tile installed and gave Shane a call to see when he could come out while driving home from my office, his reply was I can come out today. I told him my ETA was 20 to 25 mins. and when I was arrived there was Shane. You couldn?t ask for a better plumber, he is very professional and courteous. additionally he is very down to earth kind of guy, and I think once you meet Shane you will think the same. Would I hire Shane again? Absolutely.. Would I refer him to family and friends Absolutely.

Provider was extremely prompt, helpful, and professional. Did an excellent job on the water heater and coordinated well with my landlord as to the repairs and job invoicing. Completed the project swiftly including pulling necessary permits, troubleshooting, parts, labor, and cleanup. Job was complete from start to finish in around four hours. Highly recommended and would use again in the future. Landlord so happy with service asked for one of Shane's cards for future plumbing needs.

Inspected the plumbing in the house and suggested work that could be done to make it better. Then went outside and quickly replaced an old faucet with a new one that works with one twist. It's great. The man was a professional. Looked good, clean and in a uniform. his discussion was technical and in depth with the suggestions. I would certainly use him again for the next problem I have.

On Sunday, September 15, 2013, the water heater in my garage developed a large leak and flooded the surrounding area. I called the local Fire Department and they came out and shut off the gas line to the water heater. Then being at the mercy of Angie?s List and another source I placed a call to Partridge Plumbing and Mr. Shane Partridge came to my home and shut off the water line to the water heater. He was here a total of 3 to 5 minutes. At that time he agreed to come the next day, Monday, September 16, 2013, to replace the unit. He arrived alone, at which time I asked about how he was going to manage to lift such a heavy water heater into place? He replied with a vague answer of ?I do this all the time.? Also, before he started the install, I tried to confirm with him if he had pulled a work permit? He said, yes. The water heater was installed, but with numerous dents and marks to the outside tank. Upon my inspection I pointed this out to him. Also, on Monday, September 16, 2013 after he told me the job was finished, I paid him with a check in the sum of $1,175.00 dollars. (The bill approximately $350.00 dollars higher than other bids for the same install??) A copy of the invoice is enclosed. During the payment process I told him I planned to replace the water heater located inside my home, so to avert anymore possible water damage. But, I did not make any arrangements for him to do the work nor give any kind of time frame when it would be done. A few minutes after he left my property, I called him to again tell him about the dents and damage to the tank. And, also the water heater was making a strange noise and the burners were much louder than my other unit. I received another vague excuse and he dismissed my complaint. Several days following and after my dissatisfaction and uneasiness with the work performed by Partridge Plumbing I started to do some research. Something just wasn?t right?? I called my regular plumber, (now back from vacation) to have him install my second water heater which is located inside my home. That was done and completed on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Also on that day I called the City of Keller, Melinda Hernandez, Code Compliance Officer, to arrange for a city inspector to inspect the two installations. At that time the city clerk informed me no permit had been pulled for the first job by Partridge Plumbing. Immediately, I called Mr. Shane Partridge about it, he admitted he had not pulled a permit for the work. And he said the vent pipe on the garage water heater still needed to be insulated, the job was not completed. And now he had planned to do that work when he returned on a second trip to put in the second water heater. Hearing yet another fabrication from Mr. Partridge, I then had an intense heated exchange of words with him about his dishonesty, lying, deceitful business practices, and now flat taking advantage of the situation and me. In the first place, a permit should have been pulled prior to starting any work! Secondly the installation should have been totally completed prior to payment, and finally, we had in no way agreed to any aspect of installation of the second water heater with his company. Also, there is no Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners address, telephone number, nothing, on my invoice. I have checked with the Austin office and that must be present on invoice. Another Violation! At that point Mr. Partridge was asked not to return to our property. On September 24th, during a time frame of about (2 to 4 hours) I received three calls from the City of Keller permit department, Melinda Hernandez. She advised me, that apparently and very obvious, that Mr. Partridge had driven by my home today, (Sept. 24th well after his original install date of Sept.16th) was now trying to request a permit under a ?remodeling permit?? More Deceit and Duplicity! I strongly suggest that this business be investigated and reviewed. My regular plumber who addresses my plumbing issues when they arise, and who installed my second water heater agreed to insulate the vent pipe on the garage water heater and review the whole installation for integrity and my families safety. Both water heaters were inspected and passed on September 25, 2013 by the City of Keller. In closing, I am asking for a review of the unethical business practices by Partridge Plumbing, perhaps this will prevent another individual or family from engaging such a dishonest company.

All repairs were done quickly and professionally with no reoccurrence of any of the original problems. Would definitely use again if the need arises.

Shane did a great job! He came out quickly to assess the situation, then came out the next day to fix the problem. He was prompt and very professional. And he was generous with the fee. I will definitely call him again with my plumbing issues.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The guy was okay. I had to pay for an upgraded faucet because the faucet that was included in the deal was really dinky and I had to pay an extra $69 or $99. His personality was okay. He was more matter-of-fact. He kinda came across as basically, "Everything is going to break. Buy this, buy that. He said that my water heater's plumbing was all messed up. It's been a while since I had that done and my water heater works just fine. I had the impression that he was trying to get more money out of me. He wasn't really at all helpful. If I would use him in the future, I would be very cautious about him. I felt like was scammed because I assumed that it would be a decent quality faucet that was included in the deal.

Arrived promptly, drained heater, inspected the house plumbing, made some suggestions for the future, discussed different types of water heaters and maintenance costs, fixed an outdoor faucet in back that had leaked for years. Very appreciative of all the help!

good service- we will use them again

I bought the $99 big deal because my mom was having issues at her house. They came out and performed the service. Based on the conversations I had with my mom, that went really well. What was going on was that, she had her water bill spiked and her usage had gone up considerably. She had actually been staying out here with me a lot more because I have a little girl, and she was walking her during the day when I was at work. She had this combination of her being not at home and her water bill going up. So, they went and checked for leaks but did not find any leaks. The one other thing that she thought that might be the issue was that the summer was really bad last year. We had a really bad drought. She actually came home one day and found that one of her neighbors was watering his lawn with her hose. The Partridge Plumbing said seasoned and old carry beam house. They actually crawled underneath, looked, and did not find any dampness or any kind of leaking under the house. He asked her if she wanted him to tap it since he also suspected that it might be the neighbor. My mom said yes. He went ahead and tapped the faucet that is on the outside in front of her house so the neighbor would not be able to hook up a hose to it and turn it on. He did all of that without charging her anything extra. So, I think it was well worth money for him to know, crawl under the house, and verify that there was no leak but also tapped that faucet. My mom said that she was very pleased with them. I would purchase another Angie’s List deal from them or pick and use them again.

Shane was very professional and not only did he fix our leak, he explained to us what we had done wrong that we couldn't fix it ourselves. He had our problem resolved in 5 minutes and spent some time checking the remainder of the plumbing in our house to make sure we didn't have any other leaks. (We have had all the bathrooms remodeled over the last year and the outfit that did it didn't use a certified plumber and we have had leak afer leak and it has been a nightmare). We HIGHLY recommend Partridge Plumbing and will call him again in an instant should we have any other plumbing problems or needs.

I was impressed from the minute he showed. He wore booties to keep my house clean (I didn't even have to ask him to put them on). He was very prompt and professional. He showed us simple ways to do the checks ourselves in the future. I will certainly be using him again in the future.

Re-did the sealing of my toiler. I have never had any problems.

Mr Partridge called and said he was in the area between appointments an could stop by so I didn't have to wait for a later appointment. I agreed. When he arrived, I showed him the two slow draining lines and he went to work immediately after getting a few tools from his truck. Not only did he clear the lines, but he showed me how to avoid letting the lines clog again in the future - plus how to clear them myself if they did slow down again. The education alone was worth the service call.

I am leasing out the property, and Shane was nice enough to work directly with the tenant to schedule the time. He was punctual and performed what he said he would. He listened to my concerns and told me how he would treat the house and what made sense to do from an improvement standpoint. He was great.
