phoned Efficient and Rocky came out within the hour -- remember this is
Sunday late afternoon. The compressor was shot.
Rocky reviewed our options; the costs and benefits of different models.
He located a condenser
and returned with a co-worker to install it. It was now dark and soon
thunderstorms rolled in. I went out to check on them on they were working away, sheltered by the cardboard that the compressor had come in.Rocky and Victor worked through the rain and
our a/c was functioning again by midnight.
They returned a week later to
check the refrigerant levels (which needed to be topped off) and measure
the air temperature at every duct.

The venting of the bathroom fans and dryer vent were not the quality that we expected based on the price The dryer vent was replaced twice do to inappropriate material. Mr. Rivera explained that running dryer vents and bathroom vents were quoted as a curtesy opposed to the line of business his company is in. I wish that would have been told to us upfront and prevented hard feelings and costly mistakes on both sides. I recommend to have all work spelled out based on materials, design, cost and time required to complete the job.
"When our customers are not satisfied, I am not satisfied. Apparently, we may have more work to do to complete your home improvement project to your standards and mine. I will be happy to come and meet with you in person to address your concerns. We did quote a higher than normal price for your projects due to couple circumstances. The first one being the stability of the attic floor itself and the second being the wooden shingle particles throughout the insulation needing to be vacuumed. These two factors added additional time, labor to the project and potential of damage to our vacuum. I will check with Manuel to confirm however I show we were on site for 2+ days. I know you were in the middle of several projects while we were on site, so it may have been hard for us to tell what mess was ours, this is usually never an issue. I am very concerned about the vent pipe and comment on insulation in the eaves not vacuumed out. I would like to see this in person, via pictures if available and or documentation from the source you mentioned. Please let me know when you are available. David Rivera 972-235-2600"
