The plumbing part went very well. But I should have contracted someone else for the remodel because that did not go well at all. They worked with another contractor on the tile, etc. It was a big hassle. I did not get an itemize list of everything the price they quoted included. Found out that some basics like a bathroom mirror was not included. The tile contractor had someone else come do the painting and texturing which was a big mess. Someone else had to come fix that. And all he did was fix the texture. He never came back to paint. I had to hire someone else for additional expense to come back and paint. After many months, I still do not have a bathroom mirror so I will need to get that done. I have another bathroom to remodel but I will not get Baker Brothers to oversee any remodel. Again, I am very pleased with the plumbing work but they should not push a service if they are not going to fully vet the contractors they send to do the other work. I said I would use them again but only for plumbing. That is what they do well.

I called the company's dispatch operator at 1000AM and appointment was setup to evaluate work for 300PM. Technician arrived on time and quickly evaluated the problems. He presented a proposed work estimate (which was accepted). Based on the time of day and not having replacement toilets on the truck, the work was scheduled to start the next morning. He planned to do the repacking of outside faucets that afternoon but the weather was very bad and we decided it would easily wait until the next day. The next morning the technician returned and proceeded with the process of replacing the old toilets (they had to be chipped out as securing bolts were frozen). Upon removal of the toilets and evaluation of remaining existing structure, the technician felt that the existing flanges were still serviceable and replacement was not necessary -- this reduced the preliminary estimate by several hundred dollars. The replacement continued uneventfully and the faucets were repacked by one tech while the other was finishing the other was finishing the toilets. 1960s vintage toilets were replaced with low flow Kohler comfort toilets; water valve stems replaced; new flexible flow lines installed. All work areas were cleaned beautifully and all work was demonstrated to me before the techs left the site. My only issues with the entire process were two--both very minor: (1) I feel that the price, while acceptable, was on the high end of acceptable. The work was done very professionally and I deemed it worth the premium. (2) I am hyper sensitive to cigarette smoke and the tech went outside for a smoke break 3-4 times during the job. While he did not smoke inside, the strong smoke odor lingered for several hours. I recognize that for many this is not a detriment so I did not lower their rating.

I have been very happy with both services and the guy that did the drain cleaning did not make a mess and he was very professional. Chuck let us know tips to help later on and he even let us know what we should not have done. The service has always been great. They exceeded my expectations.

The repairs were made in a very professional, courteous and knowledgeable manner, and they came out the morning after I called. In addition, I had the service guy (Chad) check our water heaters and a few other minor issues we'd been having, and he was great at making simple adjustments for us without trying to sell us something we don't need yet. I will definitely use them again -- especially when we need to replace those two water heaters. Not knowing much about plumbing myself, I felt good that the repairs that were made were done with great expertise. I didn't shop the price (and haven't had to use a plumber without going through a warranty in years), so I don't really know if they are high or not.

I had an outside water line burst. I called several plumbers, but Baker Brothers was the only company that could come out the next day. Corey replaced the old iron pipes and hydrants and insulated everything. Great work. He also made the cover on the meter easier for me to remove. Thanks, Corey!

Besides having a bid that was almost twice the other guy's bid and being told there was only one way they could do the work when the other bid listed two ways, I decided this company was not one I wanted to do business with. The poor grade is from the bait and switch for the estimate fee. I consider this to be dishonest.

They did a good job and they were able to come the same day I called. I would definitely use them again.

Job handled very well. Michael M. reviewed all the work to be done. He gave me an estimate prior to the work being performed. The cost was higher than the work would suggest because my home Is older and additional work was needed to update/correct existing plumbing in the bathroom and the kitchen. This came as no surprise to me. Michael M. handle the work professionally and efficiently.

He was efficient and very polite and knowledgeable.

The rep had a bad attitude and did not clean up around the sink. It was very expensive and I won't use them again.

The plumber repaired the pipes and it was filled with dirt and cemented over.

In a panic, we ran to Lowe's and looked at water heaters. They told us that due to the holiday, they wouldn't be able to install for two days. We came home and I called Baker Bros. They told me that they would be able to install that afternoon!! I realize that I most likely had to pay extra since it was last minute and on a holiday but I really didn't care. They showed up and were very pleasant and took their job seriously. I used Baker Bros. once before and will absolutely use them again in the future.

They did good work but it ended up being a lot more money to repair than I originally thought with the discovery of the other two leaks. but I was glad they found that so it would be fixed right. The entire job took 3 full days. It was a large job, but I wish they had let me know they could be there up to 3 days. That would have mentally prepared me for how long it was going to take. Im sure it's a guessing game though. All of the workers were very polite and punctual.

Very quick, outlined what was needed and did a good job. Also had a company that would come and replace the brick work for an added fee which saved us having to find a mason. They were able to come the same day as I called, even the day before Thanksgiving!

Had to open two holes in floor due to concrete beam issue and was quite intensive, but they found and fixed the issue.

Our cast iron sewer pipes rotted out and we had raw sewage under the house. After a lengthy drying out process by another company, we brought in Baker Bros to replace the pipes. Josh with Baker had to dig out the pipes and tree roots, install new PVC pipe and fittings and put everything back together while working under my house. Josh was by far the most competent, conscientious and kind plumber we have ever used. Not only did he spend long hours in a cramped space, he thoroughly checked all my sinks and toilets to make sure there were no leaks under the house. And, he quickly adjusted a leaky toilet and fixed a clogged sink at no extra charge. He explained what he was doing several times to me and also to my wife and never seemed annoyed or impatient. (I am a little dense when it comes to plumbing issues) Very pleased overall with Baker Bros and especially Josh.

Replaced a tub faucet. A little expensive but definitely worth it. You get what you pay for.

From the start there were concerns but reviews were generally positive. I called and made the first appointment available 2 days in future. Got a call next day saying they made a mistake and could not be out for an additional 2 days or 4 days from call. When repairman arrived he looked at the situation and also assumed it was the hose based on closer inspection and water damage in cabinet. Next he began to remove the front plate on bottom of dishwasher. Unfortunately he did not have a star driver which is required and began to try and remove with pliers. I provided him the correct tool prior to his stripping the screws. After looking at it for another 15 minutes he appeared not to know how to remove the washer to get access to the hose in the back. He then made several trips back to the truck to call in and also to make calls to see if he could find a place to get a replacement hose. In addition, it was a rainy and muddy day and instead of taking his shoe covers off when he went out and putting them on when he came back in he just left them on and tracked mud all over the house. I guess he did not understand the concept. After an additional 20 minutes or more he said that we should call an appliance repair shop because he would have to charge $500 to replace a $5 hose and he did not know where to get one. repairman's lack of professionalism. Perhaps Baker Brothers does a good job on major plumbing repairs or maybe this employee is not qualified to be employed but I would certainly not use them for any kind of leaks that involve an appliance. I would not use them for anything just do to the

contacted them thru Home Depot, for a replacement cost of $79. When the guy got to my house , after he had removed old toilet he told me it would cost an additional $215. I asked why and it was to cut a flange out of the hole. I watched he do this. IT TOOK 5 MINUTES. I raised alot of h*** with Home Depot about this CROOK. Final result was H D refunded me $200. Will never use these CROOKS again

I felt like they were doing nothing but price gouging. I am use to plumbers costing an arm and a leg, but this was ridiculous. They were punctual. I sent them on their way.

Went fine & made suggestions when it gets clogged with hairs. Always wore covers over shoes when entering house. Receptionist always very kind & understanding.

I had heard good recommendations for this company. I set an appointment. They arrived and started searching for a slab leak which you could hear with your unaided ear. After 3 hours of searching they gave up and could not determine where the leak was. They summarily charged me close to $300 for their failed effort. The next company I called found the leak in 20 minutes and had completed the work in under 3 hours. I would not recommend Baker Brothers for slab leaks.

There is a local plumbing company, which calls itself the ?punctual plumber.? That is not Baker Brothers Plumbing. Our repair took three service calls. On the first two days, we received courtesy call indicating they would be here in 30 ? 45 minutes. In both cases they actually arrived about two hours later. I have to admit that the weather was turning bad on the day of the first call and we we?re still recovering from the icy roads on the day of the second call, so I could understand the tardiness. On the third day, we received the call but they said it could be up to an hour before they would arrive. On that day they actually made it in about 30 - 45 minutes. We called them for a water leak in our kitchen on a Wednesday. The earliest they could schedule a service call was the next day (Thursday) in the afternoon. That technician was able to determine there was a hot water leak in the foundation slab. The earliest they could schedule the repair was the next Monday. In the mean time he showed us how to turn the hot water on and off so that we wouldn?t have a constant leak. He also gave us three estimates for the repair work depending upon how many holes needed to be made and whether they needed to dig through a beam in the foundation. We were told they should be here around 8:30 to 9:00 AM on Monday and that they would call 30 minutes in advance. That Monday when we hadn?t received a call by 9:30 AM, I called them. I was told that we were scheduled for Tuesday not Monday as we were told. Not only were we forced to go an additional day without hot water on demand, but also we had to arrange to be home for a second day. (My wife and I were on vacation from work this week, so we didn?t miss any work, but we had to cancel a trip we had planned to the gulf coast.) Perhaps I?m being a little severe in my criticism of their punctuality since we were experiencing icy roads, but the Monday versus Tuesday scheduling mix-up really made me mad. They were not able to complete the repair on Tuesday, so our repair went into a third day. On the third day, they accidentally cut into the cold water pipe, so for several hours we had no water in the house. In Baker Brothers? commercials they say they can ?solve all your plumbing problems in the same call.? Obviously this was not the case for our leak, which took three service calls. All the technicians were very neat. On the second call when they had to jack hammer into our foundation slab, they laid down a path of drop cloths so they could carry their equipment in and the debris out. The even removed the remaining ice from our front walk. (This was probably for their own safety.) Our final cost was the middle of the three estimates. (They only dug one whole but they had to dig through a beam.) Bottom line is that I think they did a good job, but I am unhappy about the amount of time it took. I first called on Wednesday morning at it was the next Tuesday evening before our plumbing was repaired.

Repairman was polite and we were impressed with the quality of the repair.
