Onsite & Remote services Charges are $99 an hour for residential service. $35 trip charge (residential clients) Commercial clients $149 per hour. No trip charge.

I have used this company before with no issues. This call was different in the following ways:

1. Tech did nit call before arrival

2. He did not set up the speakers because he did not have the correct cables. Instead of immediately telling me this so I might go buy some, he waited until the very end of the call. No offer was extended to come out again and make it right. I had to call.

3.Printer communication failed shortly after installation. I emailed them to no avail. Since then, I have called numerous times with promises of action and zero results. THEY HAVE NEVER ONCE CALLED ME. The GM seems helpful but delivers NOTHING!!!

These folks are NOT CHEAP. They once seemed very good but something has changed.

NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.........

I previously had Geek Squad visit, he said there was no way to recover emails, still took $ 124.00 for 20 minutes of nothing but said he would have someone who might help get back to me, I then waited for min 30 days for someone to return my call which was an email.  PCHC had already saved the day at that point.  Will definitely use them again.  Thanks!

They offer in home and carry in business. Since they were close, I opted to take my computer in. They charged a flat rate of $39 to diagnose the problem. They found the problem and called me within the hour that it was fixed.

This was a great experience. Matt arrived and got to work. He ran through my list of issues and his explanations were clear. I was delighted. My only complaint was that when I scheduled the service, I was left with the impression that he would arrive at 1 p.m. and be available until 3. It turned out that the 1-3 p.m. appointment was an arrival window. Except for a lack of clarity by the scheduling person, this was a perfect transaction.

I called Monday morning and was given an appt. for Tuesday morning.  The office called when he was on his way. Jessie came and knew exactly what to do with my macbook and router.  He was polite and helpful explaining how things work to me.  I am very impressed.  The price was very reasonable. Its such a pleasure to get such competent services.  I highly recommend this company and I will certainly request for Jessie again, if the need arises.

They are working me really well today. They were good. They were very professional and very responsive. They came out and said what they were going to do. They listened to me thoroughly and told me that they were going to do and did exactly what they said they were going to do. I think if they had gone over a period of time it would have been an additional cost. I will definitely recommend them as they are very knowledgeable, punctual and professional.

For the December 11, 2010 service, Kahn explained the work performed and I did not have any noticiable problems with my computer until February 25, 2011. On March 1, 2011, the technician, Matt Murphy, discovered that the problem was due to the configuration of the Rebit software that PC House Call had installed during the December 11 service. Although software installed and improperly configured by PC House Call caused the problem with my computer they charged me an additional $48 to correct the problem. The technicians were responsive, punctual and professional. The ratings apply to the company management and business practices.

"My name is Warren Lewis and I'm the General Manager of PC House Call. You and I spoke last weekend regarding some additional questions/problems you were having and I hope I was able to help you out. I apologize for the problems you had related to your service call, and I wish I had a great reason as to why things happened. However in your case it looks like we just dropped the ball on this one which is by no means an excuse. I'm refunding you charge for the 2nd service call as that should have been warrantied regardless of the fact is was outside our normal 30 day warranty on labor. The issue with Rebit is one we just have really started seeing and any client of ours who is on that software will be warrantied for that fix in the future. It is always tough as the software bugs are out of our control, but we stand behind our work and I do not want anyone to become frustrated, and rightfully so, over computer issues for a program we installed. I hope you'll consider using us again so we can prove to you that this was the exception and not our normal way of doing business. You should be seeing your refund issued in the next couple of days. I'm also sending you a gift card for one free hour of service. We thank you for your business and hope we can continue to serve you in the future."

They are very professional. They come in and they don’t waste any time. They listen to you. They work by time. So, however long they are it takes them to solve whatever problem you have, it is how they bill you. They are very good about billing you according to how much time they work. I think that they are little expensive. They come to your house or you can also take your product to their location.

Technician Matt Murphy came even earlier than expected (I received a call asking if that was okay). He found the problem in the anti-virus program; got rid of all the problems caused by it; explained several different anti-virus programs I could use; I selected the one I wanted and he installed it immediately. My computer has not run this good in years. Matt was fun to work with and he explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He made sure I understood the new software he loaded; and he answerd all my questions. I've already recommended him and this company to a friend of mine who is having problems with her computer. I felt the price was very fair for the amount of work done. I am completely satisfied.

After a comprehensive diagnostic on both computers, we learned that my husband's PC was about to fail. Mine, on the other hand, is now performing better than ever. A lot of unnecessary stuff was removed, a new very inexpensive virus protector was installed on our two PCs and our laptop, and a new back up system was recommended. We have a couple of recommendations for replacing my husband's computer which we will do right after Christmas. Our networking system had stopped and the technician fixed that. We intend to subscribe to their monthly service. This is a highly competent company--from the person who answers the phone to the in-house support people to the house-call technician. We feel like we have finally found--after several years of picking the wrong person--our perfect solution. They deliver and the price is worth it.

They were really good. The price he charged was good. They were able to do the work and did not give any excuses. They stayed open late for me. They could not recover the complete data though. They gave a lot of information as well.

Dustin Strain was diligent in locating the issue (which our internet provider had misdiagnosed). And was patient with me even though I didn't know a lot of the necessary password information! He answered my questions in a manner I could understand and was willing to explain as much or as little as I wanted to know. He reprogrammed our system to make it easier to access the wireless internet in case we have future issues.

After speaking with Ryan on the phone i can tell that they were great at communicating what was going on with the computer and their expertise in computers was evident. I inititally dropped off the CPU at the office in Richardson for a diagnostic and they solved some problems there but it really was a situation where they had to bring it back home to finish the job so they scheduled me with Khan from 1-3. *It would have been nice to know that the window of time alotted is a window of arrival time, not just work time. **My time stamp shows the concierge called at 2:20 with his arrival. He promply started once he arrived and finished at 3:30 but the final invoice reflected his start time as 1:50 and finish time at 3:33.

I found out my laptop had a virus on a Saturday that prevented me from opening any programs or opening my web browser and also prompted me to purchase some ani-virus software. Luckily I researched the situation on my other computer to find out this was a virus trying to steal my information. I found PC-House Call on Angies List and gave them a call on Saturday morning - they provided me the option of bringing the computer in or having someone come out to my house. They were booked on Saturday already, so I setup an appointment for one of their techs to come to my house Monday evening. They provided a 2 hour window and the tech called 30 minutes ahead to let me know he was on the way. Nathan arrived Monday evening and after I gave him the background, he quickly went to work. About 1 hour later, the virus was completely removed and he went through my start programs to see if we could further improve the performance of the laptop. And finally, he changed the settings on my wireless printer which had been dropping from the wireless network - to a static IP address. Nathan was very professional and efficient. This was the first time I have used such a company and it went as well as anyone could expect. Nathan then gave me some advice on some other questions I had about upgrading to Windows 7, NAS equipment and computer performance - I will not hesitate to call PC-House Call to assist with these future setups and/or issues I have.
