Description of Work: I purchased my own full HVAC Heatpump system from Florida, and Prosper Air installed and charged it up. Since they are licensed, my warranty is honored by the manufacturer. I saved about $1000 by doing it that way. However, I have to deal with the distributor/manufacturer directly in warranty cases since I am the purchaser of the system.

Description of Work: One of our A/C units went out on Labor Day weekend. Of several companies we called they were the first to respond. They came and diagnosed the problem very quickly and were happy to explain how everything worked. Got a second opinion just to be sure and Prosper Air was much more cost effective. They installed a new condenser and air was back on in less than a week. Great to work with and very professional and nice. Didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need and were very honest people. No need to use anyone else when it comes to AC work.

Description of Work: AC had frozen. Outside unit made pinging sound. Told me I was low on Freon, and compressor was on the brink. He helped me with warranty. Got me a new compressor. Only charged for labor. Very honest. Did not try to push or sell anything. Gave me options and a plan. AC has worked great. Another company wanted to replace entire 7 year old system.

 + -1 moreHe is great. We just received our insurance money and he is going to come back and re-quote since we are going to do some work than initially planned. We are also planning to switch to a propane furnace and remove the old system while we are at the job. He came and met with the insurance company too if they wanted some more information. He even called me last week just to check whether we received the insurance money. He is most likely to do the work. He has actually done a great job with the quote.
Description of Work: Prosper Air gave us a quote for replacing the condenser on our air conditioning that got damaged by hail.

 + 0 moreMy home upstairs A/C system had multiple issues. I called Prosper Air late on a Sunday evening (Mother's Day) and they arrived at my house 20 minutes later! Because of the complexity of the issues, it took more than a week to fully repair my system. Prosper Air made the experience as painless as possible, even going so far as to beat up the A/C manufacturer to make sure that as much of the repair cost as possible were covered by warranty. Prosper Air communicated promptly and often about the state of the repair job. All-in-all I would give my highest recommendation for this company to anyone living in the North Dallas area.
Description of Work: Full A/C inspection. Replacement of blower fan. Replacement of condenser and filter unit. Replacement of A/C coolant. Warranty advocacy with manufacturer.
