Everything went very well. The guys were prompt and professional, and were very conscientious of the time frame. I was a little worried at first because there were only three men, but they had a system which made the move smooth and no unnecessary stoppage. I would most certainly recommend this company to my family and would use them again if needed.

Went great, they were efficient and fast. Really appreciate that. The minimum charge is for 2 hours of service at 120.00 per hour. You'll be surprised just how fast the time flies by. I had a full home of furniture 2. Bedroom sets, living room armoire, 2 couches, cofffee table, 2 side chairs, patio set, 3 heavy wall bookshelf units, kitchen table, chairs, dining room set hutch, table, server. This all took 4 hours including the drive of 26 miles. Great deal

Great, the men warped each furniture piece with moving wrap. Handled furniture with care. Got furniture relocated to new home. The men worked very hard and quickly. Very pleased with work!

Dave was extremely helpful in planning for move, made excellent suggestions which saved me time, money, and worry. The movers were great-- efficient, friendly, and helpful. You can trust these guys!

Clear Lake Movers is wonderful!. I hired them to move some large and heavy items, such as a big sofa and u-shaped executive desk, from my old office in Pasadena to my new office in Nassau Bay. They were very professional. They communicated well with me about their arrival time and actually were able to arrive a little earlier then my original appointment (after clearing it with me first). The movers worked quickly and took great care not to damage my furniture or the facility. They made moving the furniture look so easy! It took them 2 hours to move some things that I would have taken my family an entire weekend to move. They were also very reasonably priced. I would definitely hire them again in the future. I actually regret that I did not hire them sooner. I wasted a lot of time trying to move some of my office furniture myself, and damaged some things. Had I know how easy and affordable it was to hire movers from Clear Lake Movers, I would have hired them from the get go.

It went very well and I would recommend them. They did a good job and did not scratch anything. They were courteous and professional.

When I first contacted Clear Lake Movers it was to have help packing the majority of my home for staging purposes before actually moving out.  The owner came to get the workers started and make sure they understood what I wanted packed.  The workers packed a few more things than I wanted, including every pot and pan in the kitchen.  Minor problem.
A couple weeks later when I had a firm move date, I called back and after missing the time he said he would come back for a final estimate, we rescheduled.  He arrived and looked at my remaining furniture and said it would cost me $10,000 but that included the truck, 4 people to finish the packing and loading, and 3 people to drive taking turns all the way from Houston to Los Angeles.  The problem I have with this company is not the price charged for the work.  The price is great for all that distance, time, gas, etc and knowing that my belongings would be the only ones on the truck.  That I wouldn't be at the mercy of other people's schedules.  
The biggest problem is that he repeatedly lied to me about the number of personnel coming.  My time is valuable, just like everyone else's.  When move out day arrived, there were 3 workers and not 4, since I was paying hourly I believe that I paid for at least an extra hour because there weren't 4 people.  Then, when the truck arrived in Los Angeles at my new home I was horrified to find ONE worker and the boss's niece.  She is licensed to drive the truck and she did help carry items...but so did I, and so did my husband, and my 5 year old son.  Unacceptable.  There should have been 2 professional movers, and then his niece as additional help.  I shouldn't have needed to lift a finger, but it still took them at least 3.5 hours to unload.  
Oh and some of the items unloaded were GARBAGE.  Items that I put on the curb at my home to be taken by the city trash and recycle not meant to be loaded into the truck.  Now as I unpack my boxes I keep finding trash and recyclables.  There was literally a blue bag that said CITY RECYCLE on it full of empty cans and bottles that I found when unpacking the truck.  YUCK!  Bottom line, you can't turn your back for a second, the movers are not using common sense.  They are packing everything, everywhere.   
If you need some items packed and moved to your garage, they can do it if you watch them like a hawk.  Otherwise your last pot, pan, and toothbrush will wind up packed.  Bottom line, if it looks too good to be true it probably is.  If you are moving cross country, bite the bullet and call a big national mover like Mayflower or Allied.

Clear Lake movers made this one of the easiest  moves I have experienced. Will definitely recommend them to family and friends.
