Description of Work: Inspected my AC system outside to determine the cause of a rattle. Advised it was the grate on too of the housing and some ways I might fix it. Advised that everything else looked good and thanked me for giving them a chance. No charge for the service call. They have earned my respect and thus my future business.

Description of Work: Thought drain line was plugged up. This was during the summer and hot. Called Finch and they said they would try to work us in. Called Weeks and was told there was no way they could get out. So went back to Finch and they did work us in. They were nice but said we needed a plumber not AC. We were out the cost of a service call, but that's okay, they did work us in.

Description of Work: Removed all old equipment, including duct work and hauled away. Releveled and added second pad for condenser to sit on Installed new high SEER condenser,. Added second disconnect for dual compressor condensor. Added new flooring in attic to support new heating unit and plenum boxes. Installed 2 new air filters in return air plenum. Installed all new approved ducts and new metal adjustable grills. Installed satellite plenum box to distribute air flow into master bedroom, bath and laundry room. Installed 2 new return air grills, one in master bedroom, one in kitchen hallway. Installed new drain lines. Installed new thermostat

Description of Work: This all began when my outside condenser iced over. I called Finch A/C. Antoine Johnson came out very quickly in response to my call. Antoine serviced the condenser and performed several checks on the system. I had been planning to replace this system for some time so we struck up a conversation about the age of the condenser and the heater. Antoine gave me a bid of thirteen thousand for the change out. At first I was in sticker shock, I had not replaced the A/C system in years so I was not prepared for a cost like that. I called around to several friends that had done what I wanted and discovered that the price was more than fair. Finch A/C replaced the condenser, the heater, and all the ductwork. Ken Johnson the installation supervisor and his team of Ruben Rojas, Sergio, and Luis were very professional. These folks work in an attic with 100+ temperatures and I never heard one complaint about the heat. I was actually concerned for these men. They would come from the attic and every each of the clothing was cover with perspiration. Ken Johnson took the time to explain how the new system worked and made sure I understood how to best utilize the system. Ken Harris is the finish man that repaired any sheetrock work around the air outlets. Because I had all the ducts replaced, the boots on the outlet are a different size and required some alteration to the openings. Ken did a great job of fixing the problems. Antoine made point of check back to make sure that I was satisfied with the work. Mr. Finch and Susie both checked with me make sure everything was correct. One more thing, this was done in October, but as most people know summer is a long time going here. My A/C was out for two days in ninety-degree temperature. Finch A/C provided a portable unit to cool my house during that. This was without a doubt the best experience I have had with any remodel to my house. Finch A/C is the best. C.R. Worthen

Description of Work: Larry Woods of Finch Air Conditioning and Heating provided an estimate for a Trane central air conditioning system and Finch installed the Trane condenser and evaporator coil the next day. The estimate for the new Trane system was actually lower than the competing bid.

Description of Work: I used Finch Air Conditioning & Heating to replace my air conditioning and heating units. I got everything replaced except the duct work because it was still good.

Description of Work: We had our complete heating and air conditioning systems replaced in our home. There is nothing, even down to the wiring or the pad that is from the old system. The job was done by Finch Air Conditioning & Heating. They had an actual engineer who came out and did my estimate, measured my home and did the evaluation for the installation of my air conditioner. My house had a heater in the hallway that was very noisy. They even put my heating system in my attic. They added another duct where my home is balanced.

Description of Work: Start capacitor and connecting wiring replaced to enable condensing unit to operate and return air conditioning to normal service.

Description of Work: Finch removed and replaced all duct work, vents, and the entire heating and cooling system components. The new system is an upgraded unit; a 2-stage heating and cooling system. The new thermostat monitors both humidity and temperature. New vents and ducts were added or expanded as needed; including a recommend additional of a return air vent in the master bedroom. They also added two motorized dampers in my office and the master bedroom.

Description of Work: Replaced the outside condenser/compressor unit in 2006. Didn't replace the evaporator as recommended, but it started leaking in 2008 and had to be replaced anyway. The total cost to replace both units was about $5700. The outside unit is Amana (SEER 14), a cheaper unit than Trane, but it's operating quite well. Utility bills are $50 to $100 cheaper in the summer. I asked them to put in a smaller 4 ton unit and they agreed. I find it works better then my old 5 ton Coleman SEER 12 unit. The evaporator is a Trane unit with 10 years part and labor warranty. The Amana unit only has 10 years parts warranty.

Description of Work: INSTALLED A 4 TON TRANE A/C & HEATING UNIT IN MY TWO STORY HOME. NEW DUCT WORK WAS INCLUDED. RAN INTO SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE WAY THE HOUSE WAS PARTITIONED IN ATTIC. TOOK TWO DAYS TO INSTALL. 10 YEAR PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY.
