From start to finish a most pleasant experience. The receptionist was knowledgeable, kind caring and very efficient.  Just a wonderful young lady. She gave me a window of time and then called me back to let me know the plumber was 20 minutes from my home . He arrived in 15 minutes and got right to work. Check the lines, shut of water and fixed everything very quickly, excellent service and knowledgeable plumber with very pleasant personality. Service with a smile. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Great job.

I called Classic Plumbing on a Saturday morning to check their availability on unclogging the main drain in my house.  We were not able to use any of our bathrooms.  They game me an estimated time of 2:00 that day.   Bill from Classic showed up at 2:30.  I received a call from Classic at 2:00 telling me he we on his way.  When Bill arrived and we talked about the situation, Bill was able to figure out the drain configuration (the house was build with septic tanks and converted to city sewer) and unclogged the drain.  He was very professional and pleasant to work with.  Overall, Classic and Bill did an excellent job.  We not have all of our bathrooms back up and running.

Facet pipe had split due to freezing and pipe need to be replaced.  Work was done quickly and to my satisfaction.  Company showed up when they said they would and performed the work I ask for.  I did not request a quote and thought the price was a little high.  That is my fault for not asking for a quote.  Would use them again in the right situation as they were very professional and did what they said they would do.

They always seem  to send someone who knows what they are doing. That's why we stay with them. One time we went with someone different and they were lousy, they couldn't even put the faucets together. We always go with Classic Plumbing.  They are very helpful. They stand by what they do. He explained to me the expected life of a water heater in Plano because of our water. He explained everything very good.

The ratings I provided are based on the whole experience and not the final work/cost. It took three trips by Classic Plumbing to get our slab leak in half-bath fixed. On the first trip, which was on a Saturday, the first plumber identified that I had a slab-leak as well as looking for another way to route around the leak. (The alternative was to go through the attic, which is not possible for our half-bath.) However, he did not have the tools to fix the leak and stated that we would have to wait until Monday. He confirmed with his boss that they could have a crew out on Monday to fix the leak, so we dealt with not having hot water for the weekend. The first plumber wrote specifically on the receipt that the next plumber would need to bring a chipper or jack hammer and charged us $185.83. On Monday morning, no one showed up, so we contacted the company to find out when they would be at the house. We were told that another plumber would be at the house around noon, but that we would get a call 20 minutes prior. At 12:30, I again contacted the company to find out a status. I was told that, the second plumber had just called in and he was on his way. He showed up at 12:50. The second plumber then spent the next hour using specialized equipment to locate the exact location of the leak, which ended up being in our master closet that backs up to the half-bath. The second plumber also looked for another way to reroute through the attic. However, after locating the location, he states that he will be back tomorrow. I ask why he was not going to fix the leak as promised and was told that they do not perform jack hammering in the afternoon, and he was only there to identify the location. (None of this was told to me prior to the Monday appointment or when the second plumber showed up on Monday) I then contacted the company, where I was told that they always do a confirmation so that they do not dig in the wrong location. I asked why I was not informed prior to second appointment, and was told that they made a mistake. Thus, we had to wait until 8:30 am Tuesday. On Tuesday, rather than showing up at 8:30, I receive a call from the owner stating, that the cost of the job will be $3400.00 and that it will take three days, due to braking up concrete, pulling a permit, fixing the leak, and patching the hole. After asking what it would cost to route around the leak, since my wife and I were 95% sure we found the other end of the pipe and a faster path, we were met with disbelief and were told that they would have to confirm our finding. Nonetheless, the owner called back shortly with a new quote of $1600.00. I agreed and was told that the second plumber would be at our house after he loads up the needed equipment. During this time, I cut the back out of my wife’s vanity and could actually see the pipe. I called the owner back to express my find and asked if the price could further be reduced, since I located the pipe and I could open the wall up for the reroute. I only had to cut out a 6 inch wide 8 feet long section of sheetrock. The owner stated that, if I was correct on the location and I were to perform some of the work, he would work with me after the job was complete. When the second plumber showed up, he confirmed that we had found the other end of the pipe and agreed that the reroute would work. Just 3 hours later, the slab-leak had been routed around and we had hot water again. After packing up his tools and spending more than 20 minutes in his truck on the phone and writing up the receipt, my final cost was $555.08, without ever hearing from the owner. While the work done by the second plumber was of high quality, the path to getting my leak fixed was made more difficult by the company’s lack of communication and cooperation. Thus, I will not use them again.

After the tile contractor (also on AL) got everything to the studs
Classic came in and installed the new fixtures, raised the drain pipe
which had settled and repaired/replaced a crack in the vent stack.
It took 3 hours, the plumber worked hard, got the work and repairs made and all was fine.
Thisis my 3rd experience with Classic in the last year.  I'm pleased, they
will handle all my plumbing needs and I highly recommend them.

Classic Plumbing was recommended to me by my neighbor, who had used them on a large repair job recently.  We contacted them regarding our leaking toilet, and they arranged to have a plumber arrive the following day.  The work was peformed quickly and efficiently.  The pricing was very fair for the amount of time that was spent on the job.

The Service man came out and looked at the problem, then told us he did not have his jack hammer with him. He used a chisel to knock out some of the concrete around the pipe then sort of shoved the solder in the hole and made the repair.
We then noticed that the drain to the street was clogged. Again he said he did not have the proper tool but called and they came out about 1/2 later with the auger, and cleared the drain.
After he left I noticed that water was leaking around the solder connection and called. It was late friday and they said they would be out Monday. On Monday he came out with the correct tools jackhammered the concrete out, soldered on a new piece of pipe that extended to the drain and patching the concrete.
When the job was completed he handed me a bill for another $100.00. I told him that I didn't think we owed more as they did not do it right the first time because they did not have the correct tools and we had to wait for the auger to be delivered even though our air conditioner guy told them what the needed.  He just said that he did not 'charge me" for other stuff. I gave him the check for $100.00 and sent an email to the company explaining what happeded but received no response.

Jeff arrived as scheduled, immediately diagnosed the problem, and effected the repairs. He was professional and courteous at all times and displayed an exceptional knowledge of his trade.
Once the valves were replaced, Jeff noted that we had the wrong type of control handles installed and this was part of the "dripping" problem. He then checked but did not have the parts we needed on his truck (this plumbing is 25+ years old). He also  provided a detailed description of what we actually needed as well as references on where we could acquire the parts. He stated that he could order the parts, but we could probably pick them up faster than if he ordered them. He then ensured that we knew how to remove the existing handles and install the new ones when we got them.
We found the new handles that afternoon and had them installed by evening. Everything is working perfectly!
All in all, we found the experience to be extremely satisfactory, from my first telephone contact through to Jeff's departure after the work was done.
If Jeff is representative of the quality of folks working at Classic Plumbing, then we highly recommend their services to anyone needing assistance with their plumbing!

The service tech arrived on time and immediately saw the problem.  He offered a standard hot water heater or one with double the life expectancey (and warranty) for just a little more cost.  I chose the longer life heater.  He also noticed the elevated platform was becoming warped and could fail, so he replaced it with a piece of plywood at no additional charge.  The installation was done properly in good time.  After a minor adjustment, it also passed inspection by the city.  While he was here, I asked him to clear a bathtub drain, which he did for a nominal additional charge.   I've had them do work for us before and will use them exclusively in the future.

Bill did a terrific job on both bathrooms. He also changed a valve where he thought there might be a potential problem. He was quick and efficient and kept costs to a minimum. I would definitely call again if I had another problem.

Bill worked like a true professional.  He was prompt, worked quickly, and was very neat.
If there was anything negative about this experience, it was price.  That is why I rated this catagory a "B".  That being said, I fully understand that a small business such as Classic Plumbing has a significant investment to put a plumber on the road, such as equipment, vehicles, insurance, uniforms etc. I am sure I could have found a firm to do this work cheaper.  But I chose to pay a little more for Classic Plumbing to do the work.
I have used Classic Plumbing on two other occasions in 2012, and have had the same satisfied results.

There was water flooding out underneath the front door while I was out of town on business. I gave them permission to break in to the home through the back window. They were able to turn the water off and by the time I got home they had replaced the old water heater with a new one and called Dry Force, to come out and dry out the water damage.

UPDATE******-Had to have the company come out again today for a different issue (sink stopper).  They are truly an amazing company to use!!  Dale was very nice and efficient.  Again, they called to give me a heads up they were on their way and the problem was resolved efficiently (even though it ended up being more difficult for the guy....he had to take it all apart just to get to this one part because it was a push up/down stopper).  I do not hesitate to recommend this company!!  They are always kind, polite and prompt and do good work and they do NOT leave a mess!!!

They arrived when they said they would, did a good job, and cleaned up afterwards.  They used some $20 worth of parts that I had already purchased thinking I would be able to fix it.  They did not have to remove the toilet, but did have to reinstall it.  Thus, the price would have been higher if they furnished the parts and if they had to remove the toilet.

Classic came out within 1 hr of me calling. I had a landscaper accidently punture the water supply line with a shovel. The plumber was very good, took care of the repair in 15 mins. Made sure the pressure held after the repair was done. I couldn't have been happier!
