The team that showed up were on time and professional, but easy to talk to. They explained exactly what they were doing and had a follow up email the next day with all of their results, and suggestions to prevents problems.

I think they are very UNRELIABLE people. Kevin came two weeks back and took levels of my house. He left saying he would send me a report on my email within two days. He said he could not figure out the problem and would send his partner Jeff to see what the problem was. Kevin never called me back. I called his company two times but no response. The secretary who took my calls was polite. I think this company cherry picks they jobs they want to do. I have seen other reviews here where Kevin DID NOT RESPOND TO OTHER PEOPLE AND NEVER SENT THEIR REPORTS. I DO NOT THINK THIS COMPANY BELONGS TO ANGIE'S LIST.

They came out in a timely manner and I got an estimate from them. The guy was nice enough, very thorough, answered all my questions, and gave me some suggestions about things I could do. It wasn't too much that I required other than information and knowledge, and then an estimate then I'll make a decision. They stood on a couple of other estimates. It's not a crack in my foundation but the bricks on the house, there's been some fiddling or something of the foundation and so I just wanted to get that estimated and repaired.

The back half of my house has been experiencing some cracks in the ceramic tiles and walls. Kevin contacted me shortly after I purchased the special on Angie's List in order to set up an appointment. He arrived promptly and was courteous and thorough. He took detailed measurements of the level of my foundation at various points in the house. We ultimately decided that I would start frequent watering of the affected areas with a soaker hose. He will remeasure in 4-6 weeks to see if there has been any improvement. After the appointment he followed up by email with a report of his inspection and a quote of what it will cost to fix the affected areas should the watering not fix the problem. Should the foundation repair become necessary, I will provide a follow up. In the meantime, I highly recommend both Kevin and A-1 Guaranteed Foundation Repair.

Kevin arrived as scheduled. He was great - inspected and did measurements around the house and sent a detailed report. I was happy that he recommended additional watering rather than expensive repairs.

Jeff was quick to send us the specs of our property and what was needed to correct the problem.

Went well until he left, they were suppose to map out a drain plan and email it to me well that never happened.

I brought a new house and to just get the peace of mind I ordered for the $49 foundation inspection, Kevin did a masterful job of evaluating my foundation and he clarified few of my concerns, he sent me a report in email for my records. Money well spent and I will use A1 Foundation for any of my future needs.

We interviewed 6 companies before choosing A-1 Guaranteed Foundation Repair. There is a reason that they have top ratings with Angie's List, HomeAdvisor and the BBB. A-1 was not the least expensive of the 6 companies, nor was it the most expensive. We were impressed that they went over every step of the process, explaining what would happen, the results they expected and why they felt 35 piers were necessary. They insisted on an independent engineer's report, both to confirm their plan prior to the project and following the lift to ascertain that the desired result had been achieved. Ditto for a plumbing inspection so we knew up front that there were no leaks causing the foundation problems, and afterward so we knew there were no leaks caused by the lifting process. They were very upfront about the chances of saving the shrubs they had to remove (just about nil in August!), and the crew worked in some very tight spaces in order to avoid having to remove some of our big hollies, instead choosing to trim away the back limbs in order to have room to work. They were very honest and even stopped work in order to tell me that a new crack had opened up while the brick fireplace was being lifted--no surprise because they had told us in advance that new cracks might appear because we had such a long way to go in a couple of areas to get the house close to its original position from 20 years ago. The crew was here for 3 days and was very nice, polite and answered any questions that we had. A-1 wanted us there during the actual lift, and they explained every step. It was amazing to watch. Finally, they cleaned up the chaos that had been created by having to dig and jackhammer 35 holes around our foundation, including repairing any remaining small cracks in the mortar. Bottom line is that we felt we were in capable hands and we got a great result. We have already recommended A-1 Guaranteed Foundation Repair to others and will continue to do so.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out wonderful. They gave us valuable advise. They are very professional and honest.

They added 4 new piers underneath a bathroom, reshimmed existing piers to level out the floor and fix the door that was leaning. Replaced 3 rotted joists under the bathroom and repaired the rotted subfloor under that bathroom. Kevin and Jeff came earlier to look at all the cracks in the walls that had appeared because of a leak underneath my house but because of all the water they could not have a look there but they took measurements everywhere on the walls and promised to come back later when the water had disappeared which they did. They took measurements again and then wrote an agreement of the work that was needed. The team of 5 or 6 guys who did the work were very professional, very courteous and explained everything they did including taking photos underneath before and after.

Very punctual and professional, presentation of options were impressive, follow up a little delayed but overall responsive to queries. A little bit on the pricey side, I recommend working with them, but try to have several companies come out and bid first. Overall, I think they're trustworthy, job wise!

Great guys, punctual & professional! Thoroughly inspected our foundation and presented a detailed quote for repairs needed as well as explained the work that would be done. Have not scheduled the work just yet as we have a few projects ahead of this, but plan to soon.

On time and courteous. Very professional. Rechecked measurements that were questionable and figured out it was because my garage slab is a little lower. So no problems were detected. They seemed really honest and didn't seem like they were looking for problems to show me. If I ever do have foundation issues, I would definitely want to work with them. Highly recommend.

The guys arrived on time and were very courteous, even taking time to acknowledge my overly curious chocolate lab. They entered the house and talked to me about my concerns. The house had a foundation repair before we bought it in 2008 and I wanted to be sure it hadn't shifted since then. I pointed out a cracked foundation corner under the garage and they confirmed that the damage was only super ficial and that a concrete mason could fix that. I showed them water damage on the botton part of my siding around my back patio and they reccomended I consider getting someone to replace the siding. They also gave me suggestions on how to properly water my foundation. After the walk through the brought in some equipment and took foundation measurements in the house. Since I had a previous engineering report, they were able to confirm that there had been no measurable movement and that no additional repairs were needed. It was a great price for getting a little more knowledge and ease of mind that there has been no additional damage. I would easily refer them to my friends and family.

A gentleman came out, went around and told me what the problems were. They're good it's just that I don't have the finances yet to fix my foundation.

Watering plan was basic and generic (common sense) expected to have much more detail like based on specifics on my environment. But overall service as expected.

The visit to our home was great, with professional work and recommendations for what needs to be done in the future. The work was efficient and done well.
