Aerus Air and Water Quality

My wife and I felt this was a scam They used a device to test air quality and attempted to sell us air purifiers at a high cost. It felt like we had a used car salesman in the house

Ryan was the plumber Aerus sent to install my whole house water filtration system. He was prompt, curtious, and informative. Tom was my salesman sent to discuss systems. He was also complete in his explanation of systems. I can finally drink the well water with confidence in my new old home!!!

The salesman was very professional and knowledgeable. However we did have a slight mix up in communication one of the numbers happened to be off but the issue was resolved. He was a really good guy and did great work. He even helped me with a different unrelated project and didn't charge me for it.

Air Quality Testing. Mike Laperle is very professional and straight forward. He knew exactly what my issues are and went about testing for the air toxins I knew were contributing to part of the problem. If you need your home tested for air quality, not just mold and mildew, I recommend him. I did put in some air purification systems and filters that he sells and within 48 hours, there was a noticeable difference. Of course, I need more work done as the house is getting up there in years, as are the occupants[smile], but it's nice and financially reasonable to boot, to have had the air tested, being able to see exactly what was floating around, and then, being able to address some of the issues within 24 hours. Believe me, it's what you don't see that could lead you to an article I had previously read entitled,"Could Your House Be Killing You" and finding out, yes, it could be contributing to worsening physical issues. Now, I'm not saying air purification systems are the only thing anyone will need, but to be able to set them up right away along with the reasonable price of what we needed, for now, it's a big start. Yes, of course, I need more work done and will be back "tooling around" Home Advisors as I go through all the "stuff" I put off for years and now, that "stuff" has become a nightmare. So, step 1 is nearly checked off my bucket list as I may go with a larger air filtration unit for another part of the house, but let me just assure you of one thing. If you have concerns about what may be contributing to indoor air quality issues, Mike Laperle and Aerus of Rhode Island are well worth talking to and then, follow up and have him come test the house. Finally, everyone in this market, of course, has something to sell, but what makes it a non-hard sell, is when you are dealing with someone who does have your needs as a priority, can show you exactly what the meters are picking up in real time, and who actually, questioned me about why I wanted something that cost a bit more when he thought I'd be fine with a different one that cost less. He also told me some of the other things I need to pursue on getting the house in better shape, but not once, pushed a contractor, another service his company may have offered, or anyone else at my husband and I. Afterall, that's what this site is for. Hope this helps you.

Two very nice gentlemen did the work .... and showed me how much dirt, hair etc. (substantial) that was vacuumed up before they shampooed the carpets. I'll get this done by them more often now.

This was not an air quality test which identifies the problem with the air (mold, VOC, etc). Instead, it was merely a sales pitch (in which I paid $50 for them to tell me I have high levels of ????... they didn't know ), to sell a portable $2,500 air filtration product.

Mike was prompt and efficient. He went above and beyond in the performance of the job. He was very friendly.
