I & M Remodeling

It was horrible.  He was the messiest person I've ever had work on my house.  They left garbage on my property all the time.  He wouldn't clean up at the end of the day.  The job he did was so bad on the flooring I've had to pay another guy $10,000 to come fix it.

They started in September and were supposed to be through before Thanksgiving but noooo... It was mid January and we spent Christmas in one bedroom.  No decorations or way to cook because of the plastic on the walls and furniture.  They got paint on light fixtures and furniture, drilled holes in our bath light fixture because they didn't know how to install it.  Opened food packages in my pantry and ate it.  It was miserable.  I tried to file with the BBB but they sent it to El Paso where he had worked/lived.  He was rated an F there.   I have problems with the shower, plumbing, paint and the wood floor. We are afraid of the fireplace they moved. He runs the payments through his 20 year old son and uses his name. He was constantly late or a no-show. I had to supply some hand tools because they came unprepared, then they took my tools when they left as well as some of the materials I bought. The only good thing is he hired a sub contractor to install the travertine floor and he did a good job.  The only problem with the Travertine guy is that Mike (our contractor) didn't pay him and they had a major confrontation in our living room that left me hiding in the back bedroom.

He is an absolute rip-off.  He came out and did half of the work and never showed up again.  The job was supposed to be done in about a week and half, and it has been almost three months.  When we try to contact him to finish the job, he gives excuse after excuse after excuse, but never actually follows through, and the job is still unfinished.

The little work he has done, has proven to be incorrect by other, more competant contractors, so it will have to be done again.

He is very reliable and very good at what he does with floor installation. I would highly recommend him. My experience was good. He does work out of two different areas, but he will make sure that you are taken care of as soon as possible.
