Firefighter Roofing is a family owned and operated business. Owner Philip Perdue has been a firefighter in the DFW area for the last 13 years, and he started the business on the concept of wanting to provide a service to people doing things the right way. Firefighter Roofing is a business that people can trust, our clients are friends and we pride ourselves on the concept of trust and honesty . We are a part of the community and we treat everyone with the highest level of respect, honesty and appreciation. Phillip with Firefighter Roofing was very polite and informative, and worked on my behalf with the insurance adjuster to help me receive the best possible outcome on my roof claim. The craftsmanship and quality of the work is a grade above, one of the reasons is that they use a high quality long lasting roof shingle. We were very happy with the outcome.

Firefighter roofing is a fantastic trustworthy company. I interviewed about five different roofing companies before settling on Firefighter Roofing. From the moment I spoke to Phil on the phone I knew he was a trustworthy guy. He came out in person multiple times to discuss the project with myself and my husband, walked me through the entire insurance process, was definitely reasonably price for an amazing quality of work. All the materials were automatically of the higher end because he doesn’t even touch the non-quality materials. At no point was I pressured he stood behind his work and you could tell that that was how he gets his jobs. He wouldn’t even take payment of any form until the entire project was completed and never did I have to pay money before insurance gave me money. We had a slight issue with gutter color That was not his fault, but he took care of it immediately and was always available to answer his phone and discuss anything with me. While they were replacing the roof they found mold, it was completely taken care of in clued it in the price already and I didn’t even have to worry. On a sidenote he was also very understanding in my in ability to choose colors and going back-and-forth on color multiple times. If you need a new roof go with firefighter roofing they are amazing. Thank you so much Phil I love my roof.

I hired someone to glue & seal some loose shingles on a house that I was selling. They did such a bad job that it would not pass inspection. I reached out to Phil at Firefighter Roofing & they not only repaired everything but they sent a detailed report with pictures showing the work was completed correctly. Phil & Phillip we’re kind, punctual, & more than fairly priced. I have recommended them to many friends already.

I would recommend Firefighter Roofing. I found them on Angie's List. They were very prompt and completed the job within the expected time lines. When I had questions and/or concerns, they were promptly resolved. I have an older home. The house had two layers of shingling that required removal and replacement as well as a 3-car carport roof replacement. It was agreed this job would be completed in 2 phases. The crews that replaced my roof and carport were very hard working. After the crew removed the 2 layers of shingles from my roof, the onsite Project Manager brought to my attention a concern that some of the vent stacks on the roof were not connected to piping in the attic. Upon further inspection in my attic, he found that vents were no longer required and recommended their removal. My neighbor told us that he was impressed on how quickly they removed and re-shingled my roof. If needed I would use Firefighter Roofing again and have recommended the company to others.

They did everything they promised and in a shorter time period than I expected. I compared their cost to one other roofer and they were less expensive, without me having to try to lower their price. I was impressed that they not only seemed to know the best ways to re-roof a house, but they made sure they followed the rules to ensure the roof warranties would stay valid. I also like the fact that the management all are men who risk their lives fighting fires in my neighborhood. I just met a new employee who is learning details about roofing, but I saw that he already knows details about fighting fires.

My asphalt, architectural shingle roof needed replacing due to a 2017 hail storm. I did a considerable amount of research on different types of roofing materials and attic ventilation systems and talked to a number of roofing companies. When I called Firefighter Roofing, I spoke to very nice man (Phil) who came to my house, listened patiently and carefully to my questions and was very polite and thoughtful. He looked at the existing roof ventilation system and we talked at length about ventilation systems, pros and cons. I had other companies scheduled to come talk to me so Phil left me with a brochure. Each company that came out had an opinion on what was best and what needed to be done. As Phil seemed the most knowledgeable, I called him several times with questions and he was always immediately available or called me right back. He never bad-mouthed anyone but provided me with smart answers and lots of information. Having talked to more than 6 companies, Phil and Firefighter Roofing stood out as the superior choice so I contracted with them for the roofing work. The crew installing the roof clearly knew what they were doing. They worked really well together and were efficient and professional. They laid tarps around the house and then went back around with magnetic tools to get all the nails. They were very meticulous and careful about the clean-up. No landscaping was damaged. Phil was here most of the day. He knew the crew and helped them with clean-up. The roof looks great. They paid attention to the little details like matching the drip edge and spray painting the roof vents and caps to match the roof. Of all the companies I talked to, there were a few others that probably would have done a good job but I think Firefighter Roofing is a superior company. I highly recommend them. And a final note, I asked for proof of insurance and called the insurance company to verify that their insurance was current. Completely unsolicited, the woman at the insurance company just raved about Firefighter Roofing, not the work they do but the people themselves. Her option of the folks at Firefighter Roofing is that they are good folks with high integrity.

6-13-18 Firefighter Roofing just put a new roof on my 2 story large home in Mckinney. I want to give this company, and all who represent it the highest praise. The company is owned by Phillip and Stacy Perdue. Phillip is a firefighter who developed this business on the side, and does not cut corners in his work. He does each job like it was his own home, and that is what I received with my new roof. He is quality to the first order. He does not chase storms like so many do in this industry, but get's his next job by referral. His manager for this job was Jeremy Edgar, who I absolutely loved because of his attention to the details, details, details, and going the extra mile at every decision point. Jeremy is also a pastor, and what a blessing he was to work with, you can't find a better combination than that, when you need a big ticket item like a new roof. If you are going to need a roof in the future, Please consider calling these guys and you will get more than what you or your insurance will pay for.

Excellent service! Jeremy Edgar performed gave me a feee consultation on my roof. He gave me a detailed report and imparted knowledge regarding roof health & best practices. He reviewed my gutters at my request. He also suggested and coordinated my order with Better Flo Gutters of Texas. I’m happy to say I replaced some old gutters, and the work was successfully completed in a very timely fashion.
