The repair technician was very professional and honest. He worked with me, knowing my limited budget. I would highly recommend them.

The technician was a little late, but I was thrilled that they could come out on the day I called. He stayed until late at night to find the problem, so we could turn our A/C back on. It had been over 100 degrees that day. The attic was unbearably hot, but he didn't hesitate to work up there for several hours. He was very polite and apologized for being late. I was very pleased with the service and price. I will call them again whenever I have an A/C problem.

The representative that came out was on time, courteous and pleasant to deal with. He was detail oriented and took his time checking up on our system. He did end up recommending a couple of improvements, one based on updated building codes, the other based on measurements showing that the part was slowly wearing out (normal wear and tear.) We ended up doing one of the items, and not the other. There was no pressure applied from him at all. For the price, they will do two checkups, i.e. one now for the air conditioners, another when it's time to turn the heat on this fall. We are very satisfied with them in all aspects, and will continue being a customer of theirs and have already recommended them to our friends. Huge difference between the other service express company that did some warranty work for us last year.

The work was fast. The tech was friendly and cheerful. He gave me some tips on keeping the A/C pipes clear in the future. I was not charged extra for an "after hours" call.

When the air-conditioning stops working during August in Texas, you start to panic. I found Strand Bros on Angie's List and all of the kudos are fully deserved. They came out on a Saturday--earlier than the estimated time. The problem was quickly identified and fixed. Within half an hour of the technician being here, we were already cooler. The prices were very reasonable and the coupon was accepted without any difficulty. Angie's List came to the rescue and Strand Bros is exactly the kind of company you want to deal with in an emergency.

When our heat pumps were installed, we were so impressed with the workmanship and the professionalism of the workers that we decided later to get the maintenance agreements in which they come out twice a year to check everything over, clean the equipment and do anything which the heat pumps might need. Each time they come out, we are impressed with the politeness of the workers and the thoroughness of their work. They always are very particular as to how neat they leave our house after they complete their job. This is all very important to us because we have lived in our house for 30 years and this is the first time we have had heating/air conditioning with which we have not had a lot of trouble and a company that we can trust and depend on. It is nice also to have a company you can call and a family member answers the phone.

Called Strand Brothers based on recommendations on here. Their basic price for an emergency house call was 107 but they had a $20 coupon on their website. Technician informed me that the drain hose was clogged. He discovered that it was just kinked in 2 places and jammed under the outside unit. After straightening, it drained right away. Rather than charge me the standard $80 for unclogging the hose, he just shortened the hose so that it drains properly and only charged me for the house call. He gave me many tips for properly maintaining my A/C system. Upon mentioning that I planned on having my system tuned up by them later, he took a look at it and taught me how to seal up some gaps in the air duct on my own, saving me $200! He could have just as easily said, ''I can do the tune-up next week. Call and schedule an appointment.'' A little goes a long way...the $200 dollars they didn't make from me this time around will come back to them in gaining a loyal long-term customer!

I would use Strand Bros again and have already recommended them to my daughter (who used them & is also recommending them) and others. They do not offer a senior discount, but do offer coupons (which I unfortunately did not have!). They made a bad situation much better by being so prompt and keeping their prices reasonable.

The technicians were friendly, efficient, and conscientious.

We've been having them check our units for some time now, and we liked the fact that they kept them in good working order at all times. They might suggest a few things from time to time, which we appreciated. They were always on time when we expected them.

They were very friendly and the best thing was that they got the job done their first time out here and they didn t have to come back. I just can't think of anything bad to say about them. The entire experience was very pleasant.

I have used Strand for years and generally had them come out every fall and spring to check my unit. He spent about 40 minutes checking our air conditioner this last time out. He changed some filters and was in and out in no time. The gentleman who came out was very nice, friendly, and very helpful too.

The removal of the old heating unit went well and everything seemed to be fine with the installation of the new heating unit. We had problems hooking up the air ducts to the heating unit, but they worked on it until everything fit perfectly and since then we haven't had any problems with the heating unit.

When I called them, they were here by the next afternoon. The guy was very polite and friendly. He was here about an hour and now my refrigerator cools properly. I thought the whole experience was positive. I would call this company again. They run their company in a very professional manner.

We were pleased with them because they responded quickly to my call and sent someone out right away. They had 24-hour emergency service because they were a popular company. They gave us an estimate first and stuck to it. They didn t expect payment until the work was finished. I couldn t remember the price they charged me.

This was a very good, family run company that did exactly what they said they would do. They were a very professional bunch that was pleasant to be around. They came out very quickly to do the job. They cleaned up and hauled away all of the old equipment. I would recommend them very highly to everyone.

The guy kept to his appointment. He was a very curious and friendly individual. The work was alright we haven't had any problems with it since he came out. I would recommend them, they were very dependable to us, and I know they will be dependable to other home owners.

I was very happy with the installation of our new system. We have not had a single problem with it at all. The guys that did the installation were pretty nice and they got my unit in pretty quickly. I thought that they were a very reputable company. I do not wish to disclose the pricing of our unit.

We called Strands for a new unit and scheduled the installation. They came out as scheduled and were very professional. We were very happy with the quality of their product and the work done. The house was a lot easier to cool with this unit.

This is a very trustworthy group of people and we don't feel like we have to beware of them trying to take advantage of us. Our units are always working and that is why we have them service our units. They did a nice of making sure air-conditioning unit was ready for the season.

The fact that I had been happy with them over a period of 4-5 years speaks for itself. They installed the units back then and we haven't run into a single problem with the units, while using their maintenance plan. They arrive on the job when they say they will and take the time needed to check whatever they check. They were a extremely nice group of people.

The plumber was very prompt, arriving less than an hour after I called. He was well mannered, and went right to work. The original job was finished in a little over an hour. The job was not done correctly, though. The leak started again two months later and I had to call him back. This time he did it right, and did not charge me anything. Although he was a nice man, I would prefer a plumber who has the skill to fix it the first time.

They were on time for the appointment. Price was right at $200 for two systems. They were extremely courteous, and the A/C units are working great. I would use them again.

Strand Brothers is a great company. I would recommend them to anyone. I have used them for years and will continue to do so. They are always on time and finish the work quickly.
