Early Bird Tree Service

I was very pleased with their work. They were very courteous and easy to work with. Everything went lovely and I plan to use them in the future.

Went well. Ground the stumps well. Pulled up 2 sprinkler heads in the process. I put those in later.

Early Bird performed a great job. Did the job on the day he said he would on inspection everything was great. I will use this company in the future and now plan on regular upkeep of my trees as my experience with other companies has been spotty and difficult to get the other companies to come out. Early Bird experience was a good experience and pleased with the service.

Terry came over while I was out of town and pruned and trimmed four trees. He did a great job.

I called for an estimate and Terry, the owner, came to see what I wanted done and gave me a price. I had him come back a second time since I added a few more items to the list. His 3 men came and worked very hard. They did most of the work requested, hauled the branches and plants off and cleaned up the areas where they worked. I was a little disappointed that the price more than doubled from the original price; I understand that I added 2 trees to be cut down, their stumps ground, and ivy removed, but they also did not remove half of the plants in the front yard that had been part of the deal.

I sent email approx 1 month ago. He called and scheduled work to be done on May 10. No one came. In discussion with him, he was behind and never reset the work time. He was advised there was poison ivy in area and was looking to get worker not allergic to it.

Terry and his crew arrived on time ready to work. We had signed up for the Angie's List special and asked that they spend the entire time working on a large Bradford Pear tree in the corner of our backyard. The tree is nearly 20 years old and I knew from past experience that these trees are very susceptible to wind damage. They took several larger branches and many smaller ones all of the way to the top. They took the time to shape the tree nicely and this made a huge difference in its appearance. Finally, they also trimmed a young Chinese Pistachio in our front yard. We are very pleased with their work on both trees and would definitely call them again.

The provider made 3 appointments, he actually showed up to one of them, although late, blew off the other 2. He said he was going to do the work on a particular day and time, he never showed up. He seemed very confused about what he was doing when he did show up that one time. An unprofessional outfit in my opinion. In the end he was not willing to honor his Angies List deal. I will keep looking for another tree trimmer. I'm surprised this flaky guy is on Angies List, very unusual.

Service provider was unprofessional on phone during initial contact. Did not call on day of scheduled appointment to give a time he would arrive, nor did he ever show up. I had to make contact and cancelled service.

The trees were on two separate properties. I had one estimated for limbing before, and I thought it was a ridiculous quote so I just lived with. The other tree I had been having my lawn guy who does light trimming limb up for about $30/yr but that meant just continually cutting down one stubborn branch every year as it kept growing into the street lamp. The rest of the tree was getting mangy looking. The trees were due for a trim, and I couldn't put it off anymore. The $199 big deal from Angie's looked attractive and I was going to buy 2, but when I called Terry to check his availability before I bought it, he came out to estimate the work and actually gave me a much better deal. His crew went to work right away. They were very efficient, knew what they were doing, cleaned up, and the trees look great now. Definitely worth the money, and I highly recommend them. One note, if you want to save some money, schedule the tree work for the day before bulk trash pickup in your area and plan to bundle the cut down limbs yourself for haul away. I didn't want to mess with it, so I paid for Terry to haul it away, but it would have saved me a lot of money had I been willing to handle this part myself. Note: I paid $200 for each tree. And it was worth it.

The provider was prompt in responding to the order, but when I spoke with him, I found our that stump grinding was not included in the offer.

It took a little while to schedule the service, but 3rd time was a charm. Terry's crew was very professional did excellent work work. They did not give me any chance to point anything out, as everything was taken care of, as it should be the case. They worked over the allocated time that they were paid for. I was so impressed that I actually tipped the crew on my own. They cleaned up well after the job. I'll recommend them highly.

We had called Terry on Sunday and he came out and quoted us a price that evening. We were pleasantly surprised that he could come back on Monday to do the job. Everything went well. Terry shaped the trees as promised and they look great! I would recommend Early Bird Tree Service. Terry was very professional, kind, and took care of the customer.

It went very well! I would definitely use them again and I would recommend their services. They came out went right to work, cleaned up and hauled it all off. Very pleased with their services.

We are so completely happy. We have lived in our home for 23 years and had our trees trimmed numerous times through the years. This is the best our trees have ever looked. Early Bird Tree Service was fantastic! Our trees look like works of art. They were professional, finished in a timely manner and cleaned up perfectly. On top of all that, the price was very reasonable. We will recommend them to everyone we know.

They returned on a timely basis (a few days later) to pull all the debris to the collection point. I considered the price fair and would use them again. My only criticism is that the paperwork side of the business was a bit informal.

I called Terry @ Early Bird on Friday around noon. He came out on Friday evening and provided me with an estimate to cut down a tree and grind the stump. I needed this tree cut down a.s.a.p. as it was an eye sore. After we spoke on Saturday morning, and I notified him that he had the job; he did the work that same evening. Early Bird provided very quick, reasonable service.

Contacted Terry after read the service reviews from Angie's . Terry's team was in front of the tree within 35 min and did a wonderful job to take down the broken bushes, and cleaned up the pieces for city to pick up , it was a job well done.

Terry and his crew did an excellent job, he arrived when he told me he was going to, he gave me an assessment of the work i needed to have done, as well as other work he was willing to do. His crew was very knowledgeable, and ensured that they cleaned up any mess that was made from the tree trimming. I would highly recommend Terry and his crew for any of your tree trimming or removal needs.

Terry was extremely professional and punctual to work with. With in just a few days of receiving the quote, he was ready to start the work. I will definitely use his again and recommend his service to others.

I told Terry that I could not beleive how fast he arrived, he turned and pointed to the side of his truck with "Early Birds" painted on it. He did an exceptional job at a fair price. He will have to come back and grind out the stump as he did not have his grinder with him.

We called several Tree Service businesses when our Bradford Pear tree split down the middle due to the ice storm. Part of the tree limbs were resting on part of our roof and the other part was brushing over the sunroom roof. Terry actually answered the phone when I called. He came out the next day, at the time he said he would be here, and was able to have his crew return the same day to have the tree removed. The crew did a very good job, were very careful on removing the portions per the roof, and they cleaned up afterwards. The price was fair. We greatly appreciated his prompt service and attention. We would definitely use his company in the future.

Outstanding service. Terry did exactly what he said he and his crew would do and for the agreed price. We had several quotes well in excess of the $600 for the front yard. His crew completed the backyard and pool area for the additional $200 which was well worth the price. Saved me many hours to do the same tasks. And he hauled away all of the cuttings. Terry and his crew were efficient, well coordinated and thorough. i would highly recommend Early Bird Tree Service (and have) to friends and neighbors.

The actual cost was slightly higher than original estimate. According to Terry, he forgot to include part of the work in the estimate. But he did a very good job and I am very happy with the end result. I thought about replacing 2 trees in my front yard. After the service, they look great.
