They came out very quickly, determined what needed to be done to fix
leaks around my chimney, dormer, and fixed loose deck boards.  Since the
repairs were made we have had serious rain storms and there are no
problems with the repairs.

They came out while I was not one.  Did roof inspection and cleaned off all debris from trees.

Nick drove out to our house on Lake Conroe to give an estimate, was on time, courteous, helpful, and listened to what we wanted done instead of trying sell us on things we didn't  need.  Our red Mediterranean style roof had some mildew buildup which we wanted cleaned & was also in need of a few minor repairs from poor workmanship when our home was built.  After a few minutes inspecting the roof, Nick gave us a fair quote & let us know he could have a crew there in just a few days.  The guys showed up on the scheduled date & did a great job, completely hassle free.  Our roof looks 100X better after pressure washing & the repairs look great as well.  Would definitely use again & would highly recommend!

The technician called and told me he was running behind.  It was not a problem for me since I stay at home. When he arrived I explained that we noticed evidence of previous and existing water damage in our upstairs cielings.  He inspected the roof and in the attic and provided me with pictures of the damage.  It was far less extensive than we had expected and someone was sent out 2 days later to complete the job.  There was no pressure to spend money on things that were not necessary. I would definitely use modern roofing in the future if we have other issues.

They did an excellent job.  This was the first time I used them.  They missed the appointment the first time.  But when they came back out, they were on time.  They didn’t try to upsell.  They worked diligently and did what they were supposed to do.  There were two workers who came out and they did the job in three or four hours.  There was no unexpected incident.

Modern Roofing did a good job cleaning the gutters.  I was not home when the guy arrived because he was about an hour late, but he started anyway and did a good job.  I would use them again.

Did a very good job.  Cleaned the roof of the house, detached garage, and all of the gutters.  Removed some gutter screening, and hauled away all of the trash and debris.

Two men came out and before I even knew it they were finished.  They worked together and got the job done and cleaned up after themselves.  Happy with this deal!

They left a small mess in the backyard which I feel could have been cleaned up; however, they did perform a great job of cleaning the gutters.

This job began as an effort to find out the source of a leak which was causing a stain in the ceiling of a first floor bedroom in a two story house.  Joe Shirley, the father of Nick Shirley who manages the business, came out and quickly located the problem in rotten wood around a window frame on a second floor window.  This was after climbing all over the roof and caulking some nails. That was on a Saturday.  He sent me an estimate for $970 and I talked by phone with Nick about doing it.  To illustrate that other windows needed attention, he broke off part of the wooden frame around a first floor window.  Another Joe who is an excellent painter showed up to do the work the next week.  Due to the weather and extremely cold weather we were experiencing, the job was interrupted several times.  I was not concerned about that as this is just one of several things I am trying to do to my house.  But I did become concerned when Joe told me he was near finishing and that his instructions did not include any work on the lower part of the front of the house.  So I sent Nick Shirley an e-mail and asked him to check with his father as I thought I had communicated my desire for him to repair the lower window frame once he broke off the piece and showed it to me.  I didn't get any response and finally called and left a message.  Apparently, this company is better at telephone responses.  Once Nick heard from me he sent Joe the painter back and told him to complete what I had had in mind.  The painting is excellent and makes the front of the house look much fresher.  The process was very instructional for me especially since I am embarking on a lot of work that needs to be done on my house.  I need to be sure I am clear in what I am expecting and the contractor needs to be more clear in his estimate - "front of the house" meant different things to each of us.  Anyway, it was a good experience with great results and I would certainly hire this company for any service they provide which is far more than just roofing.

It had been too long since the roof had been inspected so I bought a deal for a roof inspection and tune-up.  Modern Roofing did not disappoint.  They came out when they said they would, told be exactly what was going on with the roof and proceeded to make many minor repairs to the roof under the deal.  While they told me that the rook still had some serviceable life I am choosing to replace it now and Modern Roofing is one of the contractors I asked to provide me with a quote.  I have not chosen the contractor yet but but I would feel comfortable with Modern Roofingif I choose them.
