Rothco Tree Service

I contacted Rothco Tree Service and Matthew/Justin came out to visit and provide an estimate the same day. They provided suggestions on which trees needed trimming and worked with me to identify what needed to be done now versus what could wait. Once I purchased their Big Deal, a scheduler contacted me and they came out to perform the work. I returned home from work that day and had a full invoice of what work had been performed. My yard looked incredible with trees trimmed and the dead one removed. They also did an amazing job with cleanup!

The whole process went very well. I am new to the area and the day my wife and I signed the papers on our new home a large Pine tree in the front yard was struck by lightning. It was pretty obvious the tree was doomed. I found Rothco on Angies list and was pleased with the reviews. I called, left a message and was called back in a timely fashion. A rep came out to the house and gave an estimate the same day. The job was scheduled and carried out in the highest order of professionalism. When Rothco showed up to do the work there was nobody that seemed to need direction or anyone working on their equipment. They let the neighbor know they were there and what was going on as the tree was close to their house and driveway as well. Within 5 minutes of arrival there was a man on his way to the top of the tree and the process had begun. In no time at all the job was done and they were on their way. When they were gone you could not tell that a tree had ever been there and more importantly you could not tell that Rothco Tree Service had been there. A job well done. These folks seem to understand the best way to build a good reputation is with good character. I reccomend them for any tree work, large or small. I can see now we will need additional tree service in the future and I will go back to Rothco.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were excellent. I paid an additional amount for the services. They cleaned up everything and they did a professional job all the way around. I couldn't recommend them more highly. They came early and completed the job. There were 7 people here who worked for about 7 hours, it was pretty reasonable. They came when they were supposed to and they completed the job with no excuses.

I've hired many tree services, but Rothco provided the quickest, most trouble-free and complete service of any. They are unfailingly friendly and thorough, and they cleaned up after themselves. They did what I asked and I certainly feel like I got my money's worth.

The man who gave me the quote was very nice. He came out at the time he originally said. His quote was the second lowest, so I told him what the other quotes were. He agreed with me that I should go with the lowest quote. I will definitely use him again.

I am happy with them. They did good job and cleaned up after themselves. The price was average for a tree removing service. I would use them again.

They came out three weeks ago and they’re excellent. I had to pay them extra because we have them to do additional work. It’s my first time to use this company and they’re very good, very responsive and very courteous. They started the job on time and even fit us into a schedule that would fit for us. I pursue on going to this company because of the “Big Deal” and the ratings that they have on Angie’s List.

I Contacted Rothco after saw Angie Big Deal offer of $250.00 for tree service. The two young men who came came to my house were exceptionally prompt, friendly, professional. They agreed to remove a large dead pine tree , in an area difficult to access, for the Big Deal price. They returned promptly at time agreed upon with large, professional crew and efficient modern equipment. I was so pleased with their work that I asked them to do additional trimming on other trees, to which they agreed at a most reasonable price above the Big Deal. The work was done efficiently, professionally, and the areas in which they worked were completely cleaned, raked, and left pristine. All of this work was completed at a cost much less than I anticipated paying. The two young men in charge went to great length to please, and the entire experience was most pleasant. We weren't home when the estimator came out. He walked the property, and then took my description of what I wanted to have done. My husband had nothing but compliments for the crew. He said they were efficient and did exactly what they were asked to do. The price quoted above is before the Angie's List "big deal." The cost overall was $554 after discount.

Perfectly. They arrived when they said they would for the estimate. They returned at scheduled time to perform the work. The work was done quickly, and cleanly. They left no mess for me to deal with it. GREAT service and price. Highly recommended. They even helped trim a tree outside my reach.

Was very impressed. They showed up on time and were very professsional and got the job done quickly. Completely cleaned up and disposed of the debris from cutting down a very tall dead tree and limbs off others.

These guys were awesome! They arrived on time and immediately began working. They confirmed the quoted price upon arrival and even removed a tree my husband had downed. They were very professional, but most important, they were very careful. Theyused ropes to lower the branches so they did not impact the ground. These guys really know what they are doing. They are always watching the surroundings, being careful not to damage anything. The cleanup - well it was terrific. Our yard was cleaner than when they arrived. They even cleaned up the garage floor, where a small amount of saw dust had blown in. I would highly recommend them. It was refreshing to have work performed by such a responsible company.

5 MEN WITH TRUCK TOWING A GRINDER SHOWED UP ON TIME, PERFORM WORK USING ROPES, CLEANED UP AFTER AND WERE FRIENDLY TO TALK WITH.

We were very pleased with them. I recommended them to my neighbor. One tree was right in front of our with an evergreen right next to it. They did a marvelous job of removing that tree without damaging that tree. They are very knowledgeable, polite young men. It was a pleasure doing business with them. The only gripe was they way they hauled the logs. They did some extra things like extra cuts so that we could better manage the logs and use them for firewood. They took care of all the leaves and brush. They came very shortly to do the work which was good.

It went very well. They were on time, got right to work, cleaned up afterwards and finished in no time.

Perfect communication. Safely removed large diseased tree which was located close to our house, then ground down the stump to below lawn grade. Top-notch company that was very easy to deal with.

These guys are awesome! Third time we've used their services and will continue to do so as we need help. The brothers are kind, professional and when they are done working, it's cleaner than when they arrived. We had a tree struck by lightening and when they took it down, they placed a tarp on the ground to catch all the small pieces. Very impressive!

The first part of the job entailed Matthew meeting me at the house to survey the project and make recommendations. There were several great suggestions made that I had not even thought of. He was knowledgeable and very forthright about what should and should not be done given our desire to maintain curb appeal and a good amount of shade in certain areas without compromising safety and future risk to the house due to falling limbs. He actually met me at the house twice to make sure that the scope of the project was clear and that he fully understood my expectations. The end result was absolutely excellent work! Rothco went above and beyond to ensure that our expectations were met. Many tree trimming companies would not have agreed to help with some of the landscape clearing but Matthew and his team didn't hesitate. The job began around 9am on a Monday morning and they didn't finish until close to 5pm. All of the trimmed branches and downed trees are recycled which is a very nice component to their service...no leftover mess and we could feel good about the materials being put to good use.

We had a tall 80 to 90 ft pine tree in our backyard. We wanted this one removed as we planned on builing an inground pool and I didn't want the pine cones and needles to fall in it. I contacted them to get an estimate, they came the next day to look at the tree, we told them we wanted to keep 4 ft high stump to use as a base for an outdoor table. I had 2 other providers come out and bid on the same job, but they were the least expensive one (not from a lot though). Since we really like all the good reviews about this provider we didn't think twice. I send them an email on Monday and they came out on Wednesday. Nobody was home, when we came back the tree was gone, the yard was top clean, and we have a nice base for our table. We will more likely contact them again in the fall or next spring to get some of our other trees trimed properly. They are all very friendly people on the phone, easy to speak to. I can only recommend them. I had the $50 coupon from Angie's list but forgot to mention it, that's ok, I'm sure I'll be able to use it in the future. Thank you very much for the great job.

The service was excellent. Justin called me while I was at work to schedule their arrival. When I got home they were already there and had begun working on the dead tree. This tree was very tall and near power lines. The guys did a great job removing and cleaning up afterwards. We also discussed trimming additional trees that hung over my house and others with dead branches. All the work was done professionally and quickly. Justin and Matthew couldn't have been more pleasant to deal with. I would definately recommend Rothco to anyone looking for tree services of any kind and would use them again myself.

This tree was over thirty years old and had lost part of the top during a previous hurricane and was also suffering from recent drought conditions. Because it was between two garages and near the powerlines, I was worried that the next high wind would take this tree down and might cause a lot of property damage. I was looking for a reputable tree service on Angie's list and saw that Roth Tree Service had a lot of positive reviews and they were offering a great coupon for $500 worth of service for $249.00 so took advantage of this offer. I did have to pay an additional $175. because of the size of the tree and it's precarious location but even if I had paid the full $675. it was an excellent price for the work they did. When I called and explained the situation they set me up for a very quick appointment, much sooner than I had anticipated and were at my house very close to the time they promised. The work took over an hour, I was amazed at how fast, and professionally, they took care of everything including the clean up. Also I had ask if possible, if they could save some lily bulbs rooted deep at the base of the tree and a few smaller banches off the tree to use at the local Parrot Rescue; they were very accomidating and obliged me on both these request. I couldn't be happier and do plan to call on them again in the near future.
