We were not please at all. We were surprised at the cost over $6,900.00 (1/2 on the day the contract was signed and the balance upon completion.) We signed the contract on February 8, 2022. What was supposed to be done within 4-6 weeks extended to 3 months. The month of March, April, and May came in and no one ever called or communicated with us, unless we initiated the call(s) first. Our frustrations were: * No communication from the inspector or company when job could start. * Delayed in supplies. We understand that can happen, just keep us informed. * Called 1st week in April, 3rd week in April, supposed to start on Friday22 between 8-11, but had canceled because they had to finish previous job. We were compliant, no apology was given. Rained on Monday, started job on Tuesday. Young men started job, but had to stop due to mortar problems. They were very courteous and polite and explained the situation. They did what they could do to fix the problem, but had to inform the inspector of the situation. * Inspector came around 3:00 P.M. Gave us options. Another cost, but at this time we just wanted the job done. We were told that we had top priority as soon as the supplies were to come in the following week. A week and half had past. No further communication was noted. * Called May 9, 2022. Receptionist told us that we would be placed on the list for the following week. Another delay. We were not pleased. The inspection, who we signed the contract with told us that he could not help us because he had no control of the schedule. This was not acceptable to us as your customers. You got the money, let's finish the job. We were not happy with the service at all. On May 13, 2022, at 0945, Julius Gonzalez and his team saved your company from getting a 1 Star. They made a tremendous difference in handling this bad situation. My home looked like a disaster of an un-finished job of many months. Julian's mannerism, professionalism, and expertise in handling the job was very commendable. He was very polite and apologetic. He said that he was there for us and wanted us to be satisfied with the work that he and his team would be doing. There were no delays in the process in getting the job finish. They cleaned and vacuumed areas that dust had accumulated on the floors, fireplace, and hearth. I really appreciated their commitment to their job. Julian and his team exemplified competency, honesty, and integrity. Julian Gonzalez and his team deserves 5 Stars and a bonus! He did a job well-done. This what Customers Service is all about.

We hired them to do a diagnostic on our gas fireplace that wasn’t turning on. They were able to come out fairly quickly and arrived within their appointment window. The pricing was reasonable. However, the technician was unable to determine the issue with the fireplace after about an hour. He recommended replacing the entire unit. We got a second opinion and the other company was able to diagnose the issue over the phone, make the repair, and save us hundreds of dollars or more.

They did good work for us last year so we decided to hire them again. An appointment was set up for November 18 from 3-5 pm. Those were the only hours we could have the work done. On November 17, Wolfman called and wanted to confirm the appointment for November 18 but for an early morning time frame. They were unable to stick to their original, agreed upon schedule and they also couldn't provide a suitable make-up date. There was no explanation given. We will be going to another, more reliable company.

It was awful! The original price was a $99.00 chimney special until I mentioned it was a wood stove which made a big price difference! The price was $318.00 for a chimney sweep! They did not fix the main issue of leaking water from flashing on the roof down the pipes! Awful!

I am selling a home needed to get a general fireplace inspection to satisfy a possible issue from the buyer's inspection. Austin showed up on time and inspected the fireplace as well as the issue noted by the buyer's inspection. He assured me that the fireplace is completely fine and advised of a very easy and inexpensive solution to the item noted. He told me that the item was so simple, he wouldn't feel right charging me to have them do it. He instructed me on exactly what cheap part to buy and how to install it. He then wrote up his findings and recommendations so that I would have documentation for my buyer. I wasn't even charged for his visit! It's evident to me that this company truly values customer service and understands that satisfied customers will keep coming back.

I hired Wolfman’s to do basic chimney sweeping. The technician spent most of his time trying to up-sell me on everything from replacing the gas log kit to replacing my metal roof. After his “cleaning” we lit a fire only to discover that he had dislodged the damper such that it was no longer adjustable. We hired another chimney sweep a few weeks later who showed us before and after photos of their work. Wolfman’s tech hadn’t even done what we paid them to do—it was still filthy. The second crew also put the damper back in place so it would work again. So, if you want to pay for an imaginary cleaning and have your damper broken, use them.

Austin from Wolfman performed a review of my fireplace/chimney prior to having it cleaned and repaired for safety. He was professional and recommended work that needed to completed for fireplace safety. He also identified work that did not need to be completed now but could wait until later. I will use this company for fireplace repair and cleaning.

Austin came on schedule, cleaned and inspected chimney. Did an outstanding job. No mess left at all. Also removed leaves from roof that was too steep for me to get on. Swept up patio after removal. Definitely would hire again.

Showed up on time and did excellent work. They demoed our hearth taking it from 14 feet in length to 3 feet. They had to reclaim bricks to finish the ends. Looks like new. I am very happy with their work.

They did not honor the current Angie's List Special price of $159.99 for Chimney Sweep and Inspection. Once Service rep arrived, who was very nice, he mentioned the $189.99. After discussion, I advised I’d call the office. He inspected the fireplace, found cracks and said it would cost $479 for to replace the 3 walls and the floor in the fireplace. After the initial shock, I realized we would have to pay over $2k to use our fireplace, this was not in budget. I advised him that we did not want to go further but as he said he had to. I advised we’d pay him for a portion, basically, the fireplace inspection. He called his office and they quoted $173. I called asking why the charge of $173? I also asked about honoring $159.99. She said that was an old special and no longer honored. I responded, that the price should still be honored, no matter if they have not updated it. She finally said they would honor it, but no cleaning would be done! RIPOFF! The service man finished roof inspection and advised us of the damage and it would be another $2k. Total, over $4k. I understand the damage found, but for this company to not honor $159.99 and then to charge the same without the chimney sweep! That’s terrible. So for $30 more, the Chimney would be cleaned? I found another Angie's list review for Wolfman from Sep 2018 where they also didn’t honor the Angie’s list price. So, they’ve had plenty of time to fix this "old special price" issue. But instead, they’ve taken advantage of the customer. That’s not right.

Always very happy with this company. The technician was on time, thorough and very courteous. He also cleaned everything up when he was done.

Work was done and he did a good job. But he would not honor the angie's list coupon. Said it did not apply. Told me to call them and get my money back. So I did just that Then he told Angie's List that he did apply it but he did not. He told me that the coupon only covered masonry work but that is not what the coupon implied. then he would not return my calls or Angie's List calls. So is that someone you want to do work for you?????

Pretty good. I thought expensive (6K), but have no experience to gage by, and, didn't get an itemized bill. Not sure why they couldn't just repair the side with damage, instead, they replaced the entire chimney to include the metal cap assembly, which was not damaged.
