Description of Work: My GE refrigerator was under extended warranty when the refrigerator portion was not cooling properly. I called the warranty service to send a repairman. They did . This repairman came into my house without any tools. He asked me for the owners manual to my refrigerator. He then proceeded to tell me I needed a new thermostat for my refrigerator. He would have to order it and would contact me when the part was in. It took a full week for him to contact me and set up another appointment. Four days later he arrived and opened my freezer side and cut some wires, never installed a new part and left. One hour after he left my 7 year old refrigerator was not cooling at all. He completely ruined my refrigerator!!! I then proceeded to call the warranty company and told them that my refrigerator was worse now than before the repairman they sent out. I told them I did not want him back in my house! They then informed me that I had to use the same repairman for the next month. That is when I went to Angies List and found Advanced Appliance Repair. I called them the next day and they came out that day on time. The repairman spent more than an hour at my house and was very honest telling me it would cost close to $l000.00 to repair my refrigerator. He advised me that if it was him he would buy a new refrigerator . I thought that it was very honest for him to tell me that because had he repaired my old refrigerator he would have made $1000.00 So I would Highly Recommend using their service. I will definitely use them again!

Description of Work: Placed a call and spoke to Chris about the noise my refrigerator was making and about frost in my freezer. He sounded busy and told me what it sounded like....freezer door had been left open at some point.

Description of Work: My son's refrigerator had stopped cooling so I helped him out by scheduling someone to come take a look at it. He is a single parent of a 2 year old and really needed a working refrigerator. I called several repair places and Advanced Appliance Repair was the only one out of 4 that actually answered the phone without having to leave a message. He scheduled something right away and arrived on time. However, my son was not at the home at the scheduled time. I called and apologized as I know that my son's location is not convenient. I was told "although I don't like having to drive way out there again, I am willing to do so because I know he has a little one." I was so pleased that I didn't have to start the search process and reschedule. The repair person drove back out to my sons home that day. He had the part available and it was repaired. The fan had stopped working. We are really pleased with his work and more thrilled to know that there are still companies that are willing to go beyond the "call of duty" for customers. I would definitely recommend this company! They seem to be a very honest, professional company!
