She never called back and we were very disappointed because they had a great Angies List rating.

i contacted this company about having them come out and do a consultation on my yard. I emailed back and forth with one of the owners a few times trying to schedule a time. I sent her the last email trying to narrow down a date and never heard from her again. I'm disappointed because I was very excited by what I had read on their website.

The Crew, led by Danielle, arrived at 9:00 AM sharp with enthusiastic smiles and began to handle our oversized lawn, which had been heavily infested with various types of weeds. They worked very efficiently and methodically to mow, bag, edge, trim and blow-sweep all areas, and then applied the pre-emergent.

Both Danielle and fellow worker were very cordial. The lawn was left with an excellent appearance in a relatively short time, for a very fair price! The owner is very knowledgable and is always easy to reach by either email or telephone, and offers very practical advice on how to enhance lawn maintenance between their visits. This company is highly recommended!

Inspected lawn and determined that there were weeds and different types of grass. Asked when was the last time we fererlized? When I said the old gardner billed me for at least 6 ferterlizings, she said she didn't see it. Frankly I didn't either, hence the move to locate a new gardner. Conne said that they would do the first cut to better see what there was a predominance of then we could determine the best weed and feed ferterlizer to use in the future. Connie herself came out to inspect the lawn before the first cut. I am very pleased with them and will continue to use them.

At first we had some growing pains with them, but now we are satisfied with their services. I would say that their pricing is a little high, which is because they are an organic company.

Yesterday the EarthWise team was at our property yesterday. They were fantastic. We signed up for their yearly contract package and are receiving incredible services. They did more in a couple hours than we could have done in a day. Well worth the investment. Thank you EarthWise!

Around the New Years holiday week I called the Earthwise phone number and Connie Cates answered. At the time she was in California taking care of arrangements for a funeral but she made plans to meet me at the end of the week when she returned.

I explained what I wanted and she noted these down. I explained one of the problems I wanted to work on was a thorny pest plant that was making inroads along the fence in the backyard. Since I am going to have Earthwise take care of the lawn maintenance now this will be one of the things she can keep an eye on for me.

The Earthwise crew captained by one of Connie's daughters came out about a week later and I was very pleased with the appearance of the property and the that the things we talked about were done to my satisfaction. I found only one item that was not done (which was to clean out the fallen leaves and branches behind the garage) and after telling her about this she had her crew out the next day or so and took care of it.

I've been looking for an organic-conscious lawn and garden company to help me manage and fix my landscaped front yard for a while. I contacted Connie at EarthWise and I immediately knew this was the company I was looking for. The consultation / yard walk through was just what I needed to show what I have, explain what I'm looking for, and convey my desires to use natural / organic products and methods. I also got the feedback I needed on what will be best for the plants I have and why as well as suggestions for what would be good additions. We discussed what kind of initial work should be done to prepare my front yard for Winter and discussed work to be done this Spring.

Connie also gave me a full analysis of organic amendments and treatments to add to my yard and beds to give them the nutrients to be healthier next year. Connie was pleasure to talk to and knows how to manage your yard using organic methods. Give her a call!!!

Our suburban lawn is comprised of St Augustine grass, minimal shade, and thick clay soil. Over the past six years our grass has become much greener and more lush each year until it truly stands out in the neighborhood. Even in the extended heat, we only water twice weekly and our lawn is dark green! Connie inspects our lawn several times each year and her treatments have been right on! Connie's daughter is the team chief of the mowing crew and is anxious to please the customer. Hired helpers occasionally need closer supervision regarding string cutting our tree trunks and house wiring as well as leaving a level lawn when cuttng thick grass on hill sides. Team will respond immediately to complaints and they are very punctual in meeting their weekly mowing time.

Price is set by contract and varies monthly based on services to be performed. You can find cheaper lawn mowing services if that is all you want. We find that heavy spring weeds require pulling by hand (Round-Up is not organic!). Organic gardening costs more and requires experienced, quality oversight, but the safety of our pets and wild life (earthworms, birds, etc.) makes EarthWise a good investment for us. We anticipate using EarthWise for years to come.

They come once a week and mow the lawn, edge and clean up..

Connie created two scenes in the front of my house that 'popped' as she says, and created huge visual appeal. I believe that the work that Connie did for me is part of the reason our house got a good offer within 4 days of being listed! In this market!

Our front door is red, but kind of in a shadow so it doesn't show up well. Connie hunted for and found a very large green ceramic pot and filled it with lime green and red plants shade plants to complement the front door. She used red caladiums, lime green coleus, sweet potato vines and several other plants that I can't identify. It is gorgeous! The pot is absolutely stuffed with plants.

Most of the flower beds in front of the house are filled with perennials but there is one triangular spot right in the front where I usually put some annual color. First, Connie mounded this area with soil so that it visually lifted the area, then she filled it with white and yellow flowers. We had both heard that yellow flowers attract home buyers. She used white begonias at the bottom of the mound, and shrimp plants above them. The back is the lime green coleus again, with very yellow croton on the ends. It just screams "I'm beautiful! Come buy me!" Very, very visually appealing and eye-catching. This yellow attraction is also adjacent to a large spot of purple oxalis, so again, the complementary colors work so beautifully together. Connie has a real eye for color.

Connie advised me on other staging too, while we were visiting for the estimate. I have a fence with several terracotta suns on it. She mentioned that I needed something large over here to go with it. I got a large metal sun at Big Lots for $20 and it's perfect. She also advised me to move my small bird bath from the back deck to near the fence with suns. Again, such a simple touch but such a big improvement.

The bed maintenance in the back beds was done efficiently. Connie's practice is to place cardboard under the mulch to keep weed growth to a minimum. This is working very well.

Connie also used some extra plants (the rest of the flats) and mulch at no extra cost to me. She put the rest of the red caladiums on the fence line under my terracotta suns and it looks perfect.

I am very pleased with the work that Connie and her crew did and when we buy a new place and get settled, I'll ask her to come get me started in our new home.

I began service with Earthwise about 10 years ago for basic maintenance only, and over time added seasonal color changes, mulching of beds and most recently landscape re-design as part of a whole house remodel. Connie has an experienced eye toward the total landscape, working with the customer not only toward selecting plants that will thrive in the landscape, but that fit in their surroundings and work with the property as a whole.
