Smooth and quick. Mario explained possible causes of the problem and gave a couple of options. He did the work in not-so-hospitable weather and in a timely fashion. Great experience overall.

smoke test revealed no leak. Serviceman was very helpful and professional. Helped as much as he could, and looked for ways to save us money. In the end, C&W is on the pricey side anyway, and it seems that - as a rule - they now DON'T waive the call out fee, even if you have a service performed, which really pushes the cost up.

My water heater in the attic began to leak heavily. The shutoff valve from the builder was rubber seal type and it also had failed to work so I had to shut the water off to the house. They were able to come out same day and replace my water heater. The shutoff valve was upgraded to a brass valve, the gas line was brought up to code by adding a sediment trap and a compression fitting was added to the overflow line to bring it up to code. The installation looks very clean, better than before. Devan was professional and very easy to talk to.

Mario was wonderful, my faucet is very unusual and there was no access to the pipes without making a hole in the wall. But Mario was successful in repairing it without tearing into the wall when most would just give up. C and W is a great company and very professional in every way. Thanks Mario!

I called C&W to when my water heater quit. My old Kenmore heater still had 5 years left on the guarantee but Sears said it would be 3 days before they could even schedule an appointment and that all guarantee service had to be done by Sears. C&W came out the same day and had a new Rheem heater installed that afternoon. They did a great job and the new heater works as it should. A couple of days later a garden hose bib started leaking so I called them back to fix that. Even though it wasn't an emergency like the heater they came out that afternoon.

C&W charged me $49 to come out to the house. The technician could not identify the problem either. He suggested $385 charge for a leak search, but would not include the cost of a repair. I called another plumber. No service charge. He cut a small section of wet sheet rock and found a leaky copper pipe. He gave me an estimate and fixed the leak for a total of $325. C&W $49 service call charge was worthless, and the total repair cost with C&W could have been double my actual repair costs.

Unfortunate Experience. C&W tech did an extremely poor job and feel that there is some possible dishonesty with this company. We had a leaky Bathroom faucet. Didn't know it at the time, but the only problem was a Moen Handle cartridge that needed to be replaced. I did the work myself after watching a You Tube video on how to diagnose. Parts were about $40 and it took me 30 minutes. That was the fix. Now let me share what this tech told me: - "It looks like you're going to have to replace the whole faucet system. You'll need to get the the faucet and call us back. (about $160 for the materials) - Because it's so hard to get to, you may need to get a whole new cabinet and sink (about $500) - Our quote for Labor on this repair is $406.86 I'm thankful that I had the sense to detect a red flag. The red flag was that he never turned off the hot and cold. I did that and turned them on one at a time and found that it only leaked on the Hot. Which means there is only a problem with the Hot Handle. I was done. Had I listened to this tech and bought his story, it would have cost nearly $1,100. As it was, it only cost me $40 in parts. I was impressed that the owner immediately offered to reimburse my $50 for the service visit. I'm not sure he was as alarmed about the inadequate or misleading diagnosis the tech gave. I write this because I'm hoping no one gets swindled. Had this happened to my parents, they would have been more trusting and shelled out a lot of money over this misleading diagnosis. This may be a good company with a bad Tech. People may be use to paying out large sums to this company without question. This is probably the most disappointing contractor visit I've ever had from a contractor in our McKinney home. Be careful.

We had a leak at our house that we couldn't diagnose for several months. Being on a pier and beam house with no water leaks under the house we narrowed it down to being somewhere in the yard, but where?? I called C&W, they set up an appointment for the next day, showed up on time, maybe even a little early. They explained exactly what they were going to do and ended up being able to repair the leak. The cost was more than we wanted to spend, but was much less than it could have been. We appreciate their professionalism and their ability to get me on the schedule quickly. We would use them again.
