The issue was discovered during the weekly service.  The company alerted me to the problem, advised me of the scheduled repair service date, and let me know the current status of the pool.  They arrived on schedule, repaired the problem and restarted the pool circulation system.  Excellent.

They are absolutely wonderful!  The company is very responsive, and our technician is very helpful, accomodating, and knowledgeable.  Another positive is that the company will keep us informed if the technician is running behind or can't make an appointment which we appreciate.  We have used several pool services over the years, and Custom Pool Care is, by far, the best.

We don't really have much interaction with them. They just come, do their thing, and leave a note on the door saying if we need anything or pool needs water.

They have always been responsive and helpful in explaining my options.  They do high quality work and don't oversell their services.  They may be a little higher in cost than some, but for good customer service and reliably good work, it is worth it to me.

We spent about $1800 on the job. They did the work very well. They were in and out within a day. The only thing we were disappointed was with their price. However, it was within the estimate. They were very professional. We will use them again in the future.

Called to get estimate on weekly cleaning and to see why our pool cleaner wasn't working correctly. They sent out a supervisor to give us an estimate on the work needed. We were told it would cost $300+ to fix the pool cleaner, extra to replace some valves, and another $85 for filter cleaning. Then we called another company to get a second opinion and they told us that the pool cleaner was fine, just that the mesh at the connection needed to be cleaned out, which they did for free. They also told us that the valves were working without any problems, no leaks, and did the filter cleaning for $75. We've hired the different company to do our wkly cleaning as well. We would have spent $500+ to do unnecessary fixes if we had not gotten a second opinion. Our pool cleaner is working very well now, even without the fixes Custom told us we needed.

Someone recommended Custom Pool Care to me, and I have been using them year round for almost 5 years. I only have them come every other week because the pool is not heavily used. They always maintain their level of service. Any time I call them, a real person answers the phone. They recently sent me a letter stating a new law has been passed that will require me to get a new drain cover. When I called them for more details, I was told they would put me on a list to change out the drain cover when the water gets warm. If they had changed it at the time I called, I would have had to pay for a diver with a wetsuit. I appreciated the infomation and their saving me the cost of a diver. They have a key to my backyard gate and they come every other Monday normally between 7 and 8 to service the pool. The man that comes to do the servicing leaves a checklist of what he did and any comments on my backdoor. I think their price is reasonable.

OUR PUMP MOTOR BURNED OUT AND WE NEEDED THE FILTER CLEANED. AFTER THINKING ABOUT DOING IT MYSELF AND RESEARCHING PRICING ON REPLACEMENT MOTORS ON THE INTERNET AND LOCAL SUPPLY STORES, WE CALLED CUSTOM. THEIR PRICE INCLUDING LABOR WAS ABOUT THE SAME AS THE PART ONLY AT MANY PLACES WE RESEARCHED. IT WAS A NO BRAINER! THEY CAME OUT WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS AND HAD THE POOL UP AND RUNNING IN ABOUT 2.5 HOURS. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THAT THE PVC PROTECTING THE WIRING FOR THE MOTOR/VALVES HAS A BROKEN ELBOW NOW, WHICH LOOKS VERY TRICKY TO REPLACE. SOME WELL WRAPPED ELECTRICAL TAPE IS AN OK TEMPORARY REPAIR.

NOT PARTICULARLY CAREFUL IN THE CLEANING OF THE POOL, OR MONITORING OF THE FILTER PUMP. ALGAE HAD GROWN ON POOL WALLS SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE SUMMER. WE HAD TO BUY EXTRA CHEMICALS SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE SUMMER, EVEN THOUGH PRICE OF CHEMICALS WAS INCLUDED IN CONTRACT. PRESSURE WAS VERY HIGH IN PUMP, BUT NO ONE AT CUSTOM POOL INFORMED US OF THIS, AND TWO TECHNICIANS HAD BEEN TO OUR HOUSE WORKING ON THE POOL. ALWAYS TRYING TO UP SELL SERVICE, WHICH IS AN EXTRA HOURLY CHARGE.

"WE ARE RESPONDING TO THE REPORT DATED 09/2005, WHICH WE FOUND OUT ABOUT 10/2006. OUR FIRST CONTACT WITH THE MEMBER WAS ON 04/22/05 TO CHECK THE POOL PUMP WHICH WAS NOT WORKING, DRAIN/CHLORINE WASH THE POOL THAT WAS FULL OF ALGAE & CLEAN FILTERS. WORK WAS APPROVED AND TOTAL WORK CAME IN $100 LESS THAN QUOTED & TOTAL PRICE REFLECTED SAVINGS. PRICE INCLUDED CHEMICALS TO BALANCE POOL WATER AFTER REFILLING. AFTER WEEKLY POOL SERVICE WAS STARTED WE FOUND THAT THE MEMBER'S LONG-HAIRED DOGS SWAM IN POOL DAILY, MEMBER WAS INFORMED THAT THERE IS AN ENZYME IN DOG'S BODY THAT WILL QUICKLY DEPLETE THE CHLORINE IN THE POOL AND THAT THE HAIR WILL CLOG THE POOL FILTER. DUE TO THE DOGS IN THE POOL & THE HEAT OF SUMMER, AT TIMES THERE WAS SOME ALGAE IN THE POOL AND THE FILTER PRESSURE WOULD GO UP DUE TO THE DOG HAIR & EXTRA DIRT BROUGHT INTO POOL BY DOGS. ALGAE WAS BRUSHED & TREATED DURING ONCE A WEEK VISIT & POOL FILTER WAS BACKWASHED. NORMALLY WE CHARGE CHEMICALS SEPARATELY WHEN A CUSTOMER HAS DOGS THAT SWIM, IN THIS CASE WE FELT THAT THE ALGAE/CHEMICAL USAGE DID NOT WARRANT SEPARATE CHARGES - NO EXTRA CHEMICAL CHARGES WERE MADE AT ANY TIME. THE ONLY ADDITIONAL CHARGES WERE FOR APPROVED REPAIR OF A PLUMBING LEAK, A NEW SKIMMER WEIR & REPLACING WORN PARTS ON THE POLARIS (AUTOMATIC POOL CLEANER). THE MEMBER HAD TOLD THE SERVICE MANAGER HOW MUCH THEY LIKED THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN. MEMBER WAS UNHAPPY WITH THE ADDITIONAL REPAIR LABOR NEEDED FOR POLARIS & STOPPED SERVICE AT THAT TIME (2 HRS LABOR"
