Shower Doors of Dallas

Had several companies give me estimates on a shower enclosure. Shower doors of Dallas was the only one that completely explained everything, from how they measure, to the hardware and, the installation itself. When the installers came it was exactly as was explained., no surprises. The perfect experience!

To start off I put in three call for estimates, two off Craigslist. The firs company never even showed or called, the second company called one hour after our scheduled appointment and said they needed to reschedule. SDOD showed up on time for both the estimate and the install,both crews were professional and clean. I run a plumbing service company and was pleased on my experience, I would even recommend this company to my customers! Good job!!

We are thrilled with our new shower doors.  They did an excellent job at a fair price.  I highly recommend them if you are needing to have your shower doors replaced new or old.

They were on time both for the bid, and the actual work.

When I called to tell them that I wanted them to go ahead with the job, I was informed that it would take approximately 2 weeks to make the shower enclosure.

The shower enclosure was ready in exactly two weeks, and they called to schedule an appointment to install.

Two workers came to do the installation, and they were both very professional and polite. 

One of the tiles that they were drilling the hole for one of the brackets cracked, so the install was put on hold.

The cracked tile was in a place that water would have leaked into the crack, so they informed me that I needed have my tile person out to replace that one tile, before they could finish the install.

I feel that cracking the tile could have happened to anyone doing this install. 

As soon as the tile was replaced, they re-scheduled to finish install and all went well the second time around.

We really love our new glass enclosure, everything about it is beautiful!!!

We had two shower doors replace and two desks fitted with glass tops. Shower doors employees were very professional and polite and friendly. They did an awesome job in our master bathroom shower door. We are very happy with the entire process, from ordering to installation!

From the initial call for the appointment to measure, to the measurement, to the installation...  Everything was top notch!  Very professional employees who knew their stuff!  I am so thankful to Brandon for the suggestions made on lining up the glass to have the best look.  The installation guys (names escape me) were meticulous about their work! 

I also had them measure for a sliding door for a guest bathroom, but Brandon suggested I think long and hard about doing it.  It wouldn't be a good fit for the size of the bathroom.  I can really appreciate a non-pushy salesperson.

Shower Doors of Dallas was professional from the first moment you call to set up a free estimate.  The person providing the estimate was punctual and so was the install team.  The install only took around an hour and was done to a perfectionist standards.  The install team was also very knowledgeable of their products and was able to answer all questions.  They also provided us with care instructions, which was a huge help.

The experience was great from initial appointment and estimate through installation.  Brandon is a rapid-fire salesman who covers all the points and answers questions readily.  Hegave me lots of information about the products, installation process and care.  He measured very carefully since the opening wasn't exactly plumb, and checked the slant on the bottom sill to be sure it would drain properly.  I not only received the Angie's list discount, but also another they currently offered to the public.  I am very happy with the whole process and would recomment them to anyone.  My shower door is beautiful!

Fantastic experience! From the estimator to the installer to the quality of the product and service, the entire process was simple and easy. After a few short days to get the glass in, the actual install happened within a couple of days and you would never have known they were there, except for the spectacular new shower doors. I highly recommend this company and would use again and will recommend to family and friends. Great job!

This is the level of excellence I have come to expect from the companies on Angie's List.  Chente came out and meticulously measured.  During that time, he asked me specific questions about how I wanted the new frameless door and glass to look.  He made suggestions, which I appreciated.  I could tell that he took pride in getting it right the first time.  After all, they were going to have to fabricate the shower door and glass to the exact measurements he took.

The two installers had the same level of professionalism.  After they called me in for inspection, he explained how he "shims his brackets" to avoid the heaviness of the door starting to lean in the future.  Again, meticulous.  He took complete ownership of the installation job - he "shimmed HIS brackets".

I would highly recommend Shower Doors of Dallas to anyone who wants to "go frameless"!

I had two big frustrations with this process. First,  My understanding when I paid extra for the frameless shower door was that my extra $300 expenditure was covering a process that would prevent the glass from spotting.  However, the glass does spot.  When I called the office to discuss, the lady with whom I spoke became very defensive and did not want to have the coversation saying, " i would never have told you that."  The bottom line is that I paid for a product thinking it would do one thing but in actuallity it would not perfom as I had thought.  After I finished speaking with her, I was more frustrated than ever with her bad attitude.  For this reason I will not go back there for another project that I want to complete.
Second,  when the installer came to complete the kitchen backsplash, the measurements were incorrect, so part of the glass would not fit.  This meant that the mirror had to be returned, cut properly and then rescheduled for installation.  As a result, I went for several weeks with half of a mirrored backsplash in the kitchen.

They should have gotten our business since they helped us understand what was available.  They are very busy and all we wanted was a written statement of what they would be providing.  After several iterations where we repeated explained exactly what we wanted but didn't get it, we went with another company that would do that.  It was not something they objected to doing and I'm pretty sure they weren't trying to be deceptive but maybe just too busy.

They were professional and delivered/installed on time.
