"Hello Mr [Member Name Removed], Were sorry you feel this way. We sent a manager to do a free estimate to determine if we would be able to do the repair. However, with you needing 9 or more tiles to be replaced and only having 9 tiles this is not enough. in our experience when removing tile it can loosen, or damage other tiles next to the repair area. If we attempted to replace the 9 tiles with only 9 replacement tiles there is a very very good chance we would run short a few tiles because of breakage, Which we explained this to you. You'd expect for us to be responsible and replace the entire floor (at our cost). As a company that is something we just simply cannot take the risk on. Sorry we couldn't help you with your repair. It only took us a few minutes to determine that your repair wasn't something we wanted to take a risk on. But we could help if you wanted to replace the entire floor. We never once tried to push a new floor on you!!!!! Just offered it. So as a small family owned business it really hurts when a customer like you puts a negative review when we haven't done anything wrong!!!!!!! all we did was tell you no. The installation crews for both our carpeting and wood flooring projects were outstanding. They minimized dust issues (e.g., from removing old carpet and padding, hand-scraping, and sanding). They cleaned the work areas at the end of each work day. They did not cause any damage to walls, windows, etc.
All personnel with whom we interacted for these projects were professional, courteous, and genuinely interested in meeting our requirements. I would not hesitate to use Design Floors in any future projects.
