I have used Riddell for many years and continue to return since they are very responsive. I called them on a Sunday due to a plumbing blockage. There were some additional problems and they had to return on Tuesday, but the team provided a comprehensive review to find what was causing the blockages. Steve was great, and I hope to get him again the next time I have to call Riddell!

Provider was prompt and courteous and even provided a quality control manager follow up to service visit. I will use them again.

We had had another plumber out who couldn't figure out why our water pressure was low and told us to call the city. city water man came out and said our pressure was fine. Turns out a water filtration system was the culprit. We were thrilled to have the problem solved. They are expensive but they are very efficient and thorough.

Other plumbing company quoted me at $350 "to start" to replace Angle Stop (water spout?) in wall behind fridge. New to TX, I signed up for Angie's List and found Riddell. Riddell did for $225, and was on time (called about 20 minutes ahead, saying on their way). Cleaned and swept up after job was finished. Very satisfied.

Great service. If you want it fixed right they aren't the cheapest but I feel they are the best.

Riddell's wrote their estimate with two repair options: 1) tunneling under the foundation and repairing the broken pipes; and 2) penetrating the foundation in the two distinct locations in order to access the pipes and repair them that way. My insurance adjuster, of course, preferred the slab penetration, and I agreed. Nick Riddell phoned me on the evening of July 4th to let me know that they had an unexpected appointment come available the next morning and offered it to me. They arrived, as expected, that Saturday morning, and they set to work, preparing the area, taping off doorways in order to lessen the amount of dust that made its way through my home. When I asked if they would tape an additional passage opening in the bar area, Andy, the team leader, began doing that for me immediately without any question. Andy and his crew were very polite - even stopping to answer some of my very inquisitive 4 year old son's questions about the work they were doing! When they poured the cement to repair the slab after completing the plumbing repair, they considerately left space at the top so that the flooring company workers would be able to properly float and replace the ceramic tile in the areas where they had done the repairs. The gentleman from the flooring company was very pleased and impressed with Riddell in that regard, as well. I have been very impressed with their efficiency and work ethic, and I would definitely use their services again. I highly recommend Riddell Plumbing to anyone who wants to give their business to a family-owned and operated plumbing company whose owner and employees work very hard to preserve the honor and integrity of their name.

Had problem with water not getting into dishwasher. Wanted to make sure no connection problems or water leaks. They went beyond to help figure it out. Couldn't repair it (mouse damage to pump) but found the problem.

We have used them for everything and they have been great at all of it! This past year they: --replaced 3 hot water heaters --installed a new kitchen sink faucet --installed a new PRV valve --repaired bathroom faucets --fixed toilets Their plumbers are knowledgeable, efficient, and customer focused. Jesse is wonderful to deal with. Jason in the service department is super responsive! They do excellent work and they stand behind it. We couldn't be happier! We recommend them to all our friends and neighbors. Thanks Riddell!

All went well. Although I had to call twice to get an appointment, they showed up on time (actually a bit early) for the estimate, provided a good explanation and a written quote within a week.

They were great. I really don't remember a service that great. They were extremely nice.

It went well. They determined the problem and got right to work. They had all the proper tools on their truck and fixed the cracked pipe within the hour. They replaced the pipe completely.

Technicians were thorough and explained why/how clog happened so that it didn't re-occur. Great job!

They did a good job. Overall, I was pleased with the installation. They took their time to do the job right. Only thing I noticed after the plumbers left was that they had reversed the hot and cold water controls of the kitchen faucet; but it's a minor issue which I can live with.

They're coming back today to do some work on my gas line in the fireplace. I've been using them for several years because of their reliability and professionalism. The workers they send out are really knowledgeable and they're willing to do anything that you ask them.

I needed two large gaslights installed on my front entry. The gas lines needed to be extended two feet on either side away from the front door. We have a brick facade, so about 10 bricks needed to be removed for the lines to be extended, then mortared back in, and the lights mounted. I talked to their office and described the issue around 8:30am, a team of two (including the supervisor) came to my house by 1:00pm, actually cut the holes in the brick instead of just looking at it, extended the pipes and left with a promise to return late the next day to give a brick mason time to fix the holes, so they could mount the gaslights. They came back the next afternoon and installed the lights within two hours. Total cost $515. WAY better than Baker Brothers insane estimate of $2650 without the brick work.

Repaired leaks under the house slab.

Called answering service and got a callback within 10 minutes. Was told up front that emergency service after hours (called at 7 p.m.) was charged at the rate of 275 for the first hour and 175 for each additional hour. Surprised me, but we went ahead. (We have only one bathroom, so getting this fixed was kind of important.) Was told that someone would be on the scene in about an hour. Zack showed up in 30 minutes, went right to work checking all the possibilities and eventually located and cleared the stoppage. Zack was courteous, professional and efficient. Got the job done in less than an hour. Have used Riddell before and will use them again.

We had numerous gas leaks in our 1940 home that were discovered when another contractor was installing a drainage system. First called another plumbing company who were unable to isolate leaks after spending several hours due to location of gas exchange and inability to access same. Called Ridell, they came out and were able to do what other company claimed could not be done without tearing up back porch. Ridell fixed main leak but discovered that gas lines were still not holding pressure. They worked for several days and were able to find several small leaks under the house and in one of the walls. The job was difficult and time consuming. While initial bid was not near what final bill was, they job turned out to be more complex than first thought. We had no hot water for 10 days but Ridell was persistent and professional. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

Well, in short it was bad. The kitchen faucet after it was set within a few days wobbled side to side when you would turn it on and off. The hot water and the cold water connections were connected backwards hot was cold and vice versa. One of our bathrooms where we had new shower values and trim put on continuously leaked. Another bathroom shower trim was so loose that when you turned on the shower you could move it left and right. The other fixtures didn't do that. It should have been more secure. So upon a second call to the house to set fixtures in the other bathrooms they corrected the kitchen faucet, switching the lines and for lack of a better word tightening it so it wouldn't wobble, they also checked out the leaking bathroom. The plumbers said it must be a faulty valve and I would need another one. No problem, I called the manufacturer, had them ship another one. The valve happened to arrive on a day I had a handy man here. Wanting to stop the continuous leaking shower, I decided to have him put it on. He took off the trim and discovered the valve was loose on the inside. He tightened it and since then it has not leaked. No need to replace it with the new valve. I decided to have him check out the other bathroom where the shower trim shifted from side to side. I don't know what he did to it but it no longer does that.

Riddell performed very poorly - even simple things like reconnecting the washer and dryer were done improperly. The washer hoses were reconnected backwards and the gas line was leaking. I hired Riddell because they were reported to be "the best in town". instead the workmanship was poor, the employees were cordial but unprofessional and the work was expensive but shoddy. They simply did not care about quality.

As usual Landon did a great job. This is the second time we used Riddell Plumbing. We had had such a great experience with Landon that we requested he perform our work. Same old Landon courteous, pleasant, and quick. Had the new disposal installed pdq and cleaned up after the job. He explained the ins and outs of the deposal and it's usage in detail to my wife and answered her questions patiently. O yes and waived as he drove off. We are hooked, no other plumber for us, Landon at Riddell.
