Award winning. Owner operated. Nancy offers a free, in-home consultation for prospective clients so that she can see the problem area(s )and answer homeowner's questions. Each actual organizing session is subject to a 4-hour minimum. Additional time is prorated based on the hourly rate of $65/hr. Payment is due at the end of each appointment. Payment methods include cash, check, Zelle, Venmo or PayPal. Helping Hands is happy to offer a referral bonus of a free 5th hour for you after your referral completes their first 4-hour appointment. We organized my master closet. Once she listened to my thoughts, she had suggestions that I had not thought of. She was wonderful to work with and the time spent was like having a friend over verses hiring a person to do a job. My closet turned out beautiful and it is easy to find what I want, and to keep it maintained. We spent 3.5 hours. Well worth my money!

Nancy is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We look forward to working with her in the future. We had to modify the meeting time because of a doctor's appt that ran long and Nancy was very accommodating, so even though she said the time she spent with us would be considered an estimate and would be free, we felt that her time was definitely valuable and decided to pay her for her work.

Awesome experience.  This was the first time I ever had professional organization done.  I am actually really good at it myself so never thought I'd benefit from using someone to help me out with my paper catastrophe.  At this point in my life I was completely overwhelmed and had a number of new categories of paperwork so decided to call in Ms. Peham.  The one hard thing was mentally preparing for her arrival because you do need to know what you want to do.  That may sound intuitive, but when you are in over your head you sometimes can't focus on that.
I had a pretty good idea of my general needs, but since this was all such a change from what I had done in the past I actually felt lost.  Ms. Peham swooped in and, because I asked, told me exactly what to do.  What a relief to not be the one driving the bus for once!  As difficult as it was to work through the papers, when I was told "here's where you put keepers...here's the pile for questionable things...here's the trashcan for junk," it made the whole thing tolerable.
I ended up with perfect files with labels created according to my specific needs, as well as lots of stuff in the trash (but it was all stuff that "should" be tossed -- it is comforting to have someone tell you it's okay to throw it away, you know?)  I wanted to save money by not buying the entire Container Store suite of storage products, so other creative ways to group things were utilized.
Overall I was thrilled, and paper organization is the hardest because YOU have to be so utterly involved.  I would hire her again in a second to take over any project I need help with.

Good.  Overall she knows her stuff and wants to make it all happen when she's there.  Do use the service if you need help consolidating stuff.  But use common sense first, then call her.  Don't get your hopes up that you'll have manna from heaven with the secret to un-clutter your house and someone else is going to do all of teh work for you.

I spoke with Nancy to set a date and time. She came by for a free initial consultation and discussed her suggestions and how she thought we should approach things. I gave her a tour of my house so she could see other storage options and she had some good ideas of where things could be placed. Her rates were $50/hour with a 4- hour minimum. We both felt we could do the space in this amount of time. Not only was my closet disorganized, but the room itself was in disorder.
Nancy arrived on the date and started right in. She did a lot of the stair climbing to place objects in their new home. She organized my space based on the craft and supplies so that it was a logical layout. I had many storage boxes already labeled and in place. Many of the things I had were fine, but some items were stored in storage boxes that could be better utilized and more appropriately categorized.
At the end of the 4 hours I was exhausted. The closet looked soooo much better, the room was a little improved. By the end of the four hours I was too tired to work any longer. Even though the room itself was not where I wanted it to be, I decided to see if I could get it straightened up myself since the closet was perfectly done. I definitely think Nancy was a help in getting my things organized. She helped me determine what to keep and what to give away. I plan to have her come again when I get ready to do my garage, which will probably be an all day event.

I contacted Nancy Peham the owner of Helping Hands about organinzing my elderly sister's new home following her relocation to the area. The furniture and boxes had been delivered from the move but due to my sisters poor health and our family's schedules the unpacking and organinzing was painfully slow. Nancy after gathering information about the size and objectives of the job said she could help. She did a tremendous job of organizing and working with my sister. I could not and my sister and her daughter could not have been happier. It took several sessions but it was a large job and Nancy did a great job of keeping me informed as to time estimates and her costs as well as any additional organization items

She arrived a few minutes early and called me to see if it was alright to go ahead and start or she would wait until the scheduled time.  She worked fast and did a good job in assisting me in what to keep and throw away.   She worked with what I already had to organize drawers and pantry.  I would recommend her services.

Nancy arrived punctually and started out by asking questions about what exactly needed to be done. I showed her the main problem areas, and she assessed the situation. We started in the home office. She made suggestions about a plan of attack, then she worked steadily and stayed with it. She was calm and personable while still getting the job done. My main problem was getting to the next level; I had felt like I was stuck organizationally in our home, but Nancy helped me get unstuck!

Nancy Peham, of Helping Hands Personal Sevices is outstanding. She is extremely organized and efficient. 

I called Nancy to come over and provide an estimate for helping me prepare to move out of state. She schedule the appointment and showed up promptly at the designated time. After review of the work needed to be done, we agreed on a date and time to get started.

Again, Nancy arrived on time and prepared to work. She does not waste any time and is extremely organized and efficient.  She has been over several times, to help me, and each time, she is able to accomplish a tremendous amount of work.

Nancy assesses the needs and knows what materials are required to get the job done. She will inform you of what to purchase, or she is willing to get it for you. Her professional packing skills are incredible. I will have long distance movers coming for my things on 7/11, but I am confident that they have been well packed, and are secure for the long trip out West.

I still have several more hours worth of work that I will ask her to come take care of for me, while I continue to work.

Every dollar I have paid Helping Hands and every dollar I will pay them in the next week, has been, and will be, well worth it. I am on a tight timeline to be moved out of my house, and packed to move across the country, while maintaing a 40 hour/week job. I could not have accomplished it without Nancy's excellent skills, and professionalism.

I would not hesitate to recommend Nancy to anyone. Don't wait until you have to move, call her now to get your home organized and clutter-free. You'll be so glad you did.

She has been here several times. She is good and efficient. She keeps at it. I get anxious when dealing with paper and I wanted somebody that would really, really help me feel calm about it and that doesn't happen. I feel like stress gets to me. That’s the criticism that I would have of her. I don’t think I will continue to use her.

Nancy came in and gave me her estimate. She took a look at my junkie closets (which are rather small) and let me know that I needed to clean up the floor before we started work in a couple of weeks. When she got here to start working she went right to work in the closet by pulling out things and asking if they were needed. We then moved on to the other two closets and finally the bathroom cabinets. I felt completely overwhelmed but she kept pushing at it and kept me going. If it hadn't been for her I would have quit! I wound up giving up six LARGE garbage bags of stuff to donation and about three bags of just trash! My mornings run so much smoother now. Everything has a place and it's easy to get to. I'm so happy with the results and will hire her again to work on the kitchen and garage.

This was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anybody! Nancy was a pleasure to work with, showed up on time, worked with my schedule, willing to work as long as needed to get the job done. She was extremely organized and brought all needed supplies. Working with her, we were able to accomplish an extraordinary amount of results in a surprisingly small amount of time. As a reformed pack rat living in a small house and who inherited 2 houses worth of stuff, I had a lot to sort through. She was always kind and respectful of any attachments I might have had to items while still asking effective questions and helping me decide what to keep, to toss and to donate. Even when cleaning my incredibly dirty garage on a hot day, she remained pleasant, cheerful and fun to work with. Best money I've spent in a long time. I am thrilled with the results and will continue to hire Nancy for other projects as needed.
