RICHARDSON AUTO GLASS

My service was very quick and has worked perfectly. It only took about 50 minutes wait time and actual service. Two technicians worked where I could see them through an open door. They worked consistently but discovered a problem. One of the 5 threaded holes that secure the new device was stripped. The technician asked what I wanted to do. I contemplated taking it back to the auto parts store for replacement but mentioned I wished I had brought my thread locking compound. He said he had some. I asked if he would use it and he would, so we did. The service was completed in less than 15 minutes from then. This was actually the second time I used them in two years. I replaced the back driver side glass in my car two years earlier. When they were working they found a point of contact with metal that may have been the cause of my shattered window. I really appreciate in both services they pointed out a problem for me to make a decision on, when some service places would have let it ride and possibly led to future problems. I recommend them and would use them again.

They we fabulous. The lady that I talked to was very knowledgable. They told me up front that it would be a replacement not a repair. They were prompt and professional.

The work done was very good.  They did a thorough job of cleaning up the broken glass.  Now, a few months later, there have been no issues with leaks or any other problems.  I only paid the insurance deductible.

I was there to have a windshield replaced, they did the work in a timely manner, but upon leaving the shop, I realized that my headliner had been pulled loose in two areas right near where it buts into the windshield.  I brought it back to the shop and told them about it.  When Richard came out and looked at it he told me there was no way that they could have done the damage.  Knowing that it wasn't that way when I took it in, I was shocked that the owner would make such a statement.  It appeared as though they might take care of the problem when the owner exited the shop making a very snide comment about how the could have done something else to the truck also, referring to damage that had happened at a previous date, which I thought was extremely rude and unprofessional.
 I went out to see if they were going to repair the damage and was again told that they weren't responsible for the damage, at which time  I stated that I would deal with it and promptly left.
I highly recommend that you never let these guys touch your vehicle.  The owner is a very rude and unprofessional individual.
I own a service company and there is no way I would ever act in the way he did towards a customer, even if I didn't want to keep that customer.  His comments and unwillingness to accept responsibility for the damage done were completely out of line.  If you want to be treated rudely and have then deny that anything could possibly be their fault then they are the company to see, if you want professional, courteous customer service then avoid this shop.  I can't express enough how badly the owner lacks in his ability to treat customers with respect  and courtesy.

The staff was friendly from the time I called to schedule the service to the end. I took my car to their location, the job was performed within the time estimate given, my windshield stickers were successfully transferred to the new windshield. I'm happy wth the service.

I had a friend who recommended them.  They were great.  We didn't have to wait long. They were very nice and courteous.

My poor car was pummeled w/hail on 5/23 when I was running errands.  Couple days later, guy at Car Spa told me I had a front windshield chip and offered to repair it.  I declined.  Later called my insurance company for a claim and got a couple of auto glass referrals who were horrible.  They missed multiple appointments despite my repeated calls.  Out of frustration, I checked Angie's List on 5/31 and called Richardson Auto Glass.  Marlene was wonderful on the phone and offered to send someone over that afternoon during my requested timeframe between 1:30pm-3pm.  The nice gentleman courtesy called and arrived on time.  He looked at my windshield and told me that I didn't have a chip and that all he could do for me was try to make it look a little nicer.  After he was done, he wouldn't charge my insurance company anything for the claim.  I was surprised and offered to pay a trip fee for their trouble.  He declined.  I believe he was Marlene's son.  Later that afternoon, Marlene called to check and see if I was totally satisfied.  Of course, I said yes and complimented them on their professionalism and responsiveness.  Again, I offered to pay them a trip fee but she refused.

I called and set up an appointment for later that day and after I arrived it only took around 45 minutes to complete the job. They were very professional and had a good price. I will use there service again whenever I need need new auto glass.

Overall, experience went well and I would recommend Richardson's to anyone wanting their windshield replaced.

Received a call back the next business day on my internet inquiry from McKinney branch. They provided me a quote over the phone and we set up an appointment. I chose in-store service vs. the on-site service. I arrived at the specified time, the took the car promptly and begain work. They said it would take about 1 hour. The car was ready on-time and the price matched the quote (plus tax).

They were professional, punctional, effecient and fix the windshield while I waited. I highly recommend them.

The driver side window of my Chevy Avalanche was destroyed as a result of a break-in. They also destroyed the ignition, so I couldn't drive the car to have the glass fixed. I called Richardson Auto Glass, and they came out to my house the next day. They started work as soon as they got there. Kevin was very thorough getting the broken glass out. Within 30 minutes, they had replaced the window, cleaning off all fingerprints before they left. Almost $200 seems like a lot. I've used them before and I trust them, so I didn't comparison shop, much less ask how much it would cost before they got out here. I'm assuming that, because they came to my house, the cost is higher. Also, I asked for a morning appointment, but they showed up at noon. Kevin called me at 9:30am to tell me that it would be noon, so it didn't totally screw up my day.
