Klocks Electric

,I reached out to Klock last week, mainly to get a quote for new LED recessed lighting in my kitchen, but needed a couple other things too. I received some great follow up questions, then a very good quote on Saturday. It's Tuesday now and the work is done and I love it. The guys who came out were on time, really nice and had helpful input on the placement of all the lights in my kitchen. They were also really fast. I would use them again, no hesitation.

Getting a quote was uber easy. I contacted them (as well as 4 other companies - all found from Angie's List) through their website, and they promptly replied (the others replied, but they requested I call them or send photos combined with other large amounts of information). They were the ONLY company to give me an actual quote (they charged by the hour for this particular job) and offer to book me right away. I happily obliged. When the day came, I thought they were running late, jumped the gun and called the company, then thought to reread the original email only to realize I had been given a half hour window. And yes, he showed up right inside that window. That was my mistake. Because I was paying by the hour, I tried to help out by unwrapping and half assembling my own fixtures. I would do that again in the future... and yes, there will be a future. I was impressed enough that I wrote about them in my blog. (They don't know this... but maybe they do now!*) I hope to get a quote for a much larger job in the not too distant future.

My husband and I recently began remodeling an older home that needed a lot of electrical lighting updates. I called Klock Electric and Greg Klock came out to give the estimate. He was quick, thorough and gave me a detailed estimate for the work I wanted done. He was upfront and honest about how easy or difficult each item I wanted done would be. We decided to move forward and I am so very glad that we did. Greg and his guys came in and worked full days to get everything completed, one timehis guy stayed until 9pm on a Saturday so that the work would be done! The lighting looks amazing and both he and his workers were easy to work with, were very accommodating, and just overall did such a fantastic job. I've had a lot of construction guys in and out of my house for various projects and all of them have had hiccups here and there. NOT Klock Electric! Everything went as smoothly as possible and I just can't say how grateful I was to find Greggand his guys. I even had an issue with my electrical box (after his guys had done their work, a few weeks after) and he came by to make sure that it was okay and not something that would be related to what his guys had done, which it wasn't (its an old house with a really funky electrical panel). But my point is that he cared and wanted to take care of me as his customer. I can't thank them enough, our home looks great, and I will be calling Klock Electric for any of my future electrical needs and have recommended them to everyone who's needed an electrician recently.

Klock electric did a great job coming out and accurately meeting my needs and expectations. I just bought a new house back in May 2012 and needed a slight face lift on some electrical. Greg was super competitive on his price and Jess and his crew were great to work with. They are flexible, honest and knowledgable. Most importantly, when they found an issue, they pointed it out and made it better than city code.
To date, I have used them 3x times now and they are the best!

On Time, Professional , evaluated the situation and suggest repair to correct the issue.

I purchased a coupon for whole house surge protector for another contractor that required a service upgrade prior to installation. I proceeded to request quotes from 4 other electrical contractors on Angie's List. This contractor quoted a lesser upgrade, but I decided to improve service panel for possible future home improvements. Greg Klock was great to work with when he arrived to quote the job.

I needed some lighting work and electrical outlets added. Klock's customer service was great. I wasted an entire day and had called many other electricians and they were all too busy or inexperienced and didn't inspire confidence. Klock scheduled with me to fit my schedule and they showed up and did the work fast and clean, these guys know their work. Final bill was slightly higher than estimate but given their fantastic professional work, it was agreeable.
Angie's List got me another great contractor here. I'll use this company again in a heartbeat.

Other than a minor scheduling snafu with the office, for which the electrician apologized, we were very pleased with the work they did and their overall professionalism. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

The electrician showed up on time and completed the work quickly and cleanly. I would call them again for any electrical work I needed done.

I contacted Klock and Vaughan for a quote on installing a sub-panel in my backyard building. The estimate was fast and answered all of my questions. The price was far lower than I was budgeting. When I scheduled the service, they had me on the books in about a week. They showed up on time, answered all my questions, performed all the required work and reviewed the state of my existing main panel for safety. They pointed out an issue in my main panel that was unrelated to the work I was having performed and offered it to correct it at no charge. They finished the work in 2 hours which was right within the estimate.
Of all the work I've had performed over the years, this was by far the best experience.

Starting from my first call, customer service was exceptional! I had called five other electricians and their responses were non-existent. After joining Angie's List, I found Klock and Vaughn. During my first contact an appointment time was set up and Jesse arrived exactly when promised. He was thorough, professional, and did an overall great job. Due to can lights being installed, there was ceiling debris, but he laid tarps over my wooden floors and cleaned up when he was finished. I would definitely recommend Klock and Vaughn to others and will call them if I have other electrical work to be done. Thanks Jesse for a great job!

Great service from the first time call to schedule appointment with receptionist to the finish of installation.

Klock and Vaughn came out and put in the whole house surge protector. They were punctual, quick, and everything has been great. If I have any electrical issues again, would be happy to use them.

We had several calls to get the appt scheduled and the owner was not very friendly. The appt was scheduled 2 weeks in advance and no one showed up, when my husband called we were told that the individual was delayed for several hours. When he arrived, he did not have everything that he needed to work efficiently. The installer was very professional and apologetic however it was not a professioanl experience with the owner.

Technicians were one electrician and one apprentice. Apprentice had some issues making sure the pot rack was securely fastened into the ceiling but after electrician fixed that, everything was great.

I had an issue with the spa and the spa guys said the problem was due to the wiring. Klock helped me work through the issue with the spa guys by coming back out to the house twice and talking with the spa guys on the phone and confirming it was not a wiring but a spa problem.

Work was performed in a timely manner and as the system has not been tested I cannot commit on the surge protector. The work to install was quick and neat.

Greg and an employee arrived on time and started to work immediately. He explained everything in detail and accomplished the work in no time flat. I would recommend him to any one!!!

I called and spoke to Greg Klock to schedule an estimate to upgrade our service. He went into great detail about how I probably didn't need what my husband was wanting, which I can appreciate, but agreed to come out to give us an estimate. I called back later to reconfirm the time for the visit. He never returned my call nor did he ever show up or call to advise he wasn't coming. Guess he really wasn't interested in doing the work.
