They were great to work with from the estimate all the way to the final Product. The room looks amazing. All the workers were nice and just really did a great job. We have received tons of compliments. Eric was on top of everything and kept everything moving. We would use them again for sure.

Eric was great to work with and he explained everything done well. He and his crew did a great job at installing everything. After the french drain was put in, we had a pretty good storm come through and I don't have standing water in that area anymore. I would definitely hire again for other work.

Mr. Fowler was very responsive and communicated very well on the project and his guys did absolutely beautiful work. There was an initial glitch regarding scheduling which delayed the completion of the job for us. Also, even though he accepts credit cards there was a bit of a push back on taking them due to service charges and asked that I pay part of the service charge. I feel like this is the cost of doing business and should not have been transferred to me, however, I did pay it as I was so pleased with the work. I think Mr. Fowler and his team do incredible work, are very professional while in the home, and communicate very well and approach the project in a very organized manner. If I were to use them again I would just stick to the originally proposed schedule and either pay cash or have noted in the contract that credit card processing fees will not be transferred to customer costs.

I told Eric i was extremely busy and wouldn't be able to spend much if any time at the property and he handled everything, yet was very good about getting my input and making sure they were meeting my standards. Also im color blind and left many of those decisions up to Eric and he did a great job. The house sold in a little over 4 weeks.

We met and discussed our needs after a major flood to our home. We also discussed options for what type of improvements were possible and how much it would cost. Eric’s team started within in just a few days of our acceptance of his initial proposal. We knew we would be adding items but wanted get begun as soon as possible! Eric was onsite supervising each activity by his team. He was always available by text or phone if something came up. Plus he was on the job site almost every day for months. Eric also did construction work himself as needed, and took the time to explain options when they found issues in our walls, floors, plumbing, etc. We collaborated on several design options to improve our kitchen, stairway, laundry, cabinetry and trim/molding. I really enjoyed our collaboration to make the outcome as best as possible while still being cognizant if prices. His cabinet guy was amazing. He knew his sizing and proportions. He was able to adapt to my requests, answer my questions and worked hard and skillfully each day. His painters and tile folks are so nice and easy to work with. The work they do is beautiful. Very good people. Our project was very large and stressful for us — since we had flooded about five feet of water. Yet, we also had the opportunity to improve areas of our home. Eric helped me through many of the enormous amount of decisions. I would recommend Distinguished Designs for a home remodel or construction project of any size. I have already recommended his company to several neighbors and friends. One special note: When we were interviewing builder’s/construction companies, Distinguished Designs was the only one of several that had a good solution for overhauling the look of our 80’s style open staircase into a beautiful new wood design that we had always wanted without breaking our budget. Thank you for this! We also purchased many of the materials ourselves (like the wood flooring) yet his team handled all the installs. They adapted to our needs yet kept the project safe and with permits.

I would hire Eric again.

Superb!!! Eric Fowler and his various teams were quick to respond to this emergency. He rapidly assessed the situation, provided detailed but easy to understand explanations of the many steps of the project, and started the work before mold became an issue. He accommodated several modification requests and kept the property clear of ugly debris piles throughout the project. He even beat several competitors to earn my business. The townhouse looks better than new! I couldn’t be happier!!!

Excellent work, professional (English speaking) crew, very detail oriented, clean, done very thorough. Please allowed more time than you think it would take, quality work is not fast! Schedule way in advance. If your job is quick and dirty, this is not your crew. We are extremely pleased and would (and will) hire them again.

Eric and his team did a beautiful job with my new master bathroom as well as tying in and extending my hardwood floors into my family room. Having one’s home under construction for any period can be stressful but it was much less so for us as all were professional and polite. I never worried leaving my house while they were working and enjoyed their company when I was home. I will be using Eric and his team for any future projects at my home.

Very nice outcome. Very professional company. Eric and his team take allot of pride in their work and produced a high quality product (very good design, quality custom cabinets and paint job plus new granite countertops and a new sink). The project took a bit longer than initially planned but we did have some scope additions and the company was also very conscientious to make sure that all details were fully taken care of. They pay attention to ALL the details. The custom cabinets are incredible! Eric will work with any budget. The project went over the time schedule but weather was a factor this year. We would definitely use him again and recommend him to friends and family. Definitely worth every penny.

Despite the disruption and peak activity due to hurricane Harvey, Eric and his workers worked very hard, did a great job and finished in a very reasonable time period. Workmanship is high quality. Eric was very proactive when questions arose, making very sure to understand exactly what we wanted. All in all, they were very professional and respectful of us and our home. Eric's bid was not our highest or lowest offer, but we got good value for our money and are extremely happy with the end results. Great. They were professional, cleaned up before they left every day, very polite, and very meticulous about the work they were doing. I highly recommend them.

Our first appointment was 9/21/17 at 11 am. We had to leave work and drive from downtown to meet them. They never showed up. They apologized saying there was a scheduling mistake and rescheduled for 9/22/17 at 9 am. This is also required taking the day off of work to be home during a time when money is scarce. They again failed to show up. At a time like this I cannot believe a company this highly rated on Angies List would treat potential clients like this. We would not recommend this company to anyone who values their time and is desperately in need of rebuilding.

It was an extensive job and Eric and his crew did a great job. He is willing to work with you on your budget and bends over backwards to please his clients. He is very responsive to calls, emails and texts. He was also very quick in helping me with our rental home that got some water damage from Harvey. Very quick to respond and do the job. My girlfriend and I recently bought a house , it is older and thus needed a good deal of work done. Eric was in constant communication throughout the job with us so he could get every detail right. He also suggested some innovative ideas which made the bathroom look even better! We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
