They were great, professional and were very helpful. He walked through and around the house and helped us understand all the potential issues that could come with foundation shifts as well as what we should do to prevent it going forward. Great service, great value!

They were really friendly and gave me good advice- they suggested waiting to see if the new watering plan would be enough. I later hired them to do foundation work.

I learned not to buy the Big Deal before speaking with the service provider through this. We contacted them and they were booked out for several weeks and we needed the work done quicker than that. They were nice enough to get something on a Saturday to do it quicker but they never showed up for that visit. They missed their appointment scheduled and they said they wouldbe at our home on a Saturday. We had to call just to find out they were not coming. The lady on the phone was very nice to work with. Every time that I sent a message it would take a couple of days to get a response. The phone help was professional and the inspector failed to follow through so he was not.

We had purchased a big deal for the service. He gave me a couple of planners, and said that if it doesn't work, I should call him back in 3 months.  He was friendly, he gave a look around, he sent me a follow up email with the map of my property, and he didn't try to upsell anything.

Inspected my foundation and gave me a quote to repair.

He gave me a plan to use a soaker hose and where I need to add water to bring the foundation up.  He even sent me an email of how to use the hose correctly and included a drawing of the foundation so that I can see where the problems were.  I called to have a new scan of the PDF drawing, but they never did call back on that.  I'll give them a call about that.

Had trouble getting appointment, probably due to their busy season but once connected went very smoothly. The tech was very courteous and professional. I really appreciate that he was honest with me and letting me know that nothing needed to be done at this time. He also provided tips on watering for my area. Would definitely use them again.

Jeff Kattner, was one of 6 companies to quote the job.  He was very through in his measurements and diagrams.  After selecting A1 Guaranteed  Foundation, an independent structural Engineer came to the house to verity their plan.  We have zero lot lines in my neighborhood and over half of the work was conducted in my neighbor's yard. 
The job was completed in 2 days as planned.  A total of 22 piers were placed and 2 existing piers were adjusted.  Cew chief Lewis and his crew arrived both days on time and started work immediately.  On the first day all of the piers were dug and pressing of the concrete cylinders were pressed into place.  The chimney was left overnight with multiple hydraulic jacks in place.  Next day Jeff returned to personally supervise the lifting of the foundation.  He directed each stroke of the jacks to uniformly lift until it met target.  After the lift was completed and shims were in place, all of the crew left except 3 men.  They remained to fill each hole,  tamped the dirt and concreted the garage and sidewalk holes.  They removed all of the extra dirt into their trailer.  Job completed by 4:30 pm.     All clean and the soil was leveled.  My neighbor and I were pleased.
Three weeks later the engineer returned and conducted measurements and inspected the work completed.  The Engineering company issued the Engineering Report.  To finalize the project a plumbing company conducted a plumbing test to determine if there was water or sewer pipe leaks.  His report completed the warranty requirement from A1-Guarantee foundation. 
Over all very pleased with their work.

It went well. We would recommend them to others. It was a good value and they had good customer service.

I need an engineering report for the foundation, but after I bought the coupon I learned that they don't provide such report. So I have requested to refund the $55 coupon.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out fine. I did not pay anything other than the big deal purchase. They seemed to be pretty thorough. They were honest as to what I needed and what I did not need.

Kevin was very easy to work with, very thorough and spent a great deal of time answering questions and double checking everything. At the end of the day I definitely got some solid advice here... some of it was common sense, but a lot of good nuggets of information specific to my home too. I think the part that impressed me the most was the work ethic - Kevin spent several hours on this when he could have probably fulfilled his obligation with a half hour of work... but he took the time to address my concerns, double check and provide the best advice that he could. Kevin didn't feel my home required any work, so I can't rate his actual foundation repair.. but I can vouch for his honesty, expertise in this area and credibility.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. He told me some things, so for what I paid for the deal, I am satisfied. I had good service and he reported what he thought I needed to do. All in all I am fine with the experience.

I was very impressed with the service provided. Kevin walked around the outside of the house using a notepad to sketch the house position on the lot and make note of any obvious signs of foundation issues. He came inside and used an instrument that provided elevation changes on the floors going to all rooms. He was patient and answered all of the questions that I had. He explained that some minor elevation shifts are common due to the initial foundation pour being slightly out-of-level. He pointed out where trees can affect watering needs. I am fortunate that after 10 years my house is not experiencing anything out of the ordinary. Kevin emphasized that anyone who may have an issue should get several quotes before having work done to the foundation because the estimates can be several thousand dollars apart.

I didn't end up using the company, but the service was great.  It was just a little pit pricey, and I found a better quote.

Well as we suspected we did need foundation repair. One complete side of our home had sunken/fallen due to the level of the yard. We have a natural slope to the yard and the side of the house affected the most was where the yard was lowest. I was amazed at the process. The guys started at 8am on a sat and were completely done by 5 that afternoon. One day, that's all. We had 22 concrete piers driven down to the point of refusal on 2 complete sides of the house and a partial on the 3rd side. That means that 22 large deep holes were dug in to the hard Texas clay around the house. One of the holes had to go in the middle of the concrete patio. So they dug out the jack hammer for that one. I did not envy these guys at all. When all the holes were dug and the piers set, Jeff called me out to watch the actual lift of the house. Each hole that was dug had a jack in it set on the concrete piers and the men were in the holes (all you could see where their head and shoulders sticking up out of the holes) jacking the house up in unison with each call from Jeff. I watched as gaps in the mortar closed up tighter with each call from Jeff to lift the house again. It was amazing to watch your house move like that. The overall experience with this company was great. They also do an outside inspection with an individual engineers company before and after any work is done and they have the plumbing checked for leaks after the foundation is completed. Unfortunately, we did incur a leak afterward. The plumbing company that came out said that it was a large lift and PVC pipe does not handle stress and movement well sometimes. So we are getting the plumbing done and will be ready to move forward again with other plans.

It worked out fine. I didn't spend any more than the cost of the big deal and they came out on the 23rd. He was a nice guy, professional and he answered my questions.

Great.  Had no issues.

I decided it would be wise to have at least 2 inspections.  I had another very reputable foundation company also inspect my home, inside and outside around the foundation.  As he was performing his inspection, I was with him and he was showingme how the tool he used worked and explained what it meant.  After that we discussed his findings and possible options.  His final directive was to not do any foundation repair at this time.  He said that it was not severe enough to warrant piers and gave me several procedures to follow in the future in order to maintain a steady moisture level surrounding the entire foundation.
I have decided to follow his suggestions and wait to see if things level out.  I will follow his specific direction for June through September and hopefully that will take care of things going forward.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. Because of the government shutdown we decided to put things off. But the guy came out and was prompt and professional. We did not have the work done. They came out a couple of weeks after I purchased the deal because they were pretty tied up, but that worked out well for me because I had things to do.
