This company was hired by our extended Warranty Company to come replace a Freezer Door that was leaking water from the inside out. They came out made some calls & ordered a New Door. Well 8 weeks later they come out to swap doors, Not only did they Break the shut off valve to the water on the Fridge, they took the new door handle, plate on ice dispenser & Ice Container, left us with the old parts. Technician didn't wait aroud to finish the job said to call him when water valve fixed ( luckily we could fix this ) but when we called the Technician he said he would come back by & call but never did. We called Guinco this morning & were told they would need a new work order to come fix what the Technician didn't do on Friday or Pay. I left messages, calls & no response from them. Now I have no use of water features where at least with my old door leaking I did. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE will be telling everyone how horrible. New company coming Dec 5th to fix what Guinco could not fix correctly or wait to finish the job correctly because they are over worked because folks quit now I see why they quit. Maybe the company needs to reach out to the customer as well there are two sides to a story Veteran owned to Veteran your technician did not tell you the full story wow

"While we appreciate your feedback, it's important to understand the facts pertaining to your appliance service visit. Between your records in our system, the explanation from the technician and documented photos of your appliance, it is clear that the home plumbing was rusted and there was a risk to attempt to turn off the water to complete the repair. This was to prevent any damage to your home. Unfortunately, this action was outside of our control. In regards to the door that was shipped by the manufacturer (Part # W11395874), the part does not come as a complete assembly, instead it only comes with the door and the seal. This is the reason why parts from your existing door had to be transferred and installed onto your new door. Our technician advised that once the water shut off was repaired, turning on the supply water to the refrigerator would complete the repair - this was our way of indicating a damage precaution to your home. Our technician advised that if you had any further issues to contact our office to schedule a return service visit since he could not test it with water. However, the office advised your extended warranty company of the current situation and they do require the customer to make contact with them to authorize any additional repairs if they may be needed, and was not something we could perform on your behalf."

DO NOT EVER USE GUINCO.!!!! Liars!! I had work done on an ice machine many times after they told me that it needed a new pump. I asked at the time about what kind of warranty it came with, because it was expensive and I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much money on the ice machine. I was assured that ALL parts and Labor were covered with the new pump. The installer came at least 3 times to install it properly and it never worked right for at least a year. Guinco came a few times and kept charging me. The machine kept overheating and they came at least 3 more times and I was extremely frustrated because the repair guy was constantly on his phone and said he wasn't sure how to fix the problem. Fast forward a month and we notice the wood floors starting to buckle and asked Guinco to come back and they missed one appt (blamed scheduler). When they finally arrived there guy took pictures of the floor and left after replacing a hose and he said the pump malfunctioned and they would cover nothing. (Guess their warranty was worthless). I called some manager named Larry and he said I had to call Whirlpool and get a new pump and file a claim for wood floors because none of this was Guinco's fault. What the ****? I finally got him to agree to refend the cost of the original pump and install, or at least I thought I did. After he said they would refund the pump and install and said it was approved, nothing happened for 2 months. I then called him and told him the floor damage had now spread throughout the kitchen and was over 3,000 dollars of damage and a 1,200 pump and install bill and asked when was I going to get a refund. He then proceeded to tell me that Guinco was innocent and I needed to call Whirlpool who eventually would do nothing and they would make me file on my homeowners insurance. GUINCO is the worst company if you are looking for any kind of customer service or even competent repair work. I will be seeking a lawyer to hold them accountable for this scam and damage to my house. DO NOT EVER USE GUINCO.

The ice and water in the door of our fridge stopped working. Lowe’s sent Guinco to fix it. The technician said the filter was bad. We had just changed the filter so I knew that wasn’t true. He then changed the motor in the door. That night our fridge stopped working and spoiled all our groceries. Trip 2 - The technician said the controls stopped working and showed me some sort of mother board. Said he would order parts. Trip 3- A week later he came back and took the fridge apart, said the sent the wrong part and he would have to reorder. Trip 4- Came back. Said the part was broken during shipping and he would have to reorder. Trip 5- Came back. Said they ordered the wrong part again. Trip 6 - My husband called to verify the right part the day before. Technician was here for a few hours. Said they sent the wrong part again, but the old one worked fine. Said he reattached a loose connection in the door. Said the brand new filter was bad. Said it was fixed and left. Six hours later, the water and ice in the door isn’t working and the fridge is back up to 50°. The incompetence of this company has cost us well over $1000 in lost work days and the cost of convenience food since we’ve been without a fridge for six weeks. I will never recommend them, and think Lowe’s should cancel their contract. Lowe’s is honoring our extended warranty and sending us a new refrigerator, even though this one could probably be fixed by someone who knew what they were doing. I’ve been incredibly understanding and patient through this process even though they’ve not done anything to make it right, and I am very glad to be done with this company, thanks to Lowe’s sending us a new fridge.

If you have an appliance issues there is no better company to use than Guinco Service. Manuel Salinas was my service technician he was very professional and personal. He made my day by fixing my issue in the same visit and doing it with a great attitude. I will recommend Guinco and Manuel to everyone that needs service on appliances. Manuel made me remember the days when I worked in the field. When he entered my home he put shoe covers on his shoes that shows he cares. Hang on to Manuel he is a keeper 5 Stars to you sir. Work done lasted 11 days and then fell apart. When I called to ask them to send someone back to fix it, they refused. I asked if they guaranteed their work and they told me it was a recurring problem and I needed to have it re-installed and they didn’t do that.

I had changed the freezer thermostat (after calling for them to come) and that made the freezer come back on. Because it was functioning, the repair person could not determine what caused the problem. He said that if it occurs again, not to change the thermostat. Also, there will be no charge for a call back within three months.

My dishwasher is still working at half capability but if I ask it to do anything major like use really hot water it blows the circuit board. I've had it fixed probably 4 times. Now I just was my dishes by hand and use it as the dish final rinse basket. I've also had the refrigerator worked on by Guinco. I still call them when I have a problem but still not happy about that stupid dishwasher.
