MOLLY MAID OF DFW METRO NORTHWEST

After checking the reports and referrals on Angie's List, I contacted Molly Maids to perform a "deep cleaning" of our house. In discussing the size of the house (Approx. 3700 SF) and going over the list of items that we wanted specifically addressed, I was told that it would take the 2 housecleaners 5 hours to complete the house at the rate of $75/hour or $375 total. Knowing that it should not take 10 person/hours to complete the list and clean a house our size (especially "professionals"), I still agreed to the rate and booked the service. When the cleaning team arrived, the first problem was one of communication. Neither spoke English well enough to discuss what needed to be done. We managed to get by using hand gestures and pointing things out. After being told that the master bedroom and bathroom were completed, my wife did a quick inspection of the work. She immediately noticed that certain furniture and the lamps on our nightstands had not been dusted along with the vanity mirror in the bathroom not being cleaned. After pointing this out to me, I showed it to the cleaning team, which corrected the problem. This however continued to be the scenario for the entire engagement... a partially done job only completed when we pointed out obvious things to them! Even after they left, we continued to find areas that were not cleaned thoroughly. Towards the end of the initial 5 hours, one of the cleaners told us that they would need an additional 45 minutes to complete the job. Shortly after, we got a call from the Molly Maid office saying that they it would take an additional 90 minutes to complete, because the "large" number of window blinds that needed to be cleaned put the cleaners behind schedule. After agreeing to the additional hour, I was also told that the cleaners would stay until the entire house was done...no matter what additional time was needed beyond the extra paid hour. It took these 2 "professionals" 7 hours and 15 minutes to complete the house, doing an average job at best!! While the cleaning team was very nice, this is not the level of service that you should get for the price!

I spent $130 on their service. I liked their thoroughness. They were all very professional. Their most recent cleaning was very good. Their price was fine. I will continue to use them in the future.

Arrived ontime and worked efficiently, thoroughly. Asked questions about various cleaning tasks. Alerted when the pre-arranged time was up, but agreed to stay later because all rooms were not yet finished. Left them unsupervised for the last hour to finsih up. They did all that was aked, cleaned up, and took out the trash bags.

I have been using Molly Maids (Lewisville) every two weeks for the last two years and have been very pleased with their performance. Only once in that time have I had to call the office - I did not feel they had completed work in the kitchen. They responded very quickly, having a team come the next day to complete the work. The team of two is very thorough, all mirrors and bathrooms are gleaming, carpets vacuumed. Would highly recommend.

They have been great. They are very thorough and they move the furniture. They do a great job and the kitchen always looks great. They will change a bed if you want them to. They are very trustworthy, and they are just a good group of ladies.

They were a little bit above average. They were fairly punctual. They do a decent job with the cleaning. They are not overly detailed with the work. I will continue to use them in the future.

Two women come each time in a company car. They stay a couple of hours and do a fine, consistent job cleaning. They always leave a card with their names and they are almost always the same women. I always get a call the Friday before they come on Monday with a general time they are coming (very helpful to know). I've never had any trouble with anything broken, misplaced, or poorly cleaned. It's nice to work with a company where you know you can count of them showing up every time, on schedule.

Very pleased with the thoroughness and friendliness of the 2-person team. Will definitely use again.
