Smoother and less troublesome than most such projects. From first contact to final certification by them and me, everything was pleasant, professional and honest. There was no "high pressure selling" and I definitely got the high performance, economical system I shopped for.

Service was courteous and seemed thorough. The representative arrived on time and spent time discussing what he found.

I tried to get this company to come to my home for A/C heating inspection; spring service type work. I scheduled the first appointment for 08:00 on 4/2. Around 08:40 the day of the inspection they called and said it would be later. I asked for a new date. I was scheduled for 08:00 on 4/7. Today (4/7) at 08:35 I called to find out when the technician would arrive. I was told the 8:00 appointment was an estimate. They said I should have been told it was 8:00 + 2 hours! Their web site clearly states "You select the day and time that best suits your needs and we schedule the call." It does not say a word about the 2 hour window. I canceled the appointment.

Came out and quickly diagnosed the problem; part had to be ordered. They called back late that same day to schedule the installation of the part; they were able to get in less than a day. Returned the next day to install and check the system to make sure it was working properly.

A knowledgeable salesman/technician helped me figure out what I needed for better efficiency and to eliminate summer hot spots. He gave a competitive bid on a Wednesday, then scheduled the work for that Friday. A crew removed 19 year-old condenser, 17 year-old furnace, coil and thermostat, installed new condenser, furnace, coil, media filter and thermostat and a new air outlet and connecting ductwork all in one day. They protected carpets during work and even vacuumed when done. House is now much more comfortable on hot, humid days.

The evaluation, estimate, installation and transaction went smoothly with no surprises. I think, I got a fair deal on the price and the salesman was pleased to explore a variety of options for me. My only slightly negative comment was, that I would have liked to see a more detailed estimate and final bill. The end result was very satisfactory however and the estimate and the final price were identical. The salesperson also, helped me apply for rebates with the OEM and the local electricity provider. Installation lasted one and one-half days. I met the installers, when they were finishing up the job and did a walk through, which included a check out of the equipment and an explanation on how the new digital thermostats worked. The installers laid down mats to protect the carpeting in the house and cleaned up when they left. Paperwork was quick and easy and prepared in advance. I paid by credit card. It has been two weeks, since the work was done and all is still well.

They were professional from the bid through the installation. They walked me through how the air cleaner& A/C were to be serviced. Unlike the other 4 bids that I got they did not try to scare me into buying a new furnace. Their price was 12% less than my highest bid and 7% below the lowest. Unless I have a negative experience later, I have nothing but the highest praise.

They came right away to give an estimate. We told them we wanted the system to qualify for the IRS tax credit. The first system they installed did not qualify and they came back and replaced everything. I felt that they should have done it right to begin with. They said that they were not knowledgeable about the energy efficiency tax credit, but when I went to their website, they have a link to 23 pages of units that qualify for the credit.

When my air conditioning went out in August, with 100 degree plus weather, I was desperate to get it fixed. I called three HVAC companies, and Walker's sales rep was the only one that really took time to explain to me, in a way that a non-technical person can understand, exactly what had to be done. He even called the manufacturer of the evaporator coil to see if any adjustments would need to be made. Nobody else even came close to that level of service. Plus, they offered the lowest price! I just found my new HVAC provider. A+.

Compressor stopped working late one evening, started calling around early the next morning. Walker was able to schedule same-day service. Joel arrived at the promised time, and was very courteous and professional. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem and performed a service check on the entire system, describing what he was testing (and the results) each step of the way. At no time was there any pressure to buy additional services. I felt the overall price for repair, system check and coil cleaning to be reasonable and will definitely have them back in the future.

I called A/C people until I got someone who could come the same day as my A/C was totally out. Walker came about two hours later, as promised. They performed the work quickly. When they needed a part, they went to get it and were back here very quickly. They explained the work they were doing to my understanding. They were cordial and professional throughout and my A/C works great now.

Technician was on time. I was given a window of 1-3 p.m., and he arrived at 2 p.m. He was very professional and polite, and explained all the options and what I could expect in the future. The ladies scheduling the appointments were also very polite and professional. A little pricey, I thought, but I'd still hire them again. I was pleased with the experience.
