Job completed on schedule and budget. Skilled pros did a very good job. Easy to work with and accommodating to my schedule. They got me a rebate from Carrier and from Oncor to help with the cost.

Dana was knowledgeable, honest, and a pleasure to work with. I needed a completely new HVAC system for a total remodel. I replaced the old system that was housed in a closet and ducted under the house with a new system housed and ducted in the attic. I contacted four companies to come out and bid the project. I settled on DT Air because they provided the most competitive and honest bid. Most companies were dishonest or dismissive about the Oncor rebate but DT Air was completely straightforward. The owner Dana was hands on from the initial appointment through installation and activation. He assessed my needs and followed through to ensure those needs were met. As a novice acting as my own general contractor I truly appreciated Dana’s professionalism. Dana even registered my Trane products for me and sent me the registration confirmations. I’ve recommend DT Air to my friends and family and they’ve all had great experiences.

I waited a few weeks to write my review so I can provide a comprehensive assessment of the system that was put in. Overall I thought DT Air Conditioning and Heating did an excellent job on the project. I initially sought bids from 3 local providers found on Angie's list and DT provided the most competitive bid out of all of them. Dana was helpful, informative, and his bid was detailed enough for me to make an apples to apples comparison with each bid, as well as providing information for me to do my own due diligence and research online. DT gets extra credit for their transparent pricing and for providing an estimate that showed BOTH the manufacturer rebate AND Oncor rebate. They actually did all the rebate paperwork for me and mailed me the Oncor check a few weeks later. I eventually went with a Carrier system they recommended and am very happy with its performance after 6 weeks. Only hiccup on the project was that it took the team past midnight to finally configure the system to work correctly, which shouldn't have taken that long. It looks like the initial config was setup wrong with the dampeners on the new system. Even though the system worked fine over the weekend, I asked Dana to come out the week after to double check the team's work himself and he gladly did it. He inspected the system and it was fine, but made a few tweaks just to optimize performance. All in all A+ service and great value for what DT was able to deliver and the price that I paid.

Except for the pain in my already strained finances, the experience was awesome. The young technician "Z", was courteous, down to earth and friendly. Knowledgeable at diagnosing, and suggesting the proper repair ( look for and fix the leak the proper way). I do appreciate that DT AC was willing to work with me on the service and cost. 6lbs $475 R22 Freon, plus $79 service. June 2017, both AC units topped off. Will work with them again, thanks,

I have called Dana, the owner, twice in the last 9 months, both times on a Saturday, the first on Fourth of July weekend. In both cases, he was there within two hours and had the problem solved within 30 minutes. On the second call, the part had failed. Dana replaced the part free of charge on both the part and the service. He topped off the Freon, which I was happy to at least pay him something.

Extremely satisfied with new unit (very quiet), price, and work done. Dana is very trustworthy and straight with you. This is the second central air system he has installed for us.

The work was done on time, professionally and to specifications.

Went Great ..... Dana took out the old Trane unit installed "vertically" and installed the new Carrier "horizontally" like it should have been done by the builder.

Of all the quotes we obtained, DT was the most competitive. Not only was the price less than what others had quoted, the owner Dana was extremely attentive to our needs, and he promptly answered every question we posed to him - not one of our emails went unanswered; we opted for the Carrier Inifinity. The installation team arrived precisely on time on our scheduled day, and they worked all day until the job was finished and our new units were up and running. The house is noticeably less humid, and thanks to the additional air returns they installed for us, it feels much more balanced between the different areas. Our purchases qualified us for Oncor rebates, and DT refunded the money to us very promptly. [I recommend making sure your prospective HVAC provider is signed up with the Oncor program so that you get those rebates - they're paid to the companies, not the homeowners.] We are extremely happy with our new systems - yes, it's a lot of money to spend, and we put it off as long as we could, but in TX, air conditioning is a necessity, so hopefully our new units will last a long time (we got the extended labor warranties just in case). We would not hesitate to recommend DT Air to anyone!

Came out and inspected. Said the coil needed to be replaced at a cost of $1200. Added 2 lbs of gas to keep it cooler. I later had Crow's Heat & Air come out and they said there was no way to see if the coil was bad without taking it out. Crow's found a leak at the unit and again added gas. Jason from Crow's is very honest. DT did not tell me the truth and I would not use them again!

The service technician (Zee) found the problem right away. The drain was clogged. He unclogged the drain and cleaned the fins on the exterior unit. Zee was very professional and knowledgeable.

Dana was honest and competitive. A few minutes on the phone or in person will confirm he knows what he is talking about. His crew is very good and efficient. He got me an additional Energy credit that none of the other bidders acknowledged. Definitely recommend this company.

I called Dana in the morning and he came out the same day to look at my AC. He determined that I did not need to have my coil replaced.
