06/30/20 - My name is Steve MacMeeken, and I am the owner of the Southern Painting Plano/Allen/McKinney office. Southern Painting has been successfully serving your area since 1989. We have used Southern Painting on various occasions over the last 20 years and would never consider using any other company - they specialize in residential painting and only use high-quality paint. When we moved to an existing home in McKinney, we planned everything with Christian and he walked us through everything and was great in his communication with us, before-during-after the job. William was the crew Supervisor and he and his crew painted the outside of our 1.5 story home. Additionally, they cleaned, sanded, primed, and painted the 350-foot wrought iron fence around our property. They were prompt, meticulous, providing detailed workmanship. I was home the entire 2-days, and they worked tirelessly in making sure everything was done with excellence. I always wait a few weeks before writing a review, and we are not surprised with the continued expertise and pleasure of working with Southern Painting. Be sure to ask for Christian, and William and his crew ... WELL DONE!

We had a great personal experience with Southern Painting. They painted our exterior awhile back and just painted our interior which required A LOT of furniture moving/covering and prep work. They did an excellent job. They were very meticulous. The price was competitive. The company has been in business for over 30 years and the crews have been with the company 25+ years. The company is insured and bonded. This definitely gave me peace of mind. I hired them based on their strong references. Ask for Christian. Christian and his crews will not disappoint!

The Southern painting team (Eric, Christian, and Luis) were outstanding. No gimmick sales pitch or deception in what was promised. Prep work was completed with upmost care -pressure washing, caulking, replacing moist boards, protecting landscape, etc. Painting quality was very professional.

I've never been more motivated to write a review about a company. Southern Painting is the real deal! We obtained 8 bids for our home painting project. When Alexis from Southern Painting came by, I told my husband that night that I really hoped they would give us a reasonable bid because I was so impressed with him personally. He was warm, professional, and knowledgeable. I knew I would feel comfortable placing the project in his hands. They weren't the lowest bidder or the highest bidder, but they were fair and reasonable with their bid. I'm so glad we went with them! Alexis and his team were prompt the morning of. Alicin, Nicholas, and Daniel made a fabulous team! They got right to work, taping the trim and covering the floors to protect them. They worked carefully, and wasted no time. Even when we switched paint colors mid-stream, they didn't blink an eye. We were very impressed with their work in the end! Can't say enough about Alexis, this team of painters, and this company! Outstanding. We will use them again!

They came when they said they would. I'm going to use them again for the interior. They were fast and they did what they said they were going to do. It took 2 days - one day to prep and the next day to paint. It's a 2 story house which is mostly brick. I thought it was awesome. I've never seen prep work like they did. They had all that paper taped to the house so it didn't get on the brick. I couldn't believe that and I hoped it wouldn't rain with all that paper and tape on the house. They cleaned up and you would never have known they were there. They were fine and I plan on using them again. They were highly recommended to me.
