Attention to detail was remarkable. Showed up on time, did quality work for a fair price.

I used Protek about a year ago to paint the interior of my house. They did a pretty good job that time so I called them again to get an estimate for painting some other rooms. After a week I called them back because I had not received the estimate. Whomever I spoke to said she was sorry and would email it to me. I confirmed the email address with her (this was the second time I did that). I never received the email. I called again one week later because I still had not received the estimate. I confirmed the email address, which she had written down wrong from the last time. Still no estimate. I called a third time and no one answered. I will not be using them again.

It was a very pleasant experience. The owner is a very nice man who was concerned with my home. If I saw anything I didn't like, they got it fixed right away. They were on time and worked long. They repaired all kinds of things on the outside of the home, and went above and beyond what was expected. The best part was, they didn't charge me until the job was done.

How many companies are there were the owner handles their teams personally? Kory not only checked on his team, monitored their productivity, but also stayed in communication with me before, after, and once during the job. This company is like having a family member painting in your home (but does a much better job)! I really appreciate the good, prompt, and courteous service.

We don't know why he never gave us an estimate. We discussed when we might want to do the work, and I told him within a few weeks. A few days after he came out to do the estimating, I contacted his office to find out when we'd get the estimate. His receptionist said the company was in the midst of moving its offices, so they were a little backed up. So I waited a few more days;nothing. My husband called a few days later. Nothing. I called a few days later. Nothing. Finally the receptionist asked if I'd like to speak with Kory on his cell phone. So I did. He answered, sounded harried, said he'd been busy and was behind. Then he said he'd look at my file that evening and prepare an estimate. Sounded like he didn't even remember who we were. We never heard from him. To rub salt in the wound, we noticed a week or so later that Protek was doing painting work at another home in our neighborhood. Go figure. We found another company that ended up doing a great job.

Very professional presentation. Communicated all steps that would be taken to complete the job. I hired this company over two others even though the bid was not the lowest. I was confident the work would be done correctly.

They did a great job near the end of the week/job the crew seemed a little sluggish but that would be my only complaint.

Mr. Cheatham arrived on time, reviewed the work to be done and gave a written estimate on the spot. I called the next day to schedule the work. He suggested purchasing a couple of quarts of different shades of the color I was planning to use and painting an area of the walls with each shade. I am glad he did as I decided to go a shade lighter than I had planned. A 4 person crew arrived as scheduled. They were polite and professional. They were neat and paid attention to detail. Due to a couple of unanticipated problems, the job took a day longer than planned but they solved the problems promptly and didn't leave until the job was done. An excellent experience overall.

Wanted to hire them to paint the interior and exterior based on this list. It took a week and several calls to get the first quote which was uncompetitive/ very high. Came out and re-evaluated and were supposed to provide an updated bid but they never followed up.

Protek was exceptional in all respects. The workers were polite and helpful. They caulked every exterior seam/opening that needed sealing; they covered all areas that needed protection from the paint; and they were prompt and skillful in their work. They not only paint, but do carpentry and drywall work. I would hire them again without question. Ask for Jose's team - they are excellent. I thought their cost was reasonable for the height and type of areas they painted, which had very high ceilings.

We've lived in this home over 24 years, hired several companies for a variety of home improvement jobs, and Protek is the best we've experienced! From the estimator to the painting and carpentry crew, everyone was very professional and very courteous. The crew worked continually from early morning to evening each day until the job was finished, and the estimator/supervisor was always available, either by phone or on the premises. If something needed to be touched up, it was dealt with immediately. The property was left in good order at the end of each day. The owners run a very efficient business, and we would definitely hire this company again. Thanks to them, our home is 70 years young!

I contacted Protek & they came to my home to see what had to be done. They said they would fax over an estimate, but I never received anything. I will not contact this company; this is not the type company I wish to deal with, especially when they do not follow up on their commitments.

They were very professional, courteous, accommodating and expedient. They painted the entire home within two and a half days, using four men at a time. The price was very reasonable for the quality of service and paint that we got. The price includes the different colors we used for each room and the also accents they painted.

I dealt with a Mark Jones, who was very professional and worked hard to help me figure out how I wanted the paint done and also even helped with the color selection. He was extremely polite, as was the crew who did the actual work. They were in and out as fast as they could be. It was a great experience.

The representative called the next morning after leaving a message and set someone out to review the scope and prepare an estimate. Mark was on time and professional. The estimate was prepared quickly, they started when they said they would, and were thorough, clean and did a great job. Changes mid-stream were "no problem." I would definitely recommend them.

Very impressed. Rep Mark Jones came over to give a quote the day after I called. His crew started work the next day. Finished the entire job in one day, and two hours the next day. Mark was very responsive to our needs, and made sure that we were happy with the work. The paint crew was professional and experienced.

THE FIRST DAY THEY DIDN'T START PAINTING UNTIL 1:00 P.M. WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE THERE AT 8:30 A.M. OTHER THAN THAT, THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB. THEY FINISHED IN 1 1/2 DAYS (THEY STAYED UNTIL 8:00 P.M. THE FIRST DAY BECAUSE THEY WERE LATE AND WERE ALMOST FINISHED THE FIRST DAY). I LEFT THEM ALONE IN THE HOUSE AND NOTHING DISAPPEARED. THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB.

FOUND COMPANY ON ANGIE'S LIST. HAD GOOD RATINGS HERE. HAD TO SCHEDULE FOR ESTIMATE 10 DAYS OUT. REPRESENTATIVE, OWNER, WAS FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, AND PROMPT FOR THE ESTIMATE MEETING. SEEMED KNOWLEDGEABLE. WAS TOLD ESTIMATE WOULD BE GIVEN WITHIN THE WEEK. CALLED OWNER 3 TIMES TO INQUIRE ABOUT ESTIMATE, CALLS WERE NOT RETURNED BY HIM. RECEPTION HAD NUMEROUS EXCUSES ABOUT DELAY. IT TOOK OVER A MONTH TO HEAR BACK FROM OWNER WITH ESTIMATE. DID NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY AS WE WERE CONCERNED THEY WERE TOO BUSY, OR NOT ORGANIZED WELL ENOUGH TO DO WORK IN A TIMELY, AND EFFICIENT MANNER.

KEN, THE ESTIMATOR, WAS GREAT. VERY NICE AND PROMPT, AND ESTIMATE WAS EXACTLY WHAT THEY CHARGED. THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK AND EVEN LEFT A CAN OF PAINT SO THAT I CAN DO SOME TOUCH UP WORK IN OTHER AREAS. AFTER GETTING ESTIMATES FROM SEVERAL COMPANIES, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND PROTEK.

MARK CONFIRMED THAT THEY WERE BONDED AND INSURED AND EVEN LEFT A PAMPHLET OF PAINT SAMPLES FOR US TO SELECT FROM. THEY PROVIDE A 3-YEAR WARRANTY. I GOT QUOTES FROM 5 DIFFERENT COMPANIES AND PROTEK SEEMED TO PROVIDE THE MOST INFORMATION AND GAVE ME A FEELING THAT THEY REALLY CARED ABOUT DOING A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

THEY WERE POLITE AND EFFICIENT. I RECOMMEND THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
