I have used this firm in the past on new installs (3500) and on Misc repairs.
They are good and fix most anything on the first call with reasonable rates.

When I got the preliminary estimate, I decided to get a quote on extension sprinkler heads (probably for the same price as Lowes/Home Depot, and without me having to go to the store, buy them and attempt to install them myself), and had him install these too.  
I highly recommend this company (I understand that the neighbor also had great service with this company, and I did not check with him before contacting them myself) and based upon their overall A ratings, almost l00 ratings went with them and loved the service and quick,  efficient service, punctual too at a time convenient to me.
Andy is a professional, pleasant customer service oriented employee and is a real asset to this company.
I recommend this company as business of the month, or honor roll.  Great job, I will  highly recommend them to my collin county friends and neighbors.

When we contacted them on Tuesday, 07/15/2014, they said a service man would be here on Saturday 07/19/2014 between 8 - 10 a.m.  Jorge arrived at 7:50 a.m.  We knew about the broken pipe as we had seen the water going everywhere when we watered the yard last. This is the main reason we called them.   Also, my husband had replaced the head that the lawn guys broke but they hit it with the edger and broke it again.  He identified that one for repair and replaced it. He checked out our entire system for other heads that might be broken or spraying in a wrong way or any other issues that might need his attention. On the head that he replaced that we had also just replaced, he straightened it up in hopes that the edging crew doesn't hit it with the edger again.  He was done with everything in  under an hour which completely amazed both my husband and I.  We were very impressed with his professionalism and how quickly he assessed and fixed everything.  We will definitely use these guys again for any sprinkler system issues we may have.

I have an old system. Jorge did a good job repairing and replacing a few broken parts especially the buried valves. Also added a new head to cover a dry spot. A good job overall and will use again.

CCS Sprinkler was excellent.  They were very responsive and gave me a well designed quote and there prices were reasonable.  The work they performed was excellent.   The best part of my dealings with CCS Sprinkler has been their service throughout the sale and after the sale.   They took the time to go over how to run the system for me and to help me with the initial programming, not just programming it for me but providing good advice.   Steve and Justin, the manager and sales person, are excellent.  Super service, do what they say they are going to do and very knowledgable.  Great guys.  Ruben, their service manager, is AMAZING!  He provides an incredible level of service and it is a very pleasurable guy to deal with.  I had a sprinkler line that got cut by another company who was laying sod for me.  This happened about a month after CCS put in the sprinkler system.  I called Steve about the issue and Ruben was out the same day and fixed the problem in about 30 minutes.   Bam, problem solved.   Amazing service by CCS Sprinkler.  I highly recommend them!

Great customer service throughout, on phone and in-person. Personalized service. Quote was reasonable, installation was done in one day, follow-up appointment to teach us the system went well. Landscaper went a bit farther out than planned on flowerbeds and buried some sprinkler heads. Ruben came out and helped us quickly, moving the heads and making sure everything runs smoothly. Great company! Glad we decided to go with them.

I am sure they are booked for the rest of the following weeks but blowing a customer off by stating
"someone" will be calling you soon? Come on! At least have  the nerve to say we are not taking anymore

The tech showed up right on time and promptly and expertly fixed the issues.  He was very competent and professional.  The service was also quite reasonably priced.

Collin County Sprinkler & Lighting (CCS&L) did a great job.  Jorge was very professional and did an outstanding job.  Although the scope of the project ended up being a bit larger than anticipated, the pricing was in-line with the work performed.  I would absolutely use CCS&L in the future for my irrigation needs.

Very good service from start to finish.  Carlos was prompt, performed the work and was very thorough.  I have used this company before and will use again.

They installed a new foundation drip line. and even snaked the drip through my flower beds, to avoid having to buy a new sprinkler controller (my current controller is full, and they converted the flower bed pop-up sprinkler phase to this drip line).

They gave me instructions on how to use it as well and even installed an indicator valve so I can tell when the drip is on.  A+

They did a wonderful job on the repair. They were very responsive. They came out and fixed it. They were very reasonable. They did it quickly and efficiently. Apparently they were having some problems in the front office, but the estimator who came out, acknowledged that and said that they've been working to fix that.

they were 30 minutes late, and communicated that with me prior. I had to leave and we conducted business via mobile phone. They were able to locate the leak and repair as necessary. I was able to pay the invoice over the phone the next day after the crew turned in the invoice.

The technician was very knowledgeable and polite. The company was very helpful from the moment I called them. They were able to do the work in a timely manner. It only took around an hour to complete and appointment was made within a few days I called. Every one I talked to from the customer service on the phone to the technician making repairs, answered all my questions. I would use this company again.

I used CCS last September to do a system check and fix a bunch of skewed sprinkler heads.  They were efficient and priced competitively and I was very happy.
This March I called them and Jorge came out to fix a leaking valve.  After he fixed that in about 30 minutes (including a full system check), I asked him to look at the rain sensor which had stopped responding.  He checked it out and said the sensor needed to be replaced.  He finished everything right at one hour and told me the final cost was $269, which seemed high.  
The hour tech visit was $85 plus $34 in parts (valve and wiring), but apparently they have a set fee of $150 for a "rain sensor replacement visit" which is half parts and half labor.  To me, if you get the whole job done in under an hour I should only be paying for the rain sensor parts and not the extra labor fee.
I called their office after the fact to see if they agreed with what the tech charged me and they did. Essentially I got charged $109 in parts and got charged $150 in labor for one hour of work.  A bill of $200 would seem reasonable but I feel like I got screwed.  I have a feeling if I called them out to fix the rain sensor and had them fix one valve on the side, I would've only been charged the parts on the valve and not an extra $85 tech fee.
Buyers beware: Ask about the cost of EVERYTHING upfront.

I have had with my sprinkler system had been properly addressed. The "mysterious" leaking, the coverage,
the pressure of the nozzle and everything & anything under the sun. The man is a walking wikipedia!

Installed 9 zone system, 7 sprayhead zones, about 80 4" popups and risers, and 2 drip zones with about 300-400 feet of drip line, including front shrub area and foundations. Warranty 3 years on materials and labor. First visit, Justin evaluated the yard and provided bid for eight zones to install the system. Then I realized that I had forgotten to tell him that I wanted separate drip zones on the south/east side of the house, where the ground tends to be drier. So I called the company and asked them to do that. That changed the 8 zone system to 9 zone. They were gracious about it and did not increase the cost. Installation was about a week or so after I called them to accept the bid, took one full day (on a Friday). Earlier they had had the City come out to mark the underground pipes and lines. The workers took a full day of hard work to do the installation but they finished on time and cleaned up after themselves very well. Very courteous, polite team. Then Monday, Ruben programmed the system and showed me how to use it. I commented that the extra drip line was because the south and east side of the house was drier, and he commented that that was because it got more sun. I hadn't known that, but it made sense. His explanations of how to program the system were clear and helpful. He indicated that if I had questions later about the programming, just to give them a call, as there was a three-year warranty on the system. I used the Angie's List coupon of $100, so the original bid of $3,400 became $3,300. Overall: Very, very exceptional, high-quality, conscientious company. I was impressed with the quality of all the people I dealt with. I had obtained bids from two companies, about the same bid from both, but Collin County was the one that seemed both motivated and that took an intelligent approach to evaluating the issues. I got good information from them, from both Justin and from Ruben, also when I called the office to talk to the people there. I felt that the company really understood irrigation installation, and I had a lot of confidence in all of the people there. I am very glad that I chose this company and feel that I made an excellent choice. Couldn't have gone better. I think they deserve an A plus.
