Company provided estimate based on a granite slab I had picked out. They went to see the slab and get the price from the wholesaler. Received estimate and agreed on work to be completed. Received a call during fabrication that the granite was crumbling on the edges so that we could not do a bull nose edge. This was the company's first time working with this type of granite. They had assumed it was similar to another type of granite. I had asked if we should stop and call the wholesaler about the material and was told that nothing could be done about it once they started cutting. The day of the installation I received a call that they would be late because they had to spend extra time because of the problems encountered in cutting the granite. After the installation, I inspected the granite and could tell where they had to put filler or expoxy where the granite had chipped during cutting. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Not only because of the chipping, but no caulking was done along the back edge, nor did it look like the granite had been polished. They did send someone out to fix some of the rough spots and he did polish the granite this time. The company did call the wholesaler afterwards and got a discount on the granite, however, I do not feel it was entirely the wholesalers problem. My recommendation to the company is that if they working with a new material, that a test cut be made to see how easy it is to work with. Also, I would have liked the opportunity to determine if I wanted the granite installed the way it was or purchase another slab that was easier to work with. Once it was installed, I was not only out for the cost of the granite, but also the fabrication and installation.

I called and immediately got someone. They said they could come out in the next day or so. They called when they were on their way. The work to be done was explained clearly to me and I was quoted the price up front. The fellow was extremely polite and professional. He worked diligently for two hours and did a wonderful job. My granite is like brand new. I'm so pleased!!

Robert, the owner of Granite Stone Cutters, did a great job from start to finish. He did everything promised on time and was knowledgeable and thorough. While deciding on the project, we had many questions. Robert worked with us on everything and guided us with good recommendations. He did a complete turn key project, including providing all materials. All the installers were courteous and did excellent work. I will use them again for future projects as well as recommending to family and friends.

They did a really good job but the only bad thing was that they had a plumber that wasn't very good. They have very good workmanship.

I went to their shop in Mckinney and selected a stone. Quintin came to my house and created a template and a couple days later they installed it. Very smooth transaction at a very reasonable price.

My experience has been really good so far. They've been very courteous and real prompt with their services. Their prices are very good. We've hired them to do it and they just had to take one final measurement so they'll start on the 18th of November. The estimate is about $5000 altogether.

I began by visiting their McKinney location and getting an estimate based on my measurements. Robert and Melissa were very helpful and were able to answer all of my questions. I took granite and travertine samples home and later went back to the showroom to finalize my color selection. Quentin then came to my home to obtain exact measurements and Robert finalized the quote. We scheduled the job and the installers arrived early the morning of the installation. As soon as the granite installers were finished, the plumber hooked up the plumbing and cooktop, and the tile installer began. The job was slated to take 2 days and was completed as promised. Once the job was complete, Sean came by to seal the granite, and ensure that everything was done properly and to my satisfaction. Minor punchlist items were taken care of promptly. Stone Cutters is very interested in customer satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them!

We called them and got through immediately. My husband described what we wanted done and gave rough measurements of all the pieces. The receptionist took down all the information and told us that there had been a couple of injuries on the work crew so they would not be able to service us immediately. My husband told her that it was not an issue. He was assured that someone would get back with him soon. We didn't hear anything from them for a week. We called again at the end of 1 week and left a message. We didn't hear from them for another week (2 weeks from initial contact). We called again and actually talked to a live person. The receptionist told us that they had some concerns with removing the piece of granite. My husband said ok and that we would sign a paper saying we wouldn't hold them liable if it broke. We were told that we would get a call back. It has now been 4 weeks and we have heard nothing from them at all. It would have been nice if they had just told us that they were not interested in our "small job" so we could find someone who would be interested. This "small job" was going to be a precursor to replacing all the counter tops in our kitchen but I guess we will need to find someone who is more interested in helping us.

Based on recommendations on Angie's List, I called and requested an appointment for an estimate for a granit or marble countertop for a bathroom. They wanted the measurements for the countertop which I supplied them before they would even come and give an estimate or bring me any samples. Because they are located in McKinney, and I live in Duncanville, they basicaly were not interested in my business and said it was really not worth their effort to drive that far for an estimate unless we were going to use their services.

See story from above.

Promptly returned our phone call.
Associate came to show us samples of Silestone because Mr. Beazley was out of town.
Following week Mr. Beazley came by himself and showed us more samples
At the time of the second visit, he gave us his written estimate and we hired him on the spot.
He and another member of his team then took extensive measurements of our kitchen
Work was started Thursday of the following week.
Beazley's crew did all the work: removed ceramic tile and backsplash, replaced it with the granite that I selected (the quality of the granite was superb) then they replaced the sink. After just one day, the sink was usable. The second day they began to work on the new Travertine backsplash. The finishing touches took more time, but we were fine with that. All in all, it took 4 days to complete the work, but it was well worth it! I was especially appreciative that the men did not rush me to decide which granite to select. In fact, they were more than helpful to show me many samples which contained the colors I was looking for. A man with patience - imagine that!

The company representative gave in-home written estimate. He brought the samples and pictures and explained to us what service they offer. We chose the granite from the samples, but later changed our choice after seeing the granite slabs at the warehouse. The estimate was much better than any advertised prices. We were very pleased with their professionalism as they were punctual with their appointments to measure and to install. All works were done as they promised with no hidden charges, and we were very happy with the experience.

I would have like to have started around 8 or 9 on the day of installation, but the installers didn't show up until after 1pm. The team was focused on the task the entire day and a half that they installed. The glue that was used created a lot of fumes that lasted for two days, but other than that, i have no major complaints. The end product was beautiful and satisfying. We are very pleased with the work.

Robert Beazley immediately responded to my request and recommended that I go to his fabrication workshop to look at stone countertops and the the backsplash tile that is in stock. The employee there was very helpful. I needed to update a house I am selling, so this was not a high dollar project. Robert understood that and respected the need for attractive but budget friendly work. The work was performed within days (after the freeze) and looks beautiful. Even though I did not spend much money on extras, the tile backsplash is professional and attractive, the countertops look great, and all the appliances were reinstalled correctly. Clean up was excellent. No damage to existing cabinets, floor or walls. We spent $2386 and received a revised offer of $8k more after the buyer saw the updates. An important part of this transaction is that I am 7 months pregnant, have 2 year old, and just moved into a new house. I don't have the time or energy to manage multiple contractors. Stone Cutters crew was able to effectively use the lockbox on the house, they provided a licensed plumber, and I paid one bill. I felt that they were responsible and professional.

Stone Cutters was prompt to come to our house to provide an estimate. Danny was very informative on the services they provide and presented a detailed line item estimate. After receiving other estimates, we decided to go with Stone Cutters and Danny returned to perform the templating. Due to our indecision on color choice, we visited their shop to view granite slabs that same evening. The team was very helpful in our selection and had the sink and tile backsplash on hand to check out. Stone Cutters had a very limited selection of tile, but was willing to install any tile we selected at an increase in cost. In the end, we selected their standard tile installed on a diagonal pattern. Stone Cutters then completed the fabrication within 1 day and arrived the following day for the installation. The team was respectful of our house. They arrived as scheduled and performed nearly the complete tear out and install in 1 day (although they worked until about 7:30 p.m.). I have some reservations that the tiles were not given time to set prior to grout, but the finished product looks great and I'm convinced Stone Cutters will stand behind the work if anything needs to be fixed. My wife and I had some unusual requests along the way (seam locations, supports for bar, etc.) and Stone Cutters performed everything as requested. My only complaint during this process was that the crew needed to use our extension cord, brooms, and dust pan to help complete their work (thus the only B in the ratings). The following day the final clean-up was completed and the granite was sealed. Stone Cutters also provided good maintenance instructions and repaired some very minor defects to my satisfaction. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied by the overall experience and the quality of work. We will definitely use Stone Cutters again.

We solicited bids from several companies, and Stonecutters was the most responsive, flexible and least expensive. One we decided to use them, my wife went to their shop and reserved the exact slab she wanted to use. We had several delays during the remodel, and they were able to help us out by doing an incredibly quick turn-around. They measured at noon on a Friday, my wife went to their shop to template the exact parts of the slab she wanted for the counters that afternoon, and they installed everything the following Monday morning!! The install crew was very patient in working around the clueless cabinet guys, and did a great job; no muss, no fuss. They will be our first call for any future granite jobs! If you're looking for a fancy showroom, look elsewhere. If you want a great deal and installation experience, go with these guys!

They were awesome and provided perfect customer service. They responded very quickly. They addressed all my concerns right away. I didn’t really have a lot of concerns. They were always very prompt in responding to my concerns and did that in a timely manner. They pretty much exceeded my expectations overall. I am in sales and so I know what to look for. I am very particular too. Robert and Danny were the owners and I worked with both of them. I also had interactions with their vendors and all of them were awesome. I can’t say anything bad about them. It was a good price. I would use their services again and I have also referred them to others.

From the original contact with Robert and Danny to the finsihed work - could not be happier. These guys have it together - every thing went very well - would definitely use them again. All the workers were on time and did their work great - with no whinning or foul mouthness. Work was completed in one day - about 12 hours at our house. Pricing was a major consideration - they had a great price. All told - my neighborhood (just my block) will have 4 or 5 homes done by them. We have all ready recommended to our work friends.

Stone Cutters is a granite and hard-surface countertop company, and we just loved them. They were very responsive, personable, clean and prompt. They were the most reasonable of all the companies that I talked to. Other companies were going to take 10 to 14 days to come out while he was out in 2 days, with the materials. The next day he had begun installing. They did excellent work. We paid $2400 for all of the granite for 2 bathrooms. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.
