My air conditioning unit is in my attic and it is a small area. The unit was actually backwards in the attic, which made it hard to service it. He moved it to where the front faces the right way for easy access for me. He cleaned up well and did show up on time, too. The guy I dealt with seemed to be very knowledgeable and was great about explaining things to me.

They did a really good job. I like that there were no repairs to be done as that really lowered the price that I had to pay. One of the guys even gave me some good suggestions on routine maintenance that I should do for both of my units.

Anderson's serviceman took the time to thoroughly examine the systems, to test them, to ask me about the number of occupants of the household, preferences as to temperatures, and square footage of the house. The estimate I got was about 60% of the estimate I had gotten from the first company (who did not look at all the equipment and didn't ask questions.) Where the first company advised me my ductwork needed to be replaced because much was blocked, disconnected, torn up, Anderson advised that the installed ductwork was metal, would last as long as the house, and that I simply needed to have it rewrapped. In addition, as the size required was between two sizes, I was asked whether I wanted to go with the smaller or larger system. I've opted for the larger one. The work is being scheduled for next week, so I expect to update this report later.

They did an excellent job and was very friendly with the service. When I called, I did not have to wait a long time to get an appointment and the job did not take very long to finish. I was so glad that they were able to replace the part because I really thought that I was going to have to replace the entire unit.

Very prompt, called when about 20 minutes away. Very professional gentlemen and with that said had a great personality and sense of humor about them. Great experience!

I was worried about getting screwed because of all the Dateline stories on AC Companies in Houston. So I tried out Angie's List and got these guys to come out. My wife is seven months pregnant and the heat was a bit much for her in the house. I was extremely pleased. They found the culprit right away, a blown capacitor. They showed up within about 3 hours of my calling. They had the problem fixed in under an hour. Before you know it I was up and running and very pleased. I will use these guys again. They have earned my business.

Air Conditioning was not producing cold air. Service Technician arrived exactly on time. Diagnosed problem, gave quote to replace. I then decided on them based on two other quotes, scheduled installation with Mike Anderson, he made his schedule work to meet my needs. Install was completed in two hours as promised and house cooled off in no time. Jason Belz was courteous, he did not leave a mess and performed the work as promised. Great Job!!!

I began with short cycling on one of the units. The technician diagnosed this a being caused by low freon but this was because of leakage in the evaporation coil. After discussion, he pointed out the the second unit was also quite old. While I could have waited to replace it, it was quite inefficient and mis-matched to the compressor. They quoted me for the total job, scheduled the work for the second work day and completed the job in about 4 hours. All as agreed.

I got home after a weekend trip to discover my A/C was set on 75 and blowing but temp was 79. Checked the list and called this company and spoke to a very nice man who answered and connected me to an equally nice dispatcher. We scheduled an appointment for just a couple of hours later and the repairman showed up exactly when he was scheduled and fixed my problem and checked the coolant, all within about 15 minutes. The repairman was very nice, knowlegeable and well groomed and I would definitely recommend this company and call them again.

I recently had the gas turned on in a rental house, and the furnace would not light. I first called another company and they came out for an inspection. I was told that my furnace needed to be replaced at a cost of $3100. I told them I was going to get another opinion first. That's when I called Anderson Air Conditioning. I met with Daniel and he explained that although the furnace was very old, it was still safe to operate and all it needed was a new gas valve at a cost of $475. He was very thorough and took his time to show and explain to me what was wrong. He also pointed out some other maintenance items that should be taken care of on the A/C unit. There was no pressure to fix or replace anything. There is no doubt I saved thousands of dollars using Anderson and I feel very confident with the quality of their work.

They finished the job in an entire day and did a really nice job and cleaned up their mess.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from this company. I have been searching for a reliable and honest heating and a/c company for 6 years without any luck. The person who made the appointment when I called was very polite and gave me a 3 hour window of time in which they would be there. When I asked him if they had a 40 foot ladder to check my a/c unit on the roof, he checked and said they could bring one. Ultimately the tall ladder was not needed this time because it was too cool outside to check the air conditioner. They called the morning of my scheduled time and said they could arrive earlier if I wanted them to. The technician was extremely polite, professional, knowledgeable, and answered any questions I had. I will definitely use them again.

The technician did a very thorough check up of my heating unit and found that the gas valve needed to be replaced. Since my unit was 28 years old, I opted for a new one. All the technicians involved were very nice and communicated well. They showed up on time, laid down a cover to keep my carpet clean, and swept up after themselves. The entire job took about two and a half hours and I felt like I received a very fair price, especially after using my Angie's List coupon. I had been using another company but decided I needed a second opinion after that company spent less than five minutes checking out my unit.

According to a former AC firm (1 of 4 that I called before joining Angie's) called to fix an upstairs cooling problem (the 2nd floor never would go below 78 degrees and on hot days the attic unit would freeze with ice and had to be shut off), a new control board that I acquired at wholesale cost would solve a cooling problem in the house since the 2nd floor AC unit was installed over 27 years ago. The previous contractor, who is on Angie's List, failed to come back after 60 days to install the new board. Finally, I consulted Angie's and chose Anderson. Anderson arrived timely and diagnosed my problem within 30 minutes. He stated that a new board was not the problem or solution. The issue was that the 2nd floor unit used the same return air duct as the 1st floor unit. Meaning when the 1st floor unit was on, the 2nd floor unit started backwards and actually blew the cool air back into the unit. I made the suggested ductwork and sheetrock repairs and the AC unit works like new.

He arrived promptly and performed the work in a professional manner. He went to great lengths to explain everything he'd done and describe the condition of the A/C and heater so I'd know what to expect in the future.

The company was very accomodating. We had a little scheduling difficulty (my electricity had a sudden "scheduled outage" the day they were supposed to come), but they were able to reschedule me promptly. The work that was performed was satisfactory, and the owner even offered to talk to my buyer if the report was not to her liking.

The first visit was to find the problem with the old A/C. When it was determined it was probably an electrical issue, they didn't charge us for the trip or check. After the electrical was cleared up, we still had problems so we called them back again. They did not push buying the new unit, offered it as an option along with others, and we decided that would be the best way to go. They also wanted to check any warranties on our old unit for us if they were still available. They were very punctual, friendly, and clean (wore slippers in the house). They will service the unit while the warranty is in effect if there are any problems. They were very quick to respond, and I will use them again for all checks & service issues. I highly recommend them.

They were very nice and very professional. Charlie came out and found the problem. Mike set up the repair time and Charlie and another man showed up on time if not a little early. They worked fast, were polite and I would highly recommend them.

I contacted Anderson and set up an appointment. They called me at the office 30 minutes prior to arrival. The repair technician was in my driveway exactly at the time he told me. He looked at the AC, showed me the problem and had me back up and running in a few minutes. He indicated that he would have to return with a second part to ensure complete repair within a few days. He suggested a delay timer and quoted pricing. We made a second appointment for the next week and once again, everything went smoothly.

Last spring they sent an experienced technician who did a great job. The check up went well, and he was very helpful. In the fall, however, they sent out a technician who was apparently new and in training. There was a language barrier which caused problems from the very beginning. He was inexperienced and unsure of what to do. I finally had to ask him to go ahead and leave. Fortunately I was able to make a few necessary adjustments to the heater myself to get it working well.

Anderson's is really good. I had bought my heater and air conditioner through them about ten years ago and I purchased a warranty. Whenever I have a problem with either one, Anderson's comes right away and fixes it. I have never had a problem waiting for them to come out; they are very quick to respond. They were just here last week to make sure everything was still in running order.
