"We appreciate all feedback. We feel it is important to add context to your response. Your mother called in and set the appointment over the phone and had no problem communicating her feelings on the phone or in person. She authorized us to make electrical repairs to the home of about $2500, which would require us to get additional materials and have two electricians come back for a day's work the following day. After the electricians bought materials and started on the job, we stopped work at her request. Your mother said she should not pay anything for the labor or materials we provided because of a lemon law. We explained that we had come out two times, the second day with two licensed electricians to do the job she had agreed to and signed to have us do. However, if she changed her mind we were willing to only charge for services rendered and would refund the difference. Next she offered to pay only the cost of a receptacle at Home Depot but no labor. Finally you and she both agreed to $400. We spoke with you in a very professional manner and received vulgar profanity in response. Our quality of service and materials are second to none. We make sure everyone understands exactly what the cost will be before any charges are incurred and guarantees that everyone will be charged the same price for the same job. We work hard to provide customers with the best electrical services at competitive prices and in this case we were not able to come to an agreement on services."

"We appreciate your review and want to hear your thoughts and concerns. The cost of materials is a very small part of the cost. Your total cost includes labor to diagnose the issue to make sure that what we are doing is appropriate, install the materials, and take steps to be sure there are no additional safety issues. This is all done by a licensed electrician. There are times where making an electrical alteration without diagnoses can actually create a dangerous situation. We must operate in a way that makes the home safe and meets the legal and liability requirements of our license. We continuously work to keep our prices competitive with other electrical service contractors providing similar service."

The service professional said he accidentally touched you but did not grab you and that you were very angry from the beginning but he did the diagnostic anyway at your request. This is the first time anyone has accused him of anything of this type. Please provide more information about why he was in the wrong for giving you a full refund."

We do ask that you would contact our office to discuss as there is almost always more to the story that is originally presented. We are constantly comparing our prices to make sure we are in line with other electrical service contractors similar to ours. As an added protection we do not perform any tasks without prior authorization by the customer which includes that the customer agrees with the price."

We believe that if you look a little closer and you will find that most electrical service providers either advertise a free service call or have a service call fee of which many will then have a promotion for a free service call. However, there is a difference between a service call of having a service professional arrive at your home and doing a diagnostic to find a problem. Please note that we did not charge for a service call but did charge for the technician's time and skills to figure out the problem.
