Excellent! Several contractors refused to give us what we wanted. We have a house and detached garage. The garage roof had no damage -- no leaks. Only the house needed repair after Hurricane Laura. We have red roof shingles. No contractor would get us the red. They wanted us to use what they already had, and to replace both roofs. So, we waited with a tarp over the house. Now, in July of 2022, the roof started to leak and red shingles are not being produced now, for whatever reason. We found Coastal Roofing Specialists and set up an appointment with their Rep. Austin Sonnier. He came, saw that the garage was fine, then went way out of his way to locate red shingles for us. Which he did, and they were almost the exact same color as what we already have. He had to contact several distributers to find the shingles. We hired Coastal, and the crew did an excellent job. They conducted their self in a very professional manner; kept the site clean and hauled away all debris -- not a scrap left in the yard. The job is guaranteed for 5 years and the cost was reasonable considering we have a full 2 story house with a very steep roof and a wrap-around porch. I would recommend Coastal Roofing Specialist and we would definitely consider them for any other roofing work in the future. Thank you Coastal Roofing and a big thanks to their Rep. Austin Sonnier.

It did not work out at all, I waited for 3 weeks to get someone to go out to my just keep getting the run around about who was going to be there when. I could not get anyone to return my calls. I do not suggest using this contractor at all!!

Job was done with care and professionalism. They took special care of our plants around our home. They took care to remove all nails and loose debris from yard. Would recommend them for any jobs that they do.

I would not recommend this company. Had some workers that worked on my roof that damaged my siding and gutters. This was pointed out to the owner and he did not and would not fix or repair. Also, my roof leaked after the first rain we had and he sent his worker after 3 days of no show to just calk after I asked him not to do this as I was told by a third party that this was just a temporary repair not a permanent fix. We were not home to even show him where the leak was and they calked in the wrong area. Also, be aware that he does not want the home owner home to point out things they are doing wrong. Ex : trying to roof over rotten wood and paid for 30 lbs felt but was he trying to use 15 lbs. He did admit this was his error after it was pointed out in the contract.

I spoke with six companies about replacing my roof. You would not believe the nonsense I heard from others.  Coastal Roofing was very honest from the very beginning. The estimate I was given was very detailed and fair. Coastal Roofing was hired, and a  work date was set. The crew showed up on time, on the date agreed upon. The crew was always very considerate of the yard and clean up. The job took a little longer, than what I was told. This was due to wood being replaced.  Really nice job when finished. The foreman (Charles) did a walk through when done, we both agreed all work was complete. One hour later, the owner of Coastal Roofing showed up, went up and inspected the work done. Everyone I dealt with that works for Coastal Roofing takes pride in their work. Honest and hard working, nice to find a company like this.

They were very thorough on cleaning up all around the job site upon completion of job.

I had a major leak in my roof. I found very few nails anywhere once they were finished and have had absolutely no problems since.  In fact it is even better since their is no longer a gap between my gutter and roof.  I am very pleased with their work.

A guy came out on time. He was very professional. He climbed up on my roof, looked at everything, gave me a written estimate. I had received at least 3 other estimatates and didn't end up going through him because his prices were just much higher than others.

They called and arranged to come the following week. Rain delayed the repair initially and we had a little phone mixup, but when I called the following week to see about getting them out before the next rain, it turned out they had come when they had opportunity and made the repair already. I just had to arrange to meet and pay the remainder of the fee. Unheard of! They fixed it when I wasn't there to pay to beat the rain! Yeah, it seemed a little pricey, but it was right in line with the other quotes I got and they went out of their way to make sure I got fixed before the next rain. The shingles were matched so well with the existing ones that I can't tell where the new ones start and the old ones end. The leak is fixed, and as I already mentioned, they did the work and I wasn't even there to make the final payment How trusting!

They came out pretty promptly and they were really nice to deal with. They had work on the roof before and it leaked again so they came back out. I had gotten good recommendations from other people for them so I'm sure they're good but just in this case, they had to come back out again and charged us to do that. They want it guaranteed for 3 months and I got them to do it for 6 months. Just after the 6th month time, it leaked again. So we called them and they did come out but they said they would charge us and for the discount they would give us a year's warranty on it. I'm not thrilled with them but the roof was not their fault. I was just a little bit disappointed with how they handled things and also because it was 2 weeks past that 6 months mark and was hoping that they would not charge us for it. I would just say they were okay.

They were fine. They were quality. They were thorough. I would probably use them in the future.

Extremely well from start to finish.  Owner was punctual,courteous and did everything he promised.  Workers actually worked all day with very little stoppage.  We were very pleased and have and will recommend Coastal Roofing every chance we get.

We would definitely recommend using Coastal Roofing  for any repairs or complete jobs. Mr. Sonnier , along with his employees, were not only professional but very courteous. They also cleaned up after their job was complete.
