Description of Work: Replaced HVAC system in double wide mobile home of about 1100 sq. Ft. Was done in two days, made several return visits to adjust, always friendly, nice to my elderly mother.

Description of Work: Came to evaluate our system and provide a quote for new AC at our request. While the price for new AC is not cheap, he did NOT do a hard sell or try to scare me into replacing AC. Just one week earlier, we had a service performed by Strand Brothers and they told us we needed new AC units, sent the salesman out out etc. We called AIM to compare. We like AIMs approach MUCH better. Actually measured square footage, considered ceiling heights etc. to correctly decide on size of units. When our AC actually breaks beyond repair, we will call AIM FIRST!!!

Description of Work: We needed a refrigerant refill and they checked for leaks in the valves. The tech arrived on time and seemed pretty thorough. I was a little surprised by the $50 charge to check for leaks in valves that took him less than 5 minutes, but it fixed the problem and we had cool air again almost immediately.

Description of Work: System troubleshooting to determine the cause of the Air Conditioner not cooling my daughters house. Compressor did not appear to be coming on. Technician determined that the run capacitor was bad. He replaced it and inspected the system to see if anything else was problematic. My daughters home Air Conditioner is older and toward the end of it's useful life.

Description of Work: Our a/c went out on 4/16. We called them on 4/17 and they came out that day - within a few hours.. They fixed the problem quickly. They replaced the part and had time to give us an a/c maintenance check up, which we needed.

Description of Work: The folks at AIM work on Saturday and are every bit as responsive and compassionate on Saturday as during standard working hours. Everyone, from the folks answering the phones, to the repairmen, to the owners are solid professionals whoare obviously concerned about fixing the problem as quickly as possible, without taking risky shorcuts. Specifics of this repair: The water from the A/C condensation pan was overflowing. At first it was dry over night and only started leaking when the outside temps got up to 100. AIM blew out the hoses, etc., and we thought it was fixed. Next day, the water under the A/C unit returned. AIM came out again, blew the hoses, etc. and installed a gizmo to shut the A/C off when the water in the pan backed up. All to no avail. Now the leak was worse making it impossible to run the A/C overnight. AIM came out again (on a Saturday) and tried to figure out what was going on. Apparently the hose/pipe going under the concrete slab of the house was damaged and we would need to take a new pipe through the attice to an outside wall. I told them I really didn't like that solution. The repairman stated he would get together with his coworkers on Monday and try to figure out an alternative. On Monday, both owners and three of their staff showed up. They replaced the hose/pipie going underneath the house (Holy crow!! It was encased in a larger pipe) and made a little "french drain" for the end of the hose. This is a massive improvement over the original set-up (house was built in 1982) which required the pipe to come above ground and over an expanse of concrete to a grated drain in the concete patio. This over-the-concrete-to-the-drain was an eye soar and breeding ground for mosquitos. And during rainy times (many moons ago) the crated drains filled, and prevented the A/C from draining, meaning flooding under the A/C again. At this point we've had no rain to test the effectiveness of the new french drain but I can tell you that with 5 days of 100 degree temps, it's working perfectly! Short version: Not only did AIM fix the problem, they made a significant improvement to the system! Oh yes - they never tried to sell me a new A/C, and they didn't charge us for the multiple trips out. And I suspect they didn't charge us for having 5 people working on the solution either. It's been a long time since I've seen this level of customer service!

Description of Work: I used AIM A/C And Heating Services probably in August. They replaced all my units and the duct work. They put insulation in the attic.

Description of Work: HVAC maintenance contract for three units. They come out twice/year.

Description of Work: Their serviceman, Jesse, came the same day I called. He checked out the total system, climbed onto the roof and checked out the compressor. He installed a new capacitor and a Start Kit and could not get the compressor to work. The compressor was obviously finished. He then gave me a few choices: replace only the compressor; replace the total electric unit; or replace the total unit with a heat pump unit. He then went to his truck and called his office for prices. (I had to leave, didn't know he was getting the prices immediately.) He called early the next morning with prices on all choices. I was in a hurry for cold air and elected to replace only the compressor. His company was able to schedule it the next day. They here about 10 a.m. and had it finished within a few hours.
