About us
In 1953, eleven Texas Instruments, Inc. (TI) employees pooled five dollars each and petitioned the Texas Banking Commission to establish an organization that would promote thrift and provide low-cost loans to TI employees. Soon after, a charter was granted by the State of Texas and Texins Credit Union was born. Just three months later, at year’s end, membership had grown to over 267 members and assets totaled $6,855.73. A tradition of excellence had begun.

questioned Texans CU why a payment that cleared my back did not get posted until 3 days after it was cleared. This continues to happen and they say they haven' received the money. Then where is it? If the bank cleared the amount from my checking account. I have to submit my payment electronically and it is not the bank faults. It is Texas CU fault. I have not received a late charge, but remember there is interest accruing for 3 days after the payment should have been posted to the loan. Just not a good way to do business. The rate was 2.85% which was good. That's about all I can say good about the loan process and Texans CU.
I do not recommend Texas CU for an auto loan.
