Showed up on time and got right to work. He was very professional and considerate of our home, covering up our furniture and being careful to move anything nearby away from the workspace. Very happy with his work, haven't had any issues as of yet.

The work went great. The door trim had to be taken off and moved about a 1/2 inch. The door was hung and the trim was moved and caulked and repainted. The area was left clean and the door was hung perfectly. The employee was super professional and extremely good at what he did.

The roof jack for the HVAC was leaking and Mr. Handyman came out to repair and charged $209-I went back into the attic after it rained and found it was still leaking - Mr. Handyman came out again and once again after it rained I found it was still leaking. Mr. Handyman wanted an additional $150 as they stated they need to replace the roof jack - I requested a refund of my $209 as I did not receive the service I had hired them for. They refused to provide a refund. I plan to hire a roofer.

Kitchen one was no problem, but the bathroom ones were difficult. It took longer than expected, and cost more than expected.

Easy to schedule and coordinate. Ian was the "handyman" and he showed up on time, had a clear quote and did the work in around 8 hours. It was on budget and within the expectations I had going in (there was a big hole from squirrels and lots of other extensive water damage to the eaves and soffits). Included labor and materials. Fully cleaned up and did a couple of extra minor fixes).

It went quickly and completely. We were surprised with their speed and competence.

The gentleman was here right on time, and did a great job. I actually had forgotten to mention one spot but when I mentioned it for a future appointment, he assured me it would be no trouble to include it that same day. He worked without pausing until done with the whole job. Would definitely hire this company again, based on the courteous and professional job done!

I spoke with a lady who told me they charge by the hour, at a rate of $160/hr. She said just to come out, they would charge me $160 with a 1 hour minimum.

The technician came right on time and got right to work. He was pleasant and efficient. We would definitely use Mr. Handyman in the future.

I'm a previous Mr. Handyman customer.  This experience has made me not happy with the service or reponse of the owner of the company to resolve the issue in a fair way. I will never use this company again for my home repairs.  The dyer wasn't drying the clothes the repair person said he fixed the dryer by removing the lint. The same issue was happening with the dryer after he left so this was a lie. I was charged time for this company to fix a doorbell they installed a month earlier. He fixed the window screen just fine. In the service request I asked for him to tighten the table. Instead of doing this he tightened the chairs. I was seven months pregnant and had to leave for work. I confirmed with the repair man before I left all of the repairs that needed to be done. He didn't call me after he was finished to confirm the repairs he did. 

I was charged $375 for him to remove lint from my dryer, fix a window screen and tighten four chairs I didn't ask for. When I called the office to get this resolved the receptionist was very argumentative and I was told that the dryer had been fixed. If there were more issues I needed to call an appliance repair company. I then spoke with the owner who
justifyed me paying nearly $200 for lint removal. He refused to credit me back or send someone else out to resolve the problem. He did offer to send the man out to tighten the table. At that point I didn't want this company in my home as they have behaved unethically.

The front door faces south and the exterior surface had weathered over the years we that we have been in this house.  The wooden bench along with an ornamental six foot long Japanese style wooden bridge over a stream in the back garden had weathered and needed staining.
I called Mr. Handyman and set a date for the work to be done.  I was given their rate. A call out rate which was set and included the first two hours, and then the hourly rate for longer jobs. 
At  8:00 am Eric was here and ready to check what needed to be done. As I did not have any stain he could use he went out and bought the correct product.  He removed the door, sanded away the old stain and varnish and refinished the exterior face.  When it was dry he rehung the door.  The finishing coat of varnish would be put on another day after the door was properly dry.
Julian arrived later in the day and stained both the bench and bridge.
We agreed upon a time and day for Eric to return to finish the door, but the Houston weather got in the way of this.  So almost two weeks later at a mutually agreeable date he returned to finish the varnishing arriving again at 8:00 am.
We are extremely satisfied with the work both Eric and Julian completed. They worked hard tidied up afterwards and made sure we were totally satisfied before they left. John the owner also stopped by to check that we were happy with the way the work was progressing.  
The weather prevented a completion of the work until nearly two weeks later. With many companies it would have been difficult to get them to return after this amount of time.  But Mr. Handyman contacted us to arrange when to complete the work, only charging the hourly rate this time round.
We would certainly recommend Mr. Handyman

I have utilized Mr Handyman several times since we first bought our home. They've hung chandeliers (including 2 story and over the stair light fixtures), installed ceiling fans, removed toilets for flooring install, and disconnected our gas appliances and helped us move them as well. I plan on hiring them again to fix parts of our flooring that another company screwed up. I would truly trust them with anything and recommend them to everyone.
