Had a little trouble coordinating a day to come out, but that was due to cold weather snaps. Once they got a good day they came right out and it was done in no time! Really easy going, nice guys to work with.

My neighbor had referred this business to me months ago. My dryer had been shutting off before clothes were completely dry so before calling in a repair service for the dryer, I decided to have this service done. I've been in my home since 2005, this would be the first time having the vent cleaned. They were super nice and appeared knowledgeable, gave me some background and responded to questions and concerns. They climbed on the roof and began to pull up the shingles around the cap which immediately caused me concern. He assured me it would all be put back secure and he would talk to me about benefit of replacing the cap that was originally installed with the home. He used the normal tools that sweep the vent, but I didn't really have much buildup. He had taken before and after pictures and showed them to me. They also checked the vent hose from the dryer to the wall and found 3 dead birds. I have no idea how long the birds had been there and never noticed a smell of them dying. They recommended replacing the terminator cap which would prevent critters and birds from entering through the roof. The price seemed more than reasonable to have it done and have it done by a professional. I have been able to run the dryer since having the vent cleaned and was hopeful that solved my problem. Unfortunately while I can dry a load or two of clothes, it has shut off a few more times. But at least the dead birds are out and hopeful with the new cap no more will enter. I would highly recommend this service provider!

I called for an appointment during the busy season. They were very responsive, had a tech in the area and came later that same day. They did a very good job of explaining everything to me. Kept the area clean with drop cloths and cleaned up on the way out. Very good work and I would be happy with using them again in the future.

Martin and George were always prompt and on time and were a pleasure to work with. My old sideboard chimney was 27 years old and had started to leak and rot in several places. All of the old trim and sideboard was removed and the chimney frame was strengthened to be able to support the newer, concrete laced sideboards. The entire chimney was then caulked and painted a color of my choosing. While painting, they were also very careful not to get any overspray on my fence or my brick walls. The job site was always completely cleaned at the end of the day. They even used magnets to find all of the nails that had fallen into my mulch. The job only took 2 full days to complete and looks wonderful. Martin and George both take great pride in their work and it shows as the chimney is absolutely beautiful. I waited to file the review to see how the chimney acted in a rain storm and the chimney is sealed perfectly - I have no leaks what so ever. Martin always made sure I knew what they were going to do and when they would be doing it. He also took as long as necessary to answer any questions that I had. It was a pleasure because I could tell that he was happy to take the time and that both he and George are two of those rare individuals that take great pride in a job well done. Earlier this year they swept my chimney and I got the same great quality of work. I am able to gladly recommend them to anyone needing any sort of chimney work.

When I called to set up appointment he was able to come the next day. He arrived a little late but called ahead and let me know he was on his way. Finished both jobs in about 30 minutes. They were courteous and professional. The total price was a little higher than some of the other companies on Angie's list, but I have a thing about trying to employ local , privately owned business so I was o.k.with it.

After we returned from vacation we heard lots of baby birds chirping in our laundry room and the crew came out very quickly and removed the nest and birds. They also found some nesting material in our dryer vent. The checked all additional vents (6) and they were clear. We were very pleased.

Martin Ledesma and his crew did a fantastic job getting my old 1940 era fireplace and damper in working order. First, they cleared out the dead bees and discarded honeycombs from a bee infestation that had taken hold of my chimney for the last two years. Then they created a custom chimney cap with a decorative pattern that matched my porch rails in addition all of the work to make my fireplace function for the first time in 22 years. Martin was great at returning calls and keeping me updated on the status of the installation efforts. Hale's Chimney is certified by all of the major certifying agencies in the US for this particular service industry. They were wonderful to work with and I recommend them highly.

I had used them before. They were prompt and on time. They got the job done quickly. The overall experience was excellent. I would use this company again in the future.

We have our dryer vent cleaned annually in the spring and had it done in March of this year by another company. The performance of the dryer did not improve and I finally found Hale's Chimney Cleaning and Repair on Angie's List. They were able to do the work the same day that I called. The technician removed a massive amount of lint from the dryer vent which made it obvious that the other company had not done the job properly. The amount of lint also posed a fire risk and we are fortunate that we had no issues before they were able to clean it properly. The technician thoroughly cleaned up all the debris outside and patched a tear in the dryer vent hose as well as cleaned up thoroughly in the laundry room. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the service performed.
